Etwa 300 m von der Hauptstraße entfernt liegt mein Cottage inmitten eines 4 Hektar großen privaten Waldgebiets. Dieses 1.500 m² große Einfamilienhaus mit 2 Schlafzimmern bietet absolute Privatsphäre. 20 Fuß hohe Decken im gesamten 1. Stock. Wohn- / Essbereich, Pantryküche, Hauptschlafzimmer und Bad. Das Haus ist umgeben von dichten Wäldern mit wilden Truthähnen, Hirschen, Schildkröten und anderen Wildtieren. Es gibt auch einen kurzen Fußweg in den Wald, der zu meinem 600 Baum Zwergapfelbaum Obstgarten führt. Dies ist ein Einfamilienhaus und der Mieter ist ein einziger Bewohner. Es gibt einen Außengrill, eine Feuerstelle und eine Hängematte. Sollten die gewünschten Termine gesperrt sein, erkundigen Sie sich bitte trotzdem, da es gelegentlich zu Stornierungen kommt. Zwei Schlafzimmer bieten Platz für 4 Personen und ein zusätzliches Luftbett für zwei Personen. Mindestaufenthalt von zwei Nächten. Keine Partys. Mindestaufenthalt von zwei Nächten erforderlich.

Superb Stay!!

This most definitely was a 10/10 stay. Great communication, accuracy of the listing was on point. The cottage was incredibly comfortable, quiet, perfect for a relaxing get away. The host didn’t miss any detail! The grounds were beautiful. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this cottage!

A charming country cottage close to the city

This “cottage” is roomy, well-appointed, and sits within a large property. Gardeners will love the beautiful perennials that surround the house It’s easy to find and you are truly in the woods. But you are not! Bristol, Newport, Providence, are all short drives and there are many fine restaurants & attractions nearby. We spent our downtime relaxing in the comfortable living room and on the decks, enjoying the owners’ creative flair that is evident from the decor, art work and books. It boasts a well-equipped kitchen and many thanks for the thoughtful amenities the host provides. Highly recommended and we hope to visit again.

Family Getaway Adventure and Memories

The cottage is very cute and welcoming. The Host Gary thought of everything to meet anyone's needs. He is also very quick to respond to questions. Even a bowl of candy at the table. Grounds are beautiful and feels like you have the woods to yourself. My 27 year old son kept calling it a wizards house as he kept seeing new things and the lush greens surrounding it make it very special. Amazing seating areas outside. I was sorry our stay was only 2 nights so we didn't get to do alot of outdoor relaxing. The one challenge was bedding as we had seen three beds online and there were only two. But we worked around it. Beds are firm mattress so be aware of that if you need very soft mattress. The spiral staircase is unique to the downstairs basement it is pretty but narrow. Kitchen is fully stocked. We had a great night making pizza Saturday night. Friday night we had a delicious dinner at DeWolf Tavern thanks to Gary's suggestion. Also, we found The Icecream Farm amazing icecream!!! Even had grapenut which is rare. We had rain and thunderstorms both days, but great areas for family game night and a large tv. Outside fire place has a covering so nice to sit by fire in evening watching the rain. I recommend this adorable cottage for a great getaway.

Swansea weekend

The house was amazing! Anything that was needed was there plus so much more. The gardens and walkways as well as seating areas were so great. Weather wasn’t the best at times but so many outdoor areas to sit in despite the weather. Gary was so easy to communicate with. He offered several places to eat at. We enjoyed the ones that we tried. Will definitely go back again!!!

This cottage is a GEM

This cottage was a perfect location for all the places we wanted to see. It was in a secluded wooded area but still close to the highway. The check in and out was easy. The cottage had a warm welcoming feel and was very clean. I don't think you will find another VRBO that is as well stocked as this one. It had everything you could need .We enjoyed relaxing by the outside fireplace. Gary is quick to answer any questions you have or give recommendations for things to see. Highly recommend!!!

Weekend fetaway fir relaxation

This cozy cottage was perfect for the 4 of us ro get away for the weekend. Close enough to enjoy restaurants coffee and shopping. Yet extremely peivate nestled within a small Forrest atmosphere. Quiet and peaceful. I cannot say enough about the owner. He truly cares about your experience at his lovely cottage He gave us suggestions on dining and entertainment in the area and even emailed me to let mw know the upcoming forecast for my stay. It did n9t feel like we were borrowing someone's house. It was extremely welcoming. Honesty we cannot wait to stay again sometime soon.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting

A wonderful property, perfectly laid out for a couple or family, with tons of books and games and a fully stocked kitchen. It's privately located down a long driveway, surrounded by trees and flowers, with a hammock and outdoor fire area. Gary was responsive and helpful. I really wish we could have stayed longer!

Cozy, quiet, clean, private and well-appointed!!

Can't say enough about how nice this was. Feels like being in the middle of nowhere but it's 3 minutes from CVS, Dunkin, liquor store and less than 15 mins from Providence. Fall River and Newport were also quick drives. The kitchen has literally everything you could possibly need, plus a great gas range to cook on. Bed and bedding were very comfortable. Place was immaculate and handsomely decorated for the Christmas season. Everything functioned the way it was supposed to. Communications and instructions from Gary were prompt and thorough. Place looks like it would be even more fun in the spring or summer given how nice the outdoor space was set up. We will stay again!

Lovely Cottage in the Woods

This was the perfect cozy house for us. We stayed four nights. It was quiet, secluded and hidden from the main road. Yet it was 30 minutes from Rhode Island and other places of interest. Gary was a great host and provided suggestions on restaurants and history of Swansea. The house had everything we needed and more. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Family Weekend

Gary was great to deal with from the very beginning. He responded quickly to any questions and offered helpful information about the house, things to do in the area, and his recommendations for restaurants. The property and the house were amazing! The pictures do not do them justice. The house is more spacious than it looks in the photos. It is beautifully decorated and so comfortable and cozy. The kitchen, and the house in general, are extremely well stocked with anything you could possibly need- you can pack lightly because Gary has thought of everything! The house is in a lovely wooded area, but you are just minutes away from restaurants, shops, etc. Very close to Providence which has a lot to offer as well. I wish we had been able to stay longer! Thank you Gary for a wonderful family weekend getaway!

Wow!

I cannot emphasize enough how amazing this stay and experience was altogether - from the cottage itself to the host to the overall ambiance, everything was a 10 out of 10! This location is perfect for a secluded weekend getaway; the scenery was breathtaking, the cottage was so spacious (and completely stocked with anything and everything that we may have needed during our stay), and overall made for a beautiful, quiet, peaceful stay altogether. Gary is truly the most hospitable host I’ve ever encountered; he was always checking to make sure we were well accounted for, went above and beyond by providing household items, necessities, etc, and was so outstanding the entire time we were there! All in all, this was the most perfect stay we’ve had and we definitely plan to come back! Thank you so much for this experience!!

Peaceful Tranquility

This place was absolutely PERFECT! It is set back just enough to give you an isolated feeling, but it is still close enough to get to different places in no time. The house is well kept and very clean. Also, it is very well stocked. There were so many neat kitchen gadgets. I added some things to my list for my own home. The yard is peaceful and beautiful. The hammock was a nice place to take a nap. The orchard in the back of the property was worthy of daily walks to view it. We saw deer on the property, which was an added bonus. Gary was very responsive to text messages and very helpful in giving tips for the area. We totally loved our stay here and would stay here again in a heartbeat! If you are going to be in the area, stay here!
