Spectacular sweeping views to the sea, the Monchique Mountains and Lagos. Very spacious open plan living/dining area with award winning wrap around windows which frame the view magnificently. Lounge area has 46' LCD TV & DVD system . Dining room seating for up to 8 people and 2 three seater leather sofa's and reclining chair.
Three of the 4 bedrooms have electric shutters and internal black out blinds-perfect for getting the kids to sleep or an afternoon nap! The fourth bedroom has a view to a hidden garden. Master bedroom a 36 inch TV and king sized luxury bed.
The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher, double fridge, microwave, integrated coffee maker, induction hob and fan oven.
Patio doors lead to a very private & sheltered patio, perfect for outdoor eating, further steps lead down to barbecue the large wooden decking area, great for sunbathing. Shallow lower pool-perfect for the very young ones to splash around in!

The Villa is perfect for outdoor dining, there is a built in BBQ area and a wonderful eating area on the upper patio which is sheltered from the prevailing wind. It is also very private.

Breakfast in the morning sun and evening barbecues under warm skies on the patio are fantastic.

The lower pool which is about 40 cm in depth is great for the young ones to splash around or even start the process of learning to swim. There is also a swing set for them.

The pool is equipped with a solar pool cover. It is easy to roll out and wind up. We strongly recommend that it is used a night time.

During the hotter months a car is definitely required, but during the cooler months from November to March
it is easy to walk almost everywhere should you so choose. The centre of Lagos is about 25 minutes away on foot.

For the children, the Lagos Science Museum which is relatively unknown is great for the under 10's.

The municipal swimming pool complex is also well worth a visit.

Walking is great and the cliff top walk from Porto de Mos (starting down the road) to Praia Da Luz or onto Burgau is fantastic. Not recommended though during the hotter months!

The largest shopping malls are Aqua in Portimao and is Algarve Shoping in Guia but Lagos has a wide range of boutique shops and many great restaurants.

The Italian up from the main square in Lagos is a favorite of ours and Chico's on the N125 next to the pottery is very popular with the locals but for lunches only. Adega Da Marina opposite the marina for value for money food. Always busy and great for the kids.

Alvor for sardines and fish on the water front is also a nice place to eat.

Great property and location

Very spacious and well equipped property - perfect for a family celebration. Lovely pool, big bedrooms and great entertaining space. We really enjoyed ourselves. Some parts of the property could do with updating - we experienced some pool tiles falling off, the washing machine didn’t work and we had some problems with the drain in the kitchen. These did not impact our lovely stay, and are obviously very fixable - signs of a well used and much enjoyed house in the sun...

Great house, host and communication could use some improvements

Overall, the house and the proximity to the beach was delightful, could not have asked for more. The check in experience was great, the host was there when we arrived and showed us how to use the espresso machine (which was complicated but made great coffee). There were supposed to be four of us staying there, so the host only made up three rooms which was weird but he quickly fixed up the other bed. I would have preferred if all beds were made, it should be up to us what rooms we're using. The biggest problem was that we never got the Air Conditioning downstairs working. I reached out multiple times to the host to ask for assistance and 5 people were not able to get the system working. I found it odd that the host never bothered to check in to see if we got the system working. After checking out, instead of asking us how our stay was, the first message from our host was that the settings on the AC unit were wrong. It just felt like a punch in the gut since I slept on the couch 2 nights in a row because I was being eaten alive by mosquitos downstairs when I opened the window to try to sleep at night. Also, for a house with its own pool and so close to the beach, I'd expect to find a few extra towels so we can keep our shower towels separate from sand and chlorine and some reusable plastic cups to make it safe to drink by the pool. But that was fixed by running a load of laundry every day. When we were preparing to check out I asked the host if there were any check out instructions and the only thing he said was to leave the keys on the counter. I then received a bunch of messages about how I didn't take the trash out, and accidentally left pizza in the fridge and one of the bathrooms wasn't clean enough. I spent over 45 minutes cleaning up before leaving (including making sure the dishwasher ran for 1 hour instead of 3) and this left such a sour taste in my mouth as I was driving up to Lisbon. In summary, the house is great, assuming you get the AC working, but the host could learn some manners.

