Great beach getaway

Really cute, great location beach getaway! Loved the beach decor and the beds were comfortable. Easy walking right onto the beach and also had a bike ramp to take your bikes on the beach. Definitely a must to ride bikes down the beach and have drinks at Pool Bar Jim's. Also a great ride from Palmetto dunes to Shelter Cove via the under the street pathway. Only problem was the heated pool was out of commission while we were there. Overall, great stay!

Hilton Head Island GetAway

Stayed at rest-a-shored for 9 nights end of October/early November 2024. The condo is nestled inside the Pelmetto Dunes Resort area on Hilton Head Island. The Barrington complex, grounds, pool, beach access, and proximity of the unit to the pool and the beach were fantastic. Great location within the Palmetto Dunes property and a great central location on the island overall. I-Trip was extremely responsive, and provided clear and concise information required. Checkin, check-out and a few questions we had along the way were promptly replied to, which was greatly appreciated. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you'd require. Really nice to have a supply of beach chairs, and a good supply of towels. The Unit is clean, well appointed, with a good lay-out, two full bedrooms, two full baths, and ample closet/storage space. Pelmetto Dunes is a safe and secure (gated) community, with tonnes of ammenities: walking, biking, restaurants, golf, tennis/pickleball. All at your finger tips. The unit looked to be recently refreshed - fresh paint, and solid kitchen/appliances. A few areas could use a little TLC: Screen door to balcony, bi-fold closet doors, windows needed a major wash, and perhaps a new mattress in the master bedroom, living room furniture a bit worn.. Easy fixes, and certainly nothing that would prohibit us from coming back! Thanks I-Trip Hilton Head for making our first visit an extremely pleasant one!

Great stay

We had a wonderful stay at Rest A Shored! It was in a great location with very convenient access to the beach and pool. Palmetto dunes is a lovely area to stay in, and we really enjoyed the walking/bike paths, beach, beautiful grounds, and wildlife. The condo was very comfortable, located in a quiet area, had very nice furnishings, plenty of natural light in the main living space, and great views of the pond. Bathrooms were spacious with plenty of counter space. The starter supplies provided were convenient and useful. We enjoyed meals at the dining room table. We biked to nearby shelter cove and enjoyed restaurants, music, piers, and parks. We will be back!

Love this place!

This is our second stay at this wonderful condo at HHI within the Palmetto Dunes community. The place is clean and has everything you need to cook. They also do have an ice machine in the freezer, which is very helpful when packing reusable water bottles to take to the beach. It's a short walk to the pool and beach. This area of the beach is not crowded at all. We were able to set out our tent and never had anyone behind or in front of us. The beach is also very safe for little ones as you can walk out very far with the water level still being around your legs rather than being so high you have to tread water. Highly recommend and plan to stay again next year!

Perfect Getaway

Great location but the condo and furnishings were very worn and tired. As with many/ most advertised properties, the pictures can, and usually are, deceiving. The kitchen was well equipped. We had a few problems but the management team responded immediately and did a great job for us. They are to be commended.

Great place

This condo was exactly as described!! Superbly clean when we arrived. We walked to the beach and pool everyday. Pool-1 min…beach access point-2 min. We had an issue with the dryer not working. After reporting in the afternoon a repairman was there the next day. The dryer wasn’t as speedy as mine at home, but it eventually got the job done. All appliances worked. And the A/C kept us very cool. No complaints. There are alligators in the ponds on the property. We saw them almost everyday. We would stay here again. Very quiet condo. Perfect spot in Palmetto Dunes.

Great HHI place, super close to beach and pool.

Loved this place! It is such a short walk to both beach and pool, which is super important with little ones in tow (ages 2, 4, and 6). Place was clean and had everything you needed to cook. Has an automatic ice maker in freezer, which is great for refilling water bottles before heading to the beach. There is a toaster. I didn’t see it listed, so brought mine from home for frozen waffles, but didn’t actually need to. Space was great for my family of 5. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!

Fantastic Location in Beautiful Unit!

Our family had the perfect stay in this beautiful unit! Super short walk to the pool and beach and beautiful bikes paths to enjoy. We would happily stay here again. It had everything we needed! We also enjoyed sitting on the deck that overlooks the lagoon.

The Best Trip

This was our first time visiting Hilton Head and we were so sad to leave. Condo was perfect for our family of four. Pictures accurately depicted the listing, everything was so clean. Walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes. We cannot wait to return.

Everything was great!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit was as pictured, had all the comforts of home, and close to beach and pool. Property Management team was on it, with directions, check-in and check out information. The unit info booklet was very helpful. On proeperty General Store was a bonus!

Everything went smoothly and pleasantly with this rental. The property manager communicated with us clearly and often, which was super helpful, and the unit, though gently worn, met our needs in every way. Would happily stay here again!
