Der beeindruckende Steinkamin bietet den perfekten Rückzugsort für alle, die sich nach einem langen erlebnisreichen Tag hier treffen möchten. Der Koch in Ihrer Gruppe wird die großartige, voll ausgestattete Küche mit Edelstahlgeräten wirklich genießen. Es gibt auch einen fabelhaften Essbereich im Freien sowie zusätzliche Sitzgelegenheiten, sodass sich jeder entspannen und die unglaubliche Aussicht genießen kann. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett, öffnet sich zur Terrasse für atemberaubende Sonnenaufgänge und hat ein angrenzendes Badezimmer mit separater Badewanne und Dusche. Es gibt zwei Gästezimmer in diesem Haus. Das erste hat ein Queen-Size-Bett; Das andere ist mit zwei Etagenbetten ausgestattet. Die Zimmer teilen sich ein komplettes Badezimmer. Unten in der unteren Ebene finden Sie eine Höhle mit einem Schlafsofa und einem privaten Vollbad. Dieses Privathaus mit drei Schlafzimmern und drei Bädern befindet sich in der Gemeinde Tater Knob in der Region Glenville. Es gibt eine Garage für ein Auto, einen Wohnbereich mit Kamin und TV, ein Esszimmer für 8 Personen und eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Küchengeräten aus Edelstahl und Granit. Dieses Haus bietet auch Highspeed-WLAN und Sat-TV. Es gibt einen Gasgrill auf dem Deck für Ihren Genuss. Das Master-Schlafzimmer hat ein Kingsize-Bett und öffnet sich auf das Deck. Great views! Very spacious

Beautiful view of lake. Big porches to spread out and relax. Spacious bedrooms. Not far from town, but the road leading to the cabin is steep and dark at night.

Excellent Cabin and Location!

The family and I made our annual NC trip to an area we love. We saw this cabin and felt it would be perfect for a family of 4 or more. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Spacious, yet cozy! The downstairs area was perfect for the kids to hang and watch tv while the adults enjoyed the upstairs. Beautiful view of the lake in a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Even got a nice visit from a nice 8 pt whitetail buck! Location was perfect and just a few minutes from shopping and restaurants. We stay at a lot of cabins and this one definitely is one we would stay at again!

Great mountain getaway

My family stayed here for the Thanksgiving break and had an absolutely fantastic week! The house is conveniently located to Cashiers, lake Glenville, and plenty of shopping and outdoor activities. The cabin was fully furnished with everything we needed to cook our Thanksgiving meal, and the property manager even provided a lovely care package upon arrival. The view of the lake from the balcony is spectacular and the cabin feels private, as it sits at the end (and top) of a mountain community. The layout is spacious and provided more than enough room for our family of four and 6 year-old Golden, who loved laying out on the huge balcony. The fireplace was perfect for the cooler nights and added to the ambience of this special place. We highly recommend staying here if you're traveling to the Cashier's area.

Disappointed

This property is clearly a work in progress. The electrical downstairs didn’t work and the area is still under construction…only partially finished basement. The house overall could use some maintenance and cleaning. Primary bedroom mattress was super soft. Bunk beds were shaky and the ladders were connected by zip ties. The location and view were great. Find another house in the area.

This house was great! It has an excellent view and is furnished very well. It would not hurt to have a quick pressure wash but it feels clean and comfortable Great location, great view.

Amazing Property

The view from this property was amazing. The main floor is nice and open when plenty of space and the basement is huge. I would rent directly with the property manager next time as responses to vrbo questions were not received until the last minute and we were left unsure about the check in process.

Under Construction

This house is under construction with exposed Fiberglass insulation and a 6’x5’ hole is one of the walls with construction materials left where animals and children could get to them. Overall the house is in very poor repair with torn and extremely work rugs, furniture and bedding. I went and bought my own pillows as the houses are so old. Kitchen had a lot of accessories that were just tossed in the cabinets haphazard. Water heaters are not adequate for guest to use the shower or bath at the same time. The exterior of the house was covered in mold and there were broken stone planters with missing or loose stone all over. Very dangerous if you stepped on one. I would not recommend renting this home even at the lower rate they offer, too many issues to make it worth the Pet Friendly location, which was its only saving grace. The Management Company was very responsive but could not finish the construction projects that were underway.

The process went well. We had rented a different property, but on our check-in day an issue arose regarding the original property. The property manager called and emailed to let us know and then located alternate property we stayed in.

Beautiful house

We loved our stay in the beautiful treehouse during thanksgiving. The fireplace was amazing and the beds and bedding of high quality. The house itself was clean and very comfortable. We did however find some dirty pots and pans when cooking.

Excellent property; particularly with the split bedrooms upstairs, bunk room, and lower level living area perfect for multi-family or guests to have their own space. Reviews and descriptions accurate: you are trading the fantastic view of the lake for the steep access 1/2 mile down to the lake shore.

long weekend summer stay

very nice property in a great neighborhood; convenient to lake and town and hiking. Understand that it's on a very steep lot (like many on Lake Glenville), so activity at the house is limited to the house itself - but it has a great deck and is well supplied with excellent internet, etc. Walk to a very nice community access site on Lake Glenville is a steep ~10 minutes down and a bit slower coming back up, or a 2 minute drive. The community lake access is a very clean and private and quiet beach area great for swimming or hanging out.

Lakeview Treehouse

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Tater Knob Tree House an are looking forward to making this an annual trip. The Beds were great. Kids loved the Bunk Beds. and Everyone enjoyed the huge soaking tub in the Master . The Deck is perfect. Kitchen was stocked with all the essentials. The Driveway up to the house was an adventure for us lowlanders but we got the hang of it. Can't wait to come back. Note: Housekeepers had to return to finish the downstairs as they didn't have enough linens but she was very nice. The Grill is hard piped with Propane from the house so there is no need for a propane tank swap.

Property With a Nice View!

The Treehouse had a great view of the lake and was very spacious. My only complaint is that I wish they had a remote check-in process. It is a pain if you are driving in from the North to add 15 minutes each way to go to the rental office at check-in, then again at check-out.

Beautiful Location and lovely home.

We always love the Cashiers area. The home was under some remodeling and needed a little TLC. It is called Tree Top for a reason. No area to walk dogs or yard. We really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to the updates. Will probably book lower in the valley next time but, that is strictly a personal preference. The view from the back patio is unbelievable. Just beautiful. Thank you so much!

Great Stay

The only bad part of this stay was the Hurricane that inexplicably decided to travel through Glenville in October. The house and Tater Knob area are very quaint. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and there was a very comforting sense of community. The view at the end of "leaf season" was spectacular. We would definitely go back. The bottom floor is partially finished, but we were comfortable with 4 adults on the main floor.

Top knob

This was a lovely house with a wonderful view of the lake. Although the house is not new, it felt like it. My 95 rating would go to 100 with a few upgrades. We rent a lot so we are particular. Provide coat hangers. Provide firewood even with a surcharge. The gas starter is a wonderful convenience, but having to schlep down the mountain for wood is not. We thought the kitchen lighting needs to be upgraded. If it were my house I would add cushioned furniture on the deck. That’s where we spent most of our time while at the house because of the weather and the view, but the rockers got hard after a while. I would also provide a cast iron skillet. Just saying. That’s how I cook. Notwithstanding the above, this is one of the nicest and most comfortable homes we have rented. Thanks for sharing it. We hope to return soon.