Beautiful home in a great location

Beautiful spacious home on a quiet street a short walk to the beach. Nice walking trails all around on the cliffs with gorgeous views. James met us at the house on check-in and showed us how everything worked. Nice pool although a bit cool in late October. Nevertheless, my granddaughter went swimming several times in the pool. Beautiful beach with some great restaurants nearby.

Fantastica estadia

Casa 5*, bem decorada e muito espaçosa, com uma sala fantastica. Cozinha bem equipada com tudo o necessario para fazer refeições. Piscina óptima, com boas dimensões. A casa ultrapassou as expectativas criadas pelas fotos. Boa localizacao, em zona muito sossegada e bem perto da praia. Unico aspecto q podia ser melhorado era ter acesso a tv por cabo portuguesa, mas com acesso ao netflix, nao foi um problema. Aconselho sem hesitacões !!

Logement au calme et très spacieux

Villa très spacieuse, située en hauteur (jolie vue) et au calme, à proximité de la plage (10 minutes à pied). Vue sur mer ! Très agréable et reposant. Le restaurant français à 5 minutes à pied est excellent ! Excellent séjour en famille.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt!

Sehr schönes Haus, perfekte Lage mit Meerblick! Super geeignet für 2 Familien. Alles notwendige war vorhanden. Besonders zu erwähnen ist der top Gasgrill und die Planca.....top Kocherlebnis! James ist ein sehr freundlicher Besitzer!

Fantastisk opphold i Porto de Mos!

Vi leide huset i nesten tre uker. Fantastisk bra beliggenhet med kort vei til det meste. Rolig og behagelig område. Tursti starter rett bak huset hvor man kan gå tur langs klippene. Fint for en løpetur. Utrolig deilig og behagelig at det er litt vind på kysten:-) Kan være greit med leiebil hvis man vil farte litt rundt og når man skal handle litt mat. Gåavstand til stranden og man kan også gå inn til Lagos sentrum. Kort vei å kjøre til det meste av småsteder, mange fine steder så anbefaler å se seg litt rundt. Kjempefint hus med alt du trenger. Stort badebasseng som også passer for de minste. Deilig uteområde med solsenger og grill. Store fine soverom, tre av dem med aircondition og blendingsgardiner. Gode senger og det er bad på to av soverommene. Siste soverom hadde en stående vifte og persienner. Vi var to familier som delte huset og følte ikke at vi "gikk oppå hverandre". Godt utstyrt kjøkken med alt du trenger, god plass. James var der ved ankomst og vi kunne kontakte ham om det var noe. Han var supertrivelig og imøtekommende.En parasoll ute ble ødelagt og han erstattet den dagen etter. Det ble vasket en gang i uken med skift av sengetøy og håndklær. Takk for oss James, vi kommer gjerne tilbake!:-)

Beautiful modern luxury villa, 5 min walking from the beach

The villa is stunning, with 4 big rooms and 4 bathrooms. The kids loved the pool! Very close to the most beautiful beach in Lagos and 5 min driving to the center. The kitchen has anything you need!! And outside there is a big barbecue! James the owner is very nice! We really loved our holiday!

The property was absolutely brilliant.

The pool was very large and the kids splash pool at the bottom was great. The garden surrounding the villa is a very good size which gave the children plenty of space to run around. Inside there was everything we needed, the kitchen was very well equipped. The property was very clean and modern. There was airconditioning in almost all rooms and there was lots of storage for food and clothes. I cannot recommend this villa enough it was brilliant. It was about 5 mins by car into Lagos which was perfect. There is also a beach about a 5 min walk away with a really amazing beach restaurant. I hope to return to this villa again , it was a perfect holiday.

Amazing Holiday

I came on holiday with my family of 2 children and had a wonderful time. The small paddling pool was perfect for the younger children and provided great comfort knowing they weren't in deep waters. We often took a stroll down o the beach in the evening for a drink while the kids played on the beach. Trully a lovely villa and one of our best holidays.
