Das Tolle an diesem Haus ist die Nähe zum Strand und der Whirlpool, die überdachte Veranda und die modernen Annehmlichkeiten machen es zu einem großartigen Ort, um Regen oder Sonnenschein zu haben. Ich bemühe mich wirklich, dieses Haus kontinuierlich zu verbessern und mein Gasterlebnis immer besser zu machen. Ich habe gerade meine letzte Runde im April 2019 mit einem völlig neuen Badezimmer und neuen Sanitäranlagen abgeschlossen und es wird immer schöner. Highspeed-Internet, neuer Whirlpool März 2014. Toller Ort, um Portland zu verlassen und Ihre Arbeit oder Ihr Studium zu erledigen. Strand ist zwei Blocks entfernt. Der See ist einen Block entfernt. 50-Zoll-Flachbildfernseher, Apple TV, DVD-Player, New Living Furniture Juli 2016, Kabel, Stereoanlage mit iPod-Anschluss, Grill, Bambusboden, neuere Betten. Küche mit Arbeitsplatten aus Granit und Snackbar. Faire Warnung, dass die Böden stellenweise etwas wellig sind, obwohl sie strukturell einwandfrei sind. Esstisch für 8 Personen. Hervorragend für Kinder geeignet. Waschmaschine, Trockner, Bad vom Meister mit neueren Sealy Posturepedic Queen-Bett und 560 Laken und eine gemütliche Daunendecke mit Percale Duvet. Das dritte Schlafzimmer hat ein Etagenbett mit einer neuen Sealy Full Size-Matratze unten und einem Twin-Up-Top. Sie können Twin Rocks vor der Kabine sehen. Neuere kanallose Heizung und Klimaanlage. Zwei Blocks vom besten Strand in Rockaway entfernt, der sich direkt vor den Twin Rocks befindet. Parken für ein Wohnmobil an der Seite. Tolles Schwimmen und Angeln im Spring Lake, der nur einen Block entfernt ist. Gutes Bootfahren weniger als eine Meile entfernt im Lake Lytle. Garibaldi ist ca. 6 km entfernt und bietet Zugang zum Hochseefischen. Mountainbiken 1/2 Meile entfernt. Die meisten Haustiere sind mit einer zusätzlichen Reinigungsgebühr von $ 35 in Ordnung. Nicht erstattungsfähige Reinigungsgebühr von mindestens 75 USD für zwei Nächte. 100 $ Kaution. Maximal 7 Personen. Mindestens 3 Tage Gedenktag.

Great get away in Rockaway!

We loved this quirky and charming property! Perfect for our little group and two dogs. The two adjoining bedrooms were perfect for us and our daughter. Kitchen was great, and plenty of space in the dining area and living room for meals and playing games. TVs and WiFi were great. Nearest beach was lovely and steps away and the hot tub was perfect at the end of a long day. We loved that it was dog friendly with a fenced in yard! Looking forward to booking again sometime for a longer stay!

Wonderful little home away from home

This place is a cute little vacation rental with plenty of room. There was a bit of dog hair but that was mentioned in the ad so we knew ahead of time. No complaints here. Hot tub worked great and the detailed instructions were very helpful. Thank you for the nice stay away.

Pleasant retreat!

Very pleasant, well stocked place to stay! Tom's recomendations were spot on. Pirate Cove was a nice place with very good food and the ancient cedar right down the street was a cool sight to see! We had fun and were very pleased with our accommodations!

Your cabin was quaint, comfortable and had everything that you might need. Thank you for our memorable stay. The one thing that I would highly suggest is that that the mattress in the first bedroom desperately needs to be replaced.

Great place to stay

Yes, the house itself is imperfect, but it is clean, comfortable, and has some nice touches. Hot tub is great, as us backyard and front porch. Comfortable beds, nice appliances, plenty of kitchenware and linens. This property manager has done a great job anticipating the renters needs. Easy access to everything, but in a quiet neighborhood. We stayed a week and it was great.

Great little house

The house is so cute. The kitchen had everything you would need. The bathroom even had a heated towel rack. The beds were comfortable. There were a lot of games if you want to play. The firepit is huge. The hot tub/jacuzzi was very clean and nice, we used it multiple times. The washer and dryer were great. Overall very happy with staying there.

Great price! Cozy accommodations! Wished the hot tub worked.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was cozy, comfortable, and had pretty much everything we needed. The only downside was that the hot tub was not working properly (no real heat and the jets didn't turn on). We would definitely stay here again.

