Das Cedar Ridge Cottage ist ein charmantes Ferienhaus mit direktem Zugang zum 800 m langen Privatstrand am Michigansee. Der Strand ist leicht über eine Treppe erreichbar, die nur 200 Fuß vom Haus entfernt ist.

Dieses gemütliche und gut ausgestattete Haus eignet sich ideal für Familien und kleine Gruppen und verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss, zwei mit Queensize-Betten und ein drittes mit Etagenbett und großem Futon. Im Obergeschoss finden Sie ein Vollbad mit zwei Waschbecken sowie ein WC im ersten Stock. Das Haus ist mit Geschirrspüler, Mikrowelle, Gasherd, Waschmaschine und Trockner, mehreren Fernsehern und Highspeed-Internet ausgestattet. Die Gäste können vier separate überdachte Veranden (eine davon abgeschirmt), einen Essbereich im Freien mit Grill und eine Feuerstelle mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten genießen.

Möglichkeiten zur Entspannung und Erholung gibt es zuhauf. Genießen Sie diesen unberührten und ruhigen Strandabschnitt bei einem Spaziergang am Strand, beim Schwimmen oder Surfen im Wasser oder beim Sonnenbaden. Machen Sie nach einem wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang ein Lagerfeuer oder entspannen Sie sich auf einer der vielen Veranden. Bei regnerischem Wetter finden Sie zahlreiche Spiele, Rätsel, Videos und Bücher, die für Unterhaltung sorgen.

Das Haus liegt verkehrsgünstig zwischen Pentwater und Silver Lake. Innerhalb von 8 km können Sie in beide Richtungen zahlreiche Aktivitäten unternehmen. Das hübsche Dorf Pentwater bietet zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, Bootstouren, Festivals, erstklassige Strände und vieles mehr. In Silver Lake können Sie Ihre eigenen Offroad-Abenteuer in den berühmten Sanddünen erleben, den historischen Little Sable Lighthouse erkunden und die zahlreichen Vergnügungsparks und Erholungsgebiete der Region besuchen.

Great Getaway

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful house. We loved every minute! It truly had everything we needed and more! Our family loved everything…the fire pit, the deck outside to eat dinners and play games, the porches, the large kitchen table… we never felt like we were on top of each other. Lots of spots to play games as a family. But our favorite part was the location….that picturesque private beach! It definitely was the cherry on top! Thank you again for allowing us to stay. We will cherish the memories for years to come! And we look forward to returning again!

Lovely spacious cottage by Lake Michigan

We had a wonderful time at this beach cottage. It was very spacious with lots of outdoor seating and covered balconies. I especially liked the second floor screened in balcony where you could see the trees and feel the breeze. Everything was clean and comfortable. We loved how close it was to Lake Michigan. Tip for future guests: the closest community access stairs are quite steep but there a newly built staircase at the end of the road, just a short walk. There is no A/C but with fans and windows it was fine. Another tip: bring extra toilet paper, paper towels and face cloths, as there were not enough for 6 of us. The campfire was great and we even saw two deer during one evening campfire.

What a vacation!

Really fantastic family vacation! This property was more than we expected! We had some rain during our stay, but the house was very comfortable with plenty of games and movies to occupy us. But mostly the weather was wonderful and we enjoyed lots of beach time and big waves, then enjoyed bonfires and star gazing at night. We are a cooking family and the kitchen was also well stocked which was appreciated. We hope to return some day soon!

Bucket List Bungalow

It was on my bucket list to have all of my kids/family to go on vacation together. We had a wonderful time at the house, on the beach and enjoyed several activities in the close proximity. The cottage had plenty of room for 6 adults, 2 kids (ages 3 & 5) plus a little more room if you didn't want to sleep in the bedroom. We didn't realize there wasn't air conditioning until a few days before we arrived, but the weather was perfect. Extras we enjoyed, outside grill, fire pit, beach toys/umbrellas, and laundry equipment. Thank you for a great stay!

This place was everything the listing said and more. So close to Lake Michigan and tucked into a quiet neighborhood. The house was clean and it was one of the most well stocked kitchens we have stayed in. We are definitely saving this for future visits.

