Süßes West Seattle Cottage

Unser Studio verfügt über hohe Decken und große Fenster, die es hell und hell machen. Es verfügt über ein Queen-Size-Bett sowie ein Queen-Size-Bett für ein Bett, so dass maximal 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder in einem Studio untergebracht werden können. Das Studio eignet sich besonders für ein Paar oder eine kleine Familie. (Leider können 4 Erwachsene nicht untergebracht werden.) Wir haben auch ein Pack 'n' Play, das wir auf Anfrage anbieten können. Es gibt einen 42-Zoll-Flachbildfernseher mit Kabel- und DVD-Player und einen Schreibtisch, an dem Sie Ihren Laptop aufstellen können, um von unserem drahtlosen High-Speed-Internet zu profitieren.

In der Küche finden Sie einen Kühlschrank, einen Backofen / Herd, eine Kaffeemaschine und eine Mikrowelle. In den Schränken finden Sie alles, was Sie während Ihres Aufenthalts benötigen. Wir haben Kaffee und einige Vorräte für den Einstieg. Das Badezimmer verfügt über alle notwendigen Dinge und ein paar Extras. Es hat nur eine Dusche, keine Badewanne.

Das Studio befindet sich auf der Nordseite des Haupthauses und neben dem Charlestown Water Tower. Der Hof ist ein angenehmer Ort zum Entspannen. Im Hinterhof gibt es auch einen Spielbereich für Kinder.

Obwohl Sie sich in dem ruhigen, ruhigen Studio gemütlich und gemütlich fühlen, sind Sie nur ein paar Blocks vom Herzen unserer Nachbarschaft entfernt. Gehen Sie die Straße hinunter zur West Seattle Junction, einem Fußgänger-Hotspot mit ausgezeichneten Kunstwerken, Antiquitäten, Cafés, großartigen Restaurants, einer Apotheke, Lebensmittelgeschäften, dem ganzjährig geöffneten Sunday Farmer's Market und dem Nachtleben.

Sie wohnen nur einen Katzensprung vom Alki Beach, dem Lincoln Park und dem Elliot Bay Water Taxi entfernt. Alki Beach ist ein großartiger Ort für Sommerspaß und eine herrliche Aussicht auf die Innenstadt. Im Lincoln Park können Sie im Wald spazieren gehen oder im Salzwasserpool schwimmen. Das Elliot Bay Water Taxi vom Seacrest Pier in die Innenstadt von Seattle ist eine großartige Möglichkeit, bei einer kurzen Fahrt in die Innenstadt eine atemberaubende Aussicht zu erleben und das Parken in der Innenstadt zu vermeiden. Great location, wonderful host(s)

This cute cottage in West Seattle met all our expectations, and exceeded some. As a person who uses a wheelchair, I can say that this cottage was by far the most accessible accommodations I have ever stayed at. The host was very helpful in suggesting things to do, and three best way of transport to get there. I would definitely stay here if I ever find myself in Seattle again! Thank you, Janet, it was a pleasure to meet up and chat.

Quiet guesthouse in nice neighborhood

The neighborhood is very quiet and cute, within walking distance from restaurants and shops. The cottage is open and bright and had everything we needed. We might suggest for guests who are light sleepers to bring eye masks since it is so bright. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there even were a lot of games, including pin ball and shuffleboard. We enjoyed our stay!

Great place!

This place is bright with lots of windows, roomy and comfortable. The bed was great and plenty of pillow options to find the just right one. The kitchen is well stocked. The air conditioning was a nice treat. The garden outside is beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet. You are close to everything. Constellation Park is a 5 minute drive with great tide pooling. I enjoyed Ampersand Cafe on Alki with great coffee, breakfast items, and a waterfront view. There is also Metropolitan Market nearby with great produce, deli and hot bar. Janet was an incredible and thoughtful host.

Charming and Well Stocked

We loved our stay in this guest house. It was clean, comfortable and quiet, and the Shafis are friendly and welcoming. It's pretty obvious that they put a lot of thought into preparing for guests, as the place is well stocked with the usual needs, plus games and even picnic supplies. There is also plenty of seating in their lovely garden, which alone is worth the price of admission. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to stay there again when we find ourselves in the area.

Absolutely fabulous place to stay while in Seattle.

My boyfriend and I just stayed here for three days and we can't say enough about what a gem of a property it is.. The cottage is just adorable and one can see how much the property owners love this cottage by the decor, attention to detail, cleanliness, quality of furniture, lines, towels etc. The property is in a fabulous location (2 miles from the beach, a mile from the Junction (wonderful restaurants and stores), easy ride via car or water taxi into Seattle) and I know the next time we are in Seattle we will be staying there again. Janet and Roshon are the best hosts ever. We were fortunate to have met them in person and spent some quality time talking with them and getting to know them. They sincerely care about the well being of their guests, you just can't get any better. I've been using VRBO for my vacations for a long time and this one was the best ever.

