Condo is fantastic location with a post-card view

I traveled to Hollywood, FL for a business trip and stayed at this condo at the Tides. I had stayed at the Tides before and knew the location is fantastic.The VIP check in option was a pleasant upgrade from previous stays at the Tides. The communication from the owner and caretaker was very prompt and helpful. I would encourage anyone looking for a place with an amazing view that is situated right on the beach to rent this unit. The online listing was totally accurate and the place was very nice. Oscar made the check in process doable, otherwise it's a little confusing but he was a great help! The view and beach are incredible.

BEAUTIFUL VIEW!

We enjoyed our stay in this beach front condo. The views were amazing and any issue we had was addressed. We really enjoyed the 4 brand new beach chairs. Other reviews stated mold being an issue. I have a son who is allergic to mold and he was completely unbothered. If mold was present he would have been a mess the entire 9 day rental. Additionally, we have stayed at The Tides a few other times and have never had a problem with the check-in process.

Excellent stay

We had a wonderful experience. From check in to check out. Oscar met us at check in and was extremely informative! The condo was clean and very comfortable. Location was great, have to use Uber to get around. Best part was the spectacular view from the ocean front balcony.

Disappointing overall

Must stress this is a condo/apt complex and not a hotel and as such there are no amenities. The unit is very dated with mold and very few essential items available. Items available for use are also old like the balcony chairs with tears. Nothing warm and inviting about this unit. 1 roll of extra toilet paper, no extra paper towels or even basic salt and pepper. If this is being rented as short term you should know that you cannot rely on what is in the unit. We booked clearly for the view but it’s not worth it. There are much newer and nicer facilities all around the tides buildings. This view is not worth the run down unit and the money charged. You are not allowed to use the front desk at all and they are also not very nice. We checked out and attempted to lay poolside. We were approached and asked to leave because our luggage was not allowed out at the pool. The front desk would not let us leave our luggage there for the two hours. We were then not allowed to use the restroom at the pool to change out of our swimsuits. Management contact and booking details were not clear the booking would be this way and have these restrictions. The business office on site is faux and doesn’t have any working computers or printers. I truly feel it was not made clear the restrictions that came with the property. We knew it was residential but didn’t know the extent of the rules. I think this should only be a long term rental and know must leave upon check out.

Amazing

The condo was clean and well-maintained, with all the essentials provided, which made our stay comfortable and hassle-free. The location is another major advantage, conveniently situated near popular attractions, making it easy to explore the best that the area has to offer. Terrible management

I Can say that the people helping with the check in were very kind however management is terrible , never have I ever experience a check in like this , you have to show up with the caretaker , pay 100 for 2 night parking pay $60 for a fob to be able to get into the building , wait to get wrist bands too and on top of that the condo was outdated and moldy , as soon as we open the door we could tell right away that it’s mold . The only good thing was the view Definitely not staying here again

Quick getaway

Everything was great and as described. Hosts are wonderful and responsive. Nothing related to the hosts, but the valet parking person that is a step in the process of getting in should not be in a customer position since he is not helpful. If we wouldn’t have run into him the whole experience would be perfect plus!

Great girls trip!

Overall we had a great stay! Our only complaints: the master bath toilet was leaky and a couple beach chairs were broken which we unfortunately didn’t notice until we already had them down at the beach. The owner assured me this was already taken care of for the next guests. I think it’s good for people to know you need a key fob for every 2 people, as we had to get 2 ($60, since there were 3 of us). We loved the view and the beds were very comfy. They also provided good quality beach towels. We enjoyed the place and would consider staying there again. Also have to recommend the pizza across the street 🙂

Family vacation

The view was spectacular. We felt safe. Close to restaurants and fun things to do. Beach and ocean was great. Pool was very good also. Cafe was a great option and very good. Condo had everything we needed. The laundry on each floor was nice. Oscar who helped us check in was great. The condo was a little worn down and could use some updating. The mattress in the master bedroom had a lot of stains which we noticed when we stripped the beds. Overall we were satisfied and would go again.

Great location.

The condo was comfortable and well equipped, we cooked a lot of our meals and had everything we needed. The view is amazing and access to the beach and pool was easy. Only con was charge for the fob that gets you into the building and beach etc. I feel it should be included; or at least, the $30 charge should include 2 fobs.

Best views and clean!

The view is the best around. Being on the 10th floor made the ocean view glorious. Balcony was the best spot for morning coffee and night time wine. Spacious and clean 2 bedroom condo. Bathroom, kitchen, and bedrooms were all really tidy and clean. Caretaker made it easy for the registration to receive the key fob and pool wristband for $30. We did not have a car - so we didn't need any of the extra costs for parking. Hallendale Beach area is close by and have fabulous restaurants. The Hollywood Broadwalk was really fun with the stores and food. Definitely going to book for next year's girls trip.