Sensational!

What a wonderful week we had! Our hosts were so accommodating and were quick to respond to anything we needed. We were so impressed by the amount of space we had. Lots of comfortable space inside and outside. The rooms are light and airy. The kitchen had everything we needed and the laundry room was an added bonus. Upstairs the beds are comfy with ceiling fans in each bedroom, plus an extra fan in each closet if you wanted a little more airflow. We had perfect weather with warm days and cool nights. We spent a lot of time on the front porch/deck and enjoyed a fire every night. We did bring our own firewood so that we didn’t need to replace any that was there. Be sure to check out the beach on Lake Michigan. The stairs down to the beach may be a bit too much for older folks, but if you can manage, you won’t be disappointed! The view is spectacular and although the water was a bit cold, it was totally worth it! The property’s location is just a short drive to Silver Lake. We had a blast on the Mac Wood’s Dune Ride and can’t wait to do it again! We also enjoyed beach time at the Silver Lake State Park with a magnificent view of the dunes and the water was warmer because the lake is only 16-18 feet deep at it’s deepest. We enjoyed the “best ever wings” at the Chicken Shack in Silver Lake. If you want to enjoy a delicious dinner al fresco, Gull Landing in Pentwater is just a short drive away. The outdoor dining is wonderful! Be sure to check out Hansen’s Market in Mears too.

Great Place!

Great place. My husband and I and three children ages 3,4, and 6 stayed for a week. We loved the private beach. The kids loved playing in the water and riding the waves. The stairway down to the beach is steep and long, but it was very doable for our crew. May be something to consider if stairs are a difficulty. The cottage was clean and very pretty. We enjoyed the porches, outdoor eating areas, and fire pit. Located near Silver Lake Sand Dunes, which was a neat place to explore. Would highly recommend this home and location in Michigan. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the opportunity!

Family summer vacation

We had a lovely stay at Ceder Ridge Cottage! It’s the perfect location, directly in between Pentwater and Silver Lake, and walking distance from the beautiful beach. We were pleasantly surprised with how well stocked the home was for guests with condiments, spices, dishes, board games and beach toys. The communication with the owner was excellent, Brent is very helpful and quick to respond. It was a wonderful vacation and we can’t wait to visit again!

Best rental cottage on Cedar Point

Bright, airy, and clean. Super convenient to a terrific stretch of beach. Private setting in a quiet neighborhood - no cottages on adjacent lots and a wooded area buffers the light traffic noise of N. Ridge Rd. Fantastic set-up. We would return, and I would recommend this cottage without hesitation.

Great getaway!

From before we left for our vacation all the way through to the time we left, Brent was a breeze to communicate with. We had 0 issues with the house and our stay. The house is cozy and quiet and had all the extras we needed to get by day-to-day. We were greeted with a beautiful bouquet of flowers on the kitchen table and a nice open and sunny place to relax for a few days. While there is no A/C, there are plenty of fans to utilize. The water pressure was great! (Not the same experience everywhere 😆). The cupboards were stocked with necessities and anything we needed otherwise was just a quick trip away. The deck box had beach supplies in it which made this mom happy since I didn't not pack any 🤦🏼‍♀️. Overall we had a great experience and it was a pleasure to work with Brent on our stay. The house was great, the beach was a perfect distance. The pictures do not do justice to how beautiful the house & beach are. It gives a middle of nowhere feel but only minutes from multiple cities. We had 4 adults & 4 children & we were all comfortable & had a very enjoyable stay!

Perfect!

This place was perfect for our fall family weekend. The house was even bigger and more beautiful than the pictures showed. There was plenty for room for each of us - we all loved having a balcony off our bedrooms. And the open kitchen, dining room and kitchen were such a nice place for us all to gather. We also enjoyed the fire pit in the yard. Brent was a very flexible and gracious host and responded very quickly to a few questions we had. The house is in such a great location, close to Silver Lake, Pentwater and Ludington but still feel very private and out of the way. Although it was a little chilly, we got to enjoy some time at the private beach, which was beautiful. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again in the future!
