Unsere Wohnung verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer, das Hauptschlafzimmer hat ein Kingsize-Bett, das zweite Schlafzimmer hat ein Etagenbett, das obere Stockwerk im Etagenbett hat ein Einzelbett (90x200cm) und das untere Stockwerk hat ein Kingsize-Bett (180x200 cm), so dass 3 Personen schlafen können im Etagenbett. Im Wohnzimmer haben wir ein sehr schönes Schlafsofa, wir können bei Bedarf auch ein klappbares Einzelbett im Wohnzimmer platzieren. Die Wohnung und das gesamte Gebäude wurden kürzlich renoviert. Wir haben einen privaten Parkplatz außerhalb / unter dem Gebäude. Wenn Sie Ausflüge planen, ist die Bushaltestelle Nummer 8 gleich gegenüber der Kirche Hallgrimskirkja.
Unsere Wohnung befindet sich direkt vor einer der beliebtesten Sehenswürdigkeiten Reykjavik, die Kirche Hallgrimskirkja. Einar Jonsson Sculpture Museum ist auch nur wenige Meter entfernt. Skólavörðustígur ist gleich um die Ecke. Dort gibt es einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen namens Krambúðin mit rund um die Uhr geöffneten Boutiquen, Restaurants und Bars. Nach unten Skolavordustigur gehen für wie 5-600 Meter, dann sind Sie in unserem Hauptstraße Laugavegur. Alles, was Reykjavik zu bieten hat, befindet sich in fußläufiger Entfernung von unserer Wohnung.

Tolle Ferienwohnung in super Lage.

Wohnung ist in sehr gutem Zustand, gut ausgestattet und war sehr sauber. Der Check in hat gut und unkompliziert geklappt. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Zu Fuß ist man in 5 bis 10 min auf den Einkaufsstraßen der Stadt und man blickt direkt auf die Hallgrimskirkja. Ein idealer Startpunkt um Reykjavik und seine Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erkunden. Sehr zu empfehlen.

GREAT location, comfortable, clean

This place was perfect for us - clean, comfortable, easy walking distance to all the local shops, restaurants and, of course, the beautiful Hallgrimskirkja was right across the street. Bus stop for sightseeing and airport transfer is right there. Hosts are responsive, provided detailed information about everything we needed. Highly recommend. Would LOVE to be there on New Year's Eve!

Location, location, location

The location of this apartment cannot be beat. We were there over the Christmas and New Year holiday and seeing all the fireworks at Halgrimskirka (sp) from our window was spectacular. It’s also great access to the main street of old Reykjavík. The apartment was clean, aside from the fridge. It looked clean, it just reeked a fish. It went away after a of couple days but it was pretty bad in the beginning. The other downside was that we rented a four-wheel-drive, which is what all the information online said to do, but the parking spot we were allocated didn’t fit a four-wheel-drive car. So we had to find parking on the street most days. That was a little frustrating. Lastly, there were several lightbulbs burnt out in the living room but despite there being very little daytime light outside that time of year, it wasn’t too troublesome. Kjartan was pretty good getting back to me quickly, more so when I was in country. Despite all of this, I would recommend this place. The things that bothered me were all little things and the location really is so great. The beds were great, everything felt clean and it was great for our family of 5. Absolutely loved Iceland.

A clean, quiet flat in a fantastic location with easy access to the heart of the capital

Our stay was lovely and the apartment was SO NICE. The kitchen was huge and everything was spotless. We had booked rather last minute for the busy tourist season and were worried we would be on the outskirts but this location is perfect. We couldn't have been happier with our host and the communication, either. This is definitely a 10/10.

As listed, close to everything!

Excellent accommodations and an easy 10 minute walk to BSI Terminal. Plenty of room for our group of four, teens really appreciated the TV! Kitchen was well equipped and meals were easily prepared. Street noise intermittent; cured with the kitchen vent fan for white noise. View could not be beat!

great home base for exploring Reykjavik and beyond

This property was delightful - well appointed, we had everything we needed. Beds were comfy, location was perfect. Kjartan was very communicative and getting into the property was easy (covered parking was a bonus!). Cafe Loki right next door is a delight - try the lamb shank or gratinated fish! Only small thing that could be improved is that the common areas (landings outside the apartments) could use a little cleaning. Apartment itself is top notch though!

Beautiful view of Hallgrímskirkja. Close to everything!

Great location across from Hallgrímskirkja. Convenient on-site covered parking. Secure building. Easy walk to shopping, grocery, restaurants and downtown activities. Couple of small maintenance issues with minimally operational windows in kitchen and living room. Shade in master bedroom non-functioning. Bedroom 2 bunk bed is best for kids. Beds are comfy. Apartment is very clean, but sparsely decorated. Kitchen very well equipped with all cookware and dishes you will need to make meals. Overall a good home base for families or group of friends.

Wonderful host, great location, amazing apartment!

The apartment is amazing! It is located in the heart of Reykjavik and is an easy walk to multiple tourist attractions. The apartment itself is very spacious with modern fixtures and furniture and is extremely clean. There is a dedicated washer and dryer for the apartment in the common laundry room, and detergent and dryer sheets are provided. The host is wonderful - he reached out to us prior to our arrival in Reykjavik and gave us clear instructions (with images in an email) on how to get in the building and into the apartment, and he was available for any questions we had. He even recommended a few things to do on the way to Reykjavik when we told him we were going to be coming from the Golden Circle. I would highly recommend this place and would love to stay again if we visit Iceland again.

Location, Location, Location

We could not have found a more perfect location for exploring Reykjavik and beyond! Literally across the street from Hallgrímskirkja Church and bus stop 8 which made for super easy access to buses/tour pickups. The church can be seen from almost anywhere in the city so that was our landmark for making it home after walking and exploring. Super clean, great bath with nice shower and plenty of hot water, kitchen met all our cooking needs. Kjartan was very easy to work with and answered all our questions. You can't go wrong with this apartment!!! **Tip for Americans: There is a "water tank" on the dryers(top left corner) that you will need to empty between loads or your clothes will never dry!**

A wonderful place with a wonderful view.

It's like having an amazing apartment with an amazing view! Obviously newly remolded and in great condition. Loki cafe is next door so you can start your day with traditional Icelandic food. The only caution I would add is that is is near a very busy intersection, so consider earplugs or a white noise on your phone or a fan so you don't awake. It's not loud, just busy.

Good - get the wifi and use google maps

Nice, clean good car at a great price. No hassle or presure to upgrade, even suggested to get wifi router for car which let us use google maps for nav AND saved us a ton on data roaming charges.

Great Location

The airbnb is in a great location! Walking distance to shops, restaurants and grocery store. The owner is responsive to my emails and questions. The owner is also very accomodating, allowing us to stay 1 more night due to the weather storm. The place is very clean, beds are comfortable.

Central Reykjavík Apartment

Perfect place for a family with 2 kids. Kjartan is super responsive. Apartment is in a great location right next to a tour bus stop and within walking distance of everything. Would definitely stay there again.

Great flat in central location in Reykjavik

Very nice flat although a bit cramped for 5-6 people (at least by North american standards). Great location; loved having the view of Hallgrimskirkja out the window; loved having Cafe Loki next door (try the Plokkfiskur :)), loved being able to walk to Laugarvegur in a few minutes. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location, clean and lots of space

This apartment was great for our family of 4. Perfect location to walk to restaurants, shops, and landmarks. Spacious living area to sit and relax after a day of touring and modern bathroom and kitchen. Off street parking was a bonus too!
