Great Family Vacation

We had the Best time during our annual ME family vacation. We have rented many homes over the years and this was one of the best. The house was perfectly laid out for families and very clean. The game room was a Big plus with the kids (and grown-ups). Kathleen, the owner, was Very easy to communicate. She responded quickly to our questions and did everything she could to make sure we had everything we needed. The house had everything you would need for your vacation. It was nice not to have to bring extra "stuff." The lake is beautiful. The community beach was quiet and only a short walk across the street. The kayaks and paddle board were an added bonus. We all loved paddling around the lake. We love this area of ME. Luckily we had beautiful weather during our stay, but there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. Some of the best fresh donuts and lobster rolls are only 2 minutes from the house. Overall this was a perfect vacation. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you Kathleen!!!

Great for three generations!

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious and comfortable house. The screened in porch and patio with firepit were family favorites to hang out and chat. The game room was a great addition! We rented a boat and kept in on the mooring to enjoy the lake and visits to Frye Island.

109 Caton Rd. Was very clean and well-equipped. The owner was so nice and responsive to all our questions. The little beach on the lake was perfect for our 5-year-old twins. And the grownups enjoyed kayaking and fishing.

Great Family Memories at the Lake

The house was perfect for our group, ranging from 11 months, 7 and 9 year olds and adults. It was spacious, clean and well stocked. There was plenty of room to hang out inside and out. We enjoyed cooking out and the fire pit! The lake beach is a 2 minute walk and most days we were the only ones there. It was clean and refreshing! The boat launch was great too since we could go tubing and enjoy the sunsets!

Fantastic House

I cant say enough about this house. The house is spotless. This home is well equiped with anything you might need for your stay at the lake. We had our 86 year old grandma with us and she uses a walker, it was very easy for her to get around. The lower level was perfect for our older boys to play their video games and music. We would rent this home again in a second.

A Taste of Maine!

Very nice location very clean and close to town. The lake beach is a short walk with a moring for your boat. Located on the calm end of the lake. Well stock kitchen. Very friendly and responsive host. Great screened in porch and outside patio with a fire pit.

Great family getaway!

Great location and an owner that cares

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. The house was very well stocked with everything we could possibly need including beach towels, bath towels, extra bedding, kitchen utensils, high-chair, pack and play, and on and on. Easy walk to the private community beach. Also, we rented a boat for the walk and the owner was kind enough to put a mooring in the water for us. Besides our 5-star stay, the only small issue was that there was no bathroom in the basement where the two other bedrooms are so you had to come upstairs each time. Overall, it was a great stay!

A week at the Lake

Kathleen is an awesome host. The property is VERY well and thoughtfully equipped. The kitchen is significantly better equipped than our home kitchen. From the outdoor grill to the great coffee maker to the Kayaks to the numerous TVS s to communication to everything else Kathleen does a great job. We enjoyed our week and made some nice family memories.

Great week in Maine

Great house with all the little amenities included. From shampoo in the showers to beach chairs and games, the owner and house provide almost everything you would need. My children loved using the included kayaks and paddle board on the lake. It’s a great location to explore the White Mountains in NH to the west or the coastal towns of Maine to the east.

Well appointed home near the beach

House was immaculately clean and thoughtfully filled with amenities. Comfortable mattresses, ac (which we were grateful for in what ended up being a very hot week!), and plenty of space for all of us to spread out. Our tweens enjoyed the fact that there was a separate living room with tv that they could watch their own shows in the mornings or when we returned from outings. Located in a great spot for convenient day trips to lots of fun excursions. The association beach was a short walk, and was great for kids- sand to play in and gradual entrance to the water. We enjoyed mornings on the screen porch or on the patio- great places to relax! We did wish there was a better view to the water from the house- really the only downside we found! Host was great with communication, and always prompt to respond. Likewise, the fact that the house is located in a community association meant that there was help nearby in case of trouble (a storm took a tree down on the property during our visit, and they had it cleared immediately- it was quite impressive!)

Lovely Family Sebago Getaway

Kathleen was a wonderfully responsive host for our visit. When issues arose such as no hot water for first two days she immediately contacted professionals to remedy problem. She was kind enough the first night to provide pizza & salad so we could avoid doing dishes. Also, it was very hot during our stay & downstairs bedrooms, especially the one without a ceiling fan could benefit from a window AC unit. The two adults & 2 children using the front bunk bed room felt it was very stuffy even when using floor fans. The kids loved the game room & games & the outside patio area was excellent for cooking & relaxing. The kitchen was fully stocked with event we needed & more! Overall we had a great family gathering on beautiful Sebago Lake & we thank you Kathleen for being a wonderful host!

We had a great week at Kathleen's house. We were two adult sisters, one adult nephew and 4 older teenagers. The home is located in a suburban-type enclave, which despite its proximity to the main road (about 1/2 mile) is very quiet and pleasant to walk around in.The lake which is about a two minute walk away, is clear and cold (in June) and wonderful for swimming, kayaking, and paddle-boarding(we rented paddle-boards, which were delivered to us, no muss, no fuss).There is relatively little boat traffic on this part of the lake, a (and of course you can always stay in the roped off area). The small beach is very quiet and peaceful and wonderful for sunsets. Great features of the house include the game room with ping-pong, darts and foosball, which was a delightful source of fun for the teens as well as the adults; the large, well-equipped kitchen and the separate areas (game room away from the living/dining area and upstairs bedroom areas, such that noise was not a problem, and the comfortable patio for hanging out and dining. As for the layout of the house, the main level contains the primary bedroom with its own bathroom, and a second bathroom. On this level there is also the living/dining area and a second bedroom which currently has a murphy bed outfitted with a comfortable topper and a dresser (no closet).The game room is a few steps down at the end of a hall, and the basement level is down a flight of carpeted steps off the game room. On this lower level there are the bunk room, a king -bedroom, and a hang-out area with pull-out couch, recliners and a television (one of several). There is no bathroom on this level (owner intends to add one). Kathleen was extremely friendly,helpful and responsive to any needs we expressed.

Sebago Lake Family Getaway

This was our first time in this area. The rental house was amazing and exactly what we needed!! It was exactly as described and then some! we have a 4 year old and 7 year old and the game room was a huge hit! We enjoyed the beach every day which was only a 30 second easy walk. The sunsets were beautiful, the beach was clean, and the water was wonderful for the kids!! We used the fire pit every night for a fire and s’mores with the kids to unwind and relax. The house itself was super clean and had everything we needed. Out of all the rental houses we’ve stayed in over the year, this was the most well stocked one we have ever been in! The host was absolutely wonderful and great with communication!! The location was very close to anything we needed- grocery stores, restaurants, and a marina that we used to rent a boat. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

We had a great time staying here. Our kids really loved the game room. Location is very nice - short walk to the water. We enjoyed taking family photos by the lake during the sunsets, grilling, making s’mores in the fire pit, playing in the game room, relaxing downstairs watching tv. Not too far from Portland- we also spent a day at Bar Harbor and Acadia national park(couple hour drive from here) Very friendly owner who went out of her way to make sure we had a great time. Will definitely revisit.

Great for 2 young families!

We spent a long weekend with our 2 year old, 2 friends, and their 2.5 year old and 5 month old. The house was great to have separation while the kids napped or slept and plenty of play area. The quick walk to the beach made short and longer trips easy. Kathleen was SO responsive and the house had everything we needed including wagons for trucking toddlers and all their stuff down to the beach. We’re already talking about when we’ll come back!
