Formally home to the cosy Leil Cottage. Mountain Ash Lodge site has welcomed many guests in its time and has been recently rebuilt with modern conveniences our guests deserve. This charming lodge has an open mezzanine style second story, wood fire and large open living dining space, fully equipped modern kitchen and laundry. Mountain Ash Lodge is ideally situated just a short drive to Lake Mountain and Stevenson Falls and a short stroll to Marysvilles local attractions cafes, river and park.

Guests of Mountain Ash Lodge can enjoy the large decking overlooking large grassy areas with shady trees. This making it an ideal place to sit and enjoy the peaceful sounds of Kookaburras and King parrots.

Boasting luxuries such as fire pit and six person spa. All of the comforts of home have also been thought out to ensure maximum comfort for all guests. With this accommodation having two main sleeping areas both with en suites and a separate toilet downstairs, there is enough privacy for two couples or a young family with room to invite grandparents along too.

Not suitable for Summer Holidays

The aircon was not working on a 35 deg day, there were no fans in the master bedroom and there was no provision of summer bedding. The place is perfect for winter but not summer at all

The property location was perfect very close to the main street of shops. The property itself was really good with the high cathedral ceiling and fire place. Very clean. Only issue not enough toilet paper.

Exceeded expectations

Based on the photos and facilities, we expected the property to be very nice but it totally exceeded our expectations. The cottage is gorgeous, very well appointed and the outdoor spa was definitely a highlight. The property is private, it's in a great location only a short stroll into town. We can't wait to come back.

Great place, clean and in quiet location with green garden setting

Great stay. Everything clean and great. Only point is was very hot and the air conditioner needs serviced as basically did not cool the room but the room had ceiling fans which helped us keep cool.

Fantastic

Exactly as it looked on the photos, great location, lots of space, massive garden for the dogs.... spa was used everyday....close enough to shops to be able to walk but far enough away to be quiet and secluded.... we all loved the place and we shall definitely be back again.... we had a wk there and came back relaxed and refreshed... Open plan living was great with the kids... and the mezzinine gave them a seperate area.... The owners thought of everything.... basic staples (to refil for the next people), firewood on site if needed, washer snd dryer (esp useful with kids)..... all in all a great place to stay for families or couples.... highly recommend this place

A wonderful country getaway

I stayed at this wonderful property for 2 nights with my daughter (10) & our dog. The home is so close to the shops & cafes but you still feel like you are very secluded surrounded by nature on a quiet street. We spent a lot of time outside, loved the spa! Only (slight) negative was that we could not locate the wifi password, but to be fair this allowed us to reconnect with nature & tune out. The property is lovely with everything you need inside & more. Fresh towels were left throughout. Love the fireplace in the evening. So much space yet country cottage feel. We will definitely be back, thank you.

Great family stay

This property was wonderful, just a short stroll into town. Our young family were very comfortable here, unfortunately the house needed a good clean. Linen was clean and the house was tidy however cobwebs everywhere, floors needed to be cleaned, kids found rubbish from previous guests and we had to take out the kitchen bin. Spa was lovely at night looking up at the stars. We would stay here again.

Beautiful property which was warm welcoming with some lights on when we arrived in the evening. Bring dinner if you arrive after 8 because the restaurants/ cafes and supermarket close early.

great location, nice stay

The property is perfectly located, it is beautiful and was comfortable. However, it was disappointing to find out that the spa was still out of order (after reading this in previous reviews many months before). Also, even for the most savvy wood fireplace user, the lack of reasonable size kindlings is a problem when trying to light the very large logs. it would have been nice to have some supply of proper kindlings. overall it was a nice stay and the place is lovely.

Wonderful house in a great location

We had a lovely stay at Mountain Ash Lodge the house was very comfortable and in a great location. The garden and fire pit was wonderful and we had a cosy fire indoors at night. Our only gripe which is very small as others have commented would be to be provided more than quarter of a toilet roll in each bathroom and some extra bin bags as we had 5 adults two children staying. But as I say this was a minimal issue.