Location, location, location.

Tom’s place was perfect for our family including our pet. Short jaunt to the beach, fenced in yard, and awesome hot tub. We will definitely return here for our annual beach vacation to Rockaway. I’ll just bring our own tablecloth, napkins, and placemats next time. Tom responded quickly to our 2 inquiries—Thank you!

Would return, and did!

This was my second time staying here. You have to cross the highway to get to the beach but it's pretty close and the neighborhood doesn't have loud traffic noises. It's the least expensive place we could find that allows dogs and has a hot tub. Everything was clean, comfortable, inviting. The hot tub was well balanced (I work in that industry and so did thoroughly check before getting in)! The property manager seems pretty laid back. We had a great couple of days.

This place was perfect for us and the dogs. Short walk to the beach, in a nice quiet beach town. Everything was clean and ready for our stay. We bought seafood at Garibaldi and ate our meals at the house. Not an issue for us, but one thing to be aware of, if you have mobility issues this house may be a challenge, tight bathroom space and some uneven transfers between rooms. Not sure why, but there were no forks or spoons to eat with, other than left over plastic from takeout. We would definitely stay here again, the positives for us far outweigh any minor inconvenience(forks).

My Mistake

This was my first time renting a house for three adults and a five year old. It’s way more than we needed. If you had multiple couples with kids, dogs and some drinks by the fire. It’s perfect. I’m a resort by the sea type individual and I think that’s were I’ll stay from here in our. No hard feelings

The perfect beach house, 3 blocks to sand on your toes! Hot tub and fenced yard!

Everything exceeded our expectation! Very clean! Hot tub was WONDERFUL! Fully fenced back yard. Close to everything! Very short 3 block walk to the beach!!! House is well stocked. Games, puzzles and a record player! With some great records! We listened to a little John Denver while relaxing in this incredible beach home! Fish and chips and chowder at the Oregon Smoke House, WOW! Yummy!!!! We heard Ricks roadhouse is a great place, but didn’t make it. Great atmosphere at Lakeside Hideaway. Got my gamble on and had some great drinks! For shopping, Warehouse 10 is an absolute must!!!!!

Average beach house

This beach house provided what we needed. It is an older outdated house. Smaller than expected. Was crammed with 5 people wouldn’t want to try to squeeze in 2 more. Limited number of towels and kitchen supplies. Stove did not work well. Wavy floors is an understatement, structurally the house is falling apart. Hot tub was nice. Neighbors are friendly.

Cute but lumpy

It's a cute little house, just 5 minutes walk from the beach. If you are not paying an arm and a leg, then this rental is a great value for what you get. It's dog friendly, and smells as such. The backyard is great. The whole house creaks loudly when you walk through the kitchen (the central room of the house). Everything in the house is clean and orderly. Someone installed granite countertop, which caused the entire kitchen to sink about 2-3 in, so the floor is uneven (notice ADA). The living room is well lit and pleasant to hang out in.

Clean but not comfortable

We found 2 bedrooms 1 with queen room was of. The 2nd room was set up for kids with bunk style bed and my 5 ft 3 adult daughters feet hung over the end. Bath tub would hardly drain so we were getting ready for a family wedding standing in others bath tub water! :( steps on back deck loose and dangerous. Kitchen floor really close to going all the way through due to rotten subfloor! It was clean. But uncomfortable stay!

Repairs need to be made and not clean

The cleanliness was less than adequate. Dirt very prevelent. Well if someone else’s tooth pick was on the living room floor , well……. Kitchen counters cracked and poorly fixed with epoxy. No working light in wash room. Bathroom door had been kicked and punched. Top hole fixed with a piece of steel, bottom hole not addresses. Empty cans all around the hot tub. Sand in the wash machine. And the list goes on. The location to the beach was great. The money charged did not reflect what condition the house is in. The pictures are misleading to say the least. Rickety way to get into the back yard and no hand rail or porch light. I think at one time it was nice.

Rockaway is a great town with a good selection of fun shops and restaurants. This property is close to the beach and in a great spot for multiple adventures with the kids or a special someone.

I love hanging out on the front porch while it's raining. It's nice to relax in the hot tub after a walk at the beach. The high speed internet makes it a great place to work or study away from home for not too much money. Beds are super comfortable and everything you need is provided to have a relaxing vacation.
