New listing! This 2 bedroom loft with an additional interior loft is a cozy upper level space with a deck overlooking a large yard and tucked away in a private cove on Lamoka Lake. One queen bedroom and one twin bedroom with 2 twin beds. There is a full bathroom with a teak vanity and large lighted vanity mirror. Stained pine ceiling in the main room with an overhead fan and french doors open out to a private deck with outdoor seating and barbecue. There is a laundry room on the lower level with a washer/dryer. There are approximately 12 steps up to the loft from the ground, so this rental is not suitable for the handicapped or very young children. The dock is shared with the rental next door, however, each are provided with their own fire pits, kayaks, rowboat and life jackets. The water just off the dock is not good for swimming. Red Bank Island is a small island in the middle of the lake which is a nice spot for wading and swimming. Weekly rentals Saturday to Saturday during high season. 4 night minimum off season.

Beautifully furnished and secluded loft

We enjoyed our time on Lamoka and made use of the boats available. The loft was beautifully furnished: furniture, appliances, and cleanliness were all top-notch. The road to the loft is graveled (not paved), which I hadn't realized from the listing, but as we have a AWD car, we did not find it a problem. Location was convenient to Hammondsport and Watkins Glen. We were too taken by the boats and the lake to venture farther afield!

Finger lakes vaca

We really enjoyed our stay at Lamoka Lake. The house was perfect for what we needed. Very clean and updated. Close enough to bigger lakes that gave us the opportunity to do things but still secluded enough to have the privacy we wanted. It would have been nice to at least antenna tv, but watching some of the movies worked out well. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

Relaxing Lamoka Lake Retreat

My husband and I were looking for a place to unplug and get-away from it all, and the Lamoka Lake Loft was just what we needed! Situated near so many of the Finger Lakes and State Parks, we spent our mornings hiking and sightseeing and our afternoons back at the loft relaxing by the dock or on the deck. It was nice to have the kayaks for taking an early evening stroll around the lake before settling in for the night. We especially enjoyed (very) early morning coffee on the deck for fabulous star-gazing - the lack of city lights in the area, allowed us to see stars that we don't normally get to see at home! We were also entertained by "Bert" the Great Blue Heron, who likes to "fish" on either side of the dock! The loft is beautifully furnished, tastefully decorated and boasts a modern kitchen furnished with anything you would possible need! We prepared and ate all of our meals at the loft, except for the little trip to Crooked Lake Creamery - the next lake over, for Homemade Ice Cream Sundaes! Kathryn was very easy to communicate with throughout the process and provided easy to follow instructions to get back to the loft from the main road. We have stayed at a lot of VRBO's in the past several years, all with their own unique experiences, but we would definitely say this was the best!

Perfect Lake Weekend Getaway

We had an amazing time at this location, the owner is super responsive (definitely contact her about how to get to the location once you're on the last road, our GPS would have taken us the wrong way). The house was clean and perfect for a great, relaxing getaway. Only about 20 mins away from Watkins Glen and great wineries and vineyards, plus access to a fantastic lake, we had so much fun and definitely recommend!

Great Lakefront property!

Just had an amazing stay at this property! A little off-the-beaten path, but that's exactly what we wanted and it provided a very cozy, intimate experience. You're still less than a half hour from several wineries on Keuka and Seneca Lake. We kayaked during the sunset, sat around the firepit and grilled everyday. There is an additional loft space that you can't see in pictures. This was a nice area to lounge and play games. There were all new appliances and overall we had an amazing stay! I would highly recommend! We will definitely be visiting the Finger Lakes again soon!

Lakeside gem

We just spent 8 wonderful days at this lovely property in its exceptionally beautiful setting. The 'loft' house is compact but has been stylishly renovated and was extremely comfortable for our family of 2 adults and a child. Because the weather was sunny and dry all week, we ate all our meals outside on the deck while enjoying the stunning view of Lamoka lake. It was also great to be able to explore the lake by kayak, and to also rent ski and pontoon boats on nearby Seneca and Keuka lakes on other days. This place is really special and truly exceeded our expectations.

Perfect Summer Gate-away

If you are looking for perfect summer gate-away from busy every day life - this is place is for you. Located in a beautiful wooded area with beautiful view of the lake. The loft was very cleaned and the kitchen was equipped perfectly for summer cooking. We loved having our meals on the deck and boys loved kayaking. I highly recommend this place. You will be positively surprised.

Lakoma Lake Gem

Wonderful hidden gem in a secluded setting. Place was beautifully furnished with high end finishes, even better than what we viewed in the photos. All of the duckweed in the cove made fishing off the dock unfeasible, but a short kayak/row boat ride out of the cove and you are in a great fishing spot. The host was easy to communicate with and we appreciated having access to the kayaks and rowboat. No WIFI or cable TV allowed us to disconnect and relax. We would highly recommend staying here. Thanks for sharing your beautiful place with us.

This house was a wonderful, peaceful getaway

We really enjoyed this property. It was quiet, perfect for social distancing. We spent a lot of time kayaking on the lake and enjoying the wildlife in the cove in front of the house. The yard was large and flat enough for the kids to play soccer and whiffle ball. The kitchen is fully stocked, we prepared all of our meals for our week stay without any issues. I think the description of the house was very honest. A great place to stay!

Great place

Wonderful secluded setting. Will set the bar for anyplace we may stay in the future. We had a flat tire while there and two of the regulars helped us take care of that and were super friendly. Also the fish from the lake were delicious. Will stay again if given the chance.
