perfect getaway

The view was unbeatable. Great access to beach if you don't mind a steep, but very short, trail down to the sand. We are definitely going again.

Beautiful ocean views & sounds

I had a lovely time at this cozy home away from home. It was the perfect location for exploring the coast, north and south. It has the best views and hearing the ocean even with everything closed up was magical. Bonus American eagle nesting in tree about 10 feet from the driveway. Only about 3-5 min drive in either direction to beach access including Seal Rock with was my favorite spot to explore during low tide (starfish, sea anemones, shrimp, birds, etc). Great for working remotely also, though had to reset the Wifi daily which was no big deal. I feel very grateful and thankful!!! House could however use a spring deep clean and good power washing of lower deck before including table/chairs. There were lots of mouse droppings in the living room along the perimeter (thankfully vacuum was accessible). The lower deck is also VERY slippery when wet, and table/chairs were unusable due to mold/moss.

Weekend Retreat

We had a wonderfully relaxing weekend at this home. It was clean and well appointed. The views were out of this world! We really enjoyed watching a bald eagle fish in the water and fly overhead.

Ocean View

Huge windows with a view of the ocean from almost every room. Small house but very cozy. The only thing missing is beach access since the home is on a bluff.

Pictures don't lie...heaven on earth.

Most beautiful view of the ocean from this beautiful two-bedroom rental. Nicely landscaped and appointed for all your kitchen and other needs. Although this place is absolutely beautiful, and I would stay here again, I was surprised the neighboring houses and yards were in disrepair...one house only eight feet from the rental; however once inside, you don't notice anything but the gorgeous view of the pacific and the beautiful cozy rental with very comfortable beds. No issues with the neighbors though...they were very nice.

Comfortable and Clean

The accomodations and view were amazing. Our family appreciated that all of the linens were laundered in fragrance free soap. This can be a pretty big deal if someone in your family has skin allergies! While there is no "beach access" there is a nearby trail that takes you down to the beach. It is technical so would not be for those who have mobility challenges. It would be nice to use the patio furniture-not sure why it's off limits? Fortunately it was rainy so we didn't mind but I would definitely want to sit out there if the weather was nice. Overall, we were very pleased and would stay there again.

A gem of a find!

Beautifully updated oceanfront home!!! The panoramic windows gave a spectacular view of the coastline. Comfy beds, well stocked, fabulous taste on the update.

Ocean View is WOW

Great location, perfect for a weekend getaway. The house and appliances were very clean. The view of the ocean from the deck is fantastic. However, there is no beach access from the house.

We really enjoyed our stay. The views were amazing, the kitchen was supplied way above my expectations. We had planned on having at least one dinner in a restaurant, and we ended up eating at the house every night because it was so perfect.

Perfect small family/couples getaway

This was the best stay I’ve had with VRBO. House was as described and the views from the deck were amazing! My kids and I spent tons of time exploring around Ona beach and seal rock beaches. House is close enough to a town if needed, but we loved the privacy!! Would highly recommend this house and will be going back during the summer months!

Wonderful experience in Seal Rock, OR.

Beautiful home with plenty of afternoon sun, and views of the ocean and sunsets. The property was located near several state parks and was a short walk from a path to the beach. We definitely enjoyed our stay here!

Good location.

Cute cottage on the beach. Love the inside decor. It was in a nice spot out of town but close enough to run to town for groceries. Unfortunately we thought it had beach access and it doesn’t. We also were not able to use the bbq like we had hoped. Overall it was clean and comfortable.

We cant wait to go back!!!

Enchanting little cottage at the beach...just what we needed. Decorated with seaside warmth. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable. This house is all about the view and connecting with the ocean. There were a couple of items the kitchen lacked. A griddle pan for pancakes. Maybe a couple more sharp knives, and a strainer for pasta. Otherwise, very well appointed. Thank you for the lovely stay...We'll be seeing you again.

Clean and stocked!

Love the decorations and kitchen supplies in the home. The views were amazing and the house was nice to stay in for a week. The only downside, there's no view if you wanted to use the gas fireplace on the lower deck, there's no BBQ, and the beach is accessible by driving to the state park down the road (it's not walkable if you have kids/ pets).

Beautiful & Relaxing!

This house was perfect for my husband and I. We prefer to cook most of our meals and the space made it easy and beautiful at the same time. The views out the back windows are just what we imagined it would be. We heard the ocean the entire time and took in the relaxing cozy space. The location was great - we had easy access to Seal Rock, Ona Beach, South Beach & Newport. We even snuck in a few wine tastings in Corvallis & Salem! It was the perfect Oregon experience!!

Beautiful home in great location

This house is in a fabulous spot overlooking the beach. The house itself is terrific, and the pictures don't do it justice. We enjoyed our stay immensely and had everything we needed. We were also disappointed that the firepit was tucked away in the garage for our stay, even though I had specifically asked about it in an email beforehand. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was because of poor communication from the property management company. They were very difficult to reach, and we even had to stop by the office when we were unable to reach them by phone for a problem with the trash (thankfully we spotted the building while out driving). Also, several email messages have gone unanswered, even now. Didn't have any problems getting the check-in information at least. We would very likely stay here again since we loved everything about the house itself (except for the missing firepit).