Beautiful wheelchair accessible cottage

We stayed here for 2weeks after husband’s surgery. It was a delight. Beautiful garden view, very good light from many windows. Wheelchair accessible shower and handrails. Excellent location with easy walk to stores, movies, shops. Wonderful owner.

Best Host Great Location Fabulous Digs

This cottage was rented for visitors we hoped to encourage to move to Seattle. Since we rented this VRBO several times for different visitors, we obviously feel this is a fabulous place. Prior to booking, I viewed several VRBOs to assure the accommodation would give a favorable impression and this was the best one. The owner, Janet, was more than happy to answer my questions & allow me to see the place while some owners told me to read the reviews & view the online pictures. However, actually seeing a place provides additional information such as the immediate neighborhood (if our visitor wanted to walk around for an impression of West Seattle), the interior smell (dampness? fragrance?), ease of access (if our visitor might have any accessibility needs) and feeling of warmth while also having a lot of ambient light. The cottage is a detached, separate unit adjacent to the Owner’s home. But there were no noise or visual intrusions between the two. The cottage feels very private and is a great place to relax. It’s a pleasant 1 mile walk (~15-20 minutes) to the center of either Admiral Junction or Alaska Junction for a great selection of restaurants or a grocery store. Or, a downhill walk to Luna Park Café if a sumptuous breakfast is desired. Of course, with a vehicle all these are only 5 minutes away. Overall, the location, the neighborhood setting, the cottage & its amenities and the host are the very best!

beautiful and perfect for us

This spacious and beautifully appointed house is just what we needed. It's easily negotiable and accessible for my wheelchair-using husband, which was our first need. We didn't count on it being beautiful, airy, light, spacious, and very versatile: it is fully stocked for cooking and entertaining, has a artful screen/couch that hides the sleeping area and it's a great place to just hang out in and read or watch a movie. The front table was equipped with a manual including local eateries and with handouts of current events taking place in the area. The furniture is comfortable and beautiful, the towels are soft, the place is spotless, and the bed is soft. It's a jewel set in a lovely West Seattle neighborhood and Janet is a gracious, attentive host who gives you all the privacy you wish while helping if there are any questions. She made it easy for me to understand how to access the unit in advance, which could have been difficult on our arrival night with a lot of disability equipment in tow. Markets and eateries are .8 miles away, a 15-20 minute walk. I highly recommend this place for its beauty, utility, and excellent management.

Perfect Location

We stayed for 2 days at the water tower Cottage. Our favorite part was the location. Being in West Seattle gave us a wonderful view of the city, easy transportation via Water Taxi and multiple options for food and activities. The water tower provided an unexpected landmark, even across the water from Seattle we knew where we were staying. The Cottage itself couldn't have been more family-friendly or clean. It provided everything we needed for a short stay, and would have been just as sufficient for a long stay. I really appreciated the owners extra care to list events going on during the week we stayed. In a binder they also included personal recommendations on the local eats & activities. If I were to say anything negative I would add that the cottage isn't very private if that's the kind of thing you're looking for. But for us, the host home and grounds were park like and immaculate so being in such close proximity was welcomed. We had a great time in Seattle. Chosing the cottage to stay at helped make our trip almost effortless.

Cozy cottage in a fantastic neighborhood with the best host ever!!

This cottage was just perfect for our family of four! Very clean and well stocked. Janet is a fantastic host and so helpful with local restaurant and entertainment ideas. We really enjoyed spending a little time with Nathan for play time in the back yard. We have never met a more polite and socially advanced six year old. We loved this very quiet and safe neighborhood. The pull out couch has a blow up mattress topper and is extremely comfortable. Everything about this rental is great and we will return.

Cheerful Retreat in a Lively Community

We are big picture window people, so the Cottage is "gasp-out-loud" terrific, with windows lining three walls that overlook appealing outdoor scenery. Privacy is assured through good-quality venetian blinds on all of them, plus a tucked-away location within a well-buffered property. We don't always get to meet our VRBOwners, but ours was in "at home mom" mode when we were there. Janet is one of those naturally pleasant and easy-going people who leave you relaxed and smiling after your brief encounters. We loved the Cottage's open floor plan, handy kitchen area, generous table and desk space and beautiful gardens. The Cottage was clean and well-stocked. The shower stall, bed pillows and the motion-sensor trash can earn "best among the rest" awards! There's a lively commercial district, The Junction, near enough to walk to if you do hills, and the departure point by water taxi to center city is minutes away by car. Fun! Having West Seattle as a base out of which to enjoy the rest of Seattle was a smart choice for us; so was choosing The Cottage. Thank you for an excellent stay, Janet and Roshan!

It's a private property, situated well for being close enough to downtown without being right in it. If you are having surgery it is handicap accessible and a good place to recover. It is peaceful and all of the gardens and areas in our yard are wonderful to spend time to relax.
