Nestled in the Byron Bay hinterland, Sedona’s mid-century modern architecture is a striking statement in the lush landscape. Captivating rural and mountain views provide a serene backdrop to your private garden , swimming pool , tennis court, outdoor swings and multiple entertaining zones. Indoors, this sprawling five-bedroom home has something to suit every mood, from a warm conversation in front of the gas fireplace to a memorable night-in in the cinema room.
Transporting you to a hinterland oasis, Sedona offers an endless supply of peace and tranquillity. At the heart of the home is the impressive open plan living, kitchen and dining. In this space extensive glazing frames the rural and pool views, blurring the line between indoors and out. A classic monochromatic palette ensures your focus is on the stunning vista. A black tiled splash back and elevated timber table are stylish additions in the generous kitchen. There’s ample space for all guests to help with food preparation and no shortage of quality appliances or bench space. In the living area, you’ll easily find a comfortable seat and on cool nights, a gas fireplace is on hand.
For a memorable night in for the entire family, you have a separate cinema room with video projector. There’s also a large yard for the kids to explore where they’ll discover swings, a soccer field, basketball court and ping pong table which is sure to offer hours of fun and entertainment. While the kids are enjoying the outdoors, there’s no need for the older guests to miss out. You can start with lunch on the outdoor entertaining area and then move to the resort-style private swimming pool with stylish undercover seating and sun lounges. Grab some snacks and drinks on the way out and you will easily spend an entire afternoon lazing in and around the pool.
A peaceful night’s sleep is assured in the five serene bedrooms. The master suite reflects its peaceful surroundings with the use of soft, flowing fabric and light-coloured timber, while the large ensuite with bath is the ideal indulgence. The second bedroom houses a queen bed and also offers a stunning ensuite while the remaining three bedrooms have double beds and there’s also a large family bathroom.
THE AREA
Sedona is perfectly positioned a short drive from beaches and only 10-minutes from the centre of Byron Bay, so you’re close to shops, cafes and restaurants. If you’re keen to stay close to home, head toward the Byron coastline where you’ll find numerous picturesque beaches and nature reserves. There’s also plenty of quant villages close by where you can sample the local produce. If you want to get close to nature there’s a number of national parks and rainforests that are within a short driving distance.
