Entspannen Sie sich im River Respite @ Young Husband. Genießen Sie die schöne Flussfront und die weitläufige Aussicht auf die Landschaft, während Sie auf der großen Außentür Ihren Wein trinken oder Ihre Marshmallows an der großen Feuerstelle anstoßen und die herrlichen Klippen genießen.

Der Zugang zum Fluss befindet sich nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von der Vorderseite der Unterkunft entfernt. Ideal für alle Wassersportarten. Bitte informieren Sie uns, wenn Sie Boote oder Skier haben. Kanuverleih ist ebenfalls möglich!

River Respite liegt abseits von anderen Shack-Gruppen, wodurch Sie die Privatsphäre und Ruhe finden, die schwer zu finden ist. Beobachten Sie Ihre Kinder beim Spielen auf dem vorderen Rasen, während Sie ein Grillfest auf dem Grill zubereiten, oder sitzen Sie friedlich und beobachten Sie die Fülle der Vogelwelt vorbeifliegen.

River Respite ist ein besonderer Ort für Familien und Paare, die dem Chaos der Flussnutzung in der Hochsaison entfliehen möchten und dabei den Fluss genießen können.

Haustiere dürfen drinnen, aber nicht auf Möbeln. Bitte nach dem Hund aufräumen, z. Haare und Kacke. (Eigentum vollständig eingezäunt. Viehzäune verwendet. Kleinere Hunde können durchkommen oder Hunde, die gerne mit Zäunen springen. Bitte lassen Sie Hunde nicht unbeaufsichtigt in der Unterkunft

Bitte bringen Sie Ihre eigenen Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Handtücher, Geschirrtücher mit.
Kopfkissen und Bettdecken mit Bezügen. Bitte bringen Sie Ihre eigenen Kissen mit, wenn Sie mit diesen besonders sind.

Relaxing family retreat

Amazing location on a quiet area of the river. Our family enjoyed some down time at the property and had a great stay. Table Tennis was so much fun! The house had everything you need to keep the kids entertained and enjoy your stay We will stay again in the future (summer)

Peaceful relaxing

The shack was very clean with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay, we loved the spa and being able to look out over the river. Peaceful and relaxing and our little dog loved it too. Perfect Anniversary weekend

We stayed here for our anniversary and had such a wonderful weekend. The view of the river is just gorgeous and the spa made it extra special. We loved being able to bring the tinny and dogs. It is perfect little river shack, with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay. Our weekend went way too quickly.

Restful stay at the river

Loved our stay at this little river shack, comfortable beds and everything we needed for a great stay. The kids loved the table tennis table and we loved that we could keep the boat moored up at the jetty, it was a little bit hard trying to work out where we would keep the boat on the first night but great instructions left.

Perfect Getaway

Everything about this house was exactly what we’d hoped for - and more: Amazing views, brilliant outside entertainment area (spa - yeah!), comfortable beds, and all the amenities we could ask for, plus more - everything from 2 big fridges and a great quality washing machine, to those little things like sauces, sugar and dishwasher tablets. Hosts were lovely - really friendly and great communication. Would we stay there again? Absolutely!!!

Very relaxing

If you are after a relaxing few days, just chilling and watching the birds and boats go by then this is the place for you ! A homely shack like property with a great outside entertaining area and an amazing hot tub, enough grass and garden for the dogs and a private pontoon with kayaks a short walk away. We loved it ! Just a heads up for dog people the fencing could be better ;)

Amazing!

Loved everything about this holiday home. From the excellent communication with the host to the stunning location of this amazing property and everything in between. We could not have been happier. So clean and roomy enough for everyone but still very cosy! I was pleasantly surprised to see the mountains and cliffs behind the property and the river in front of the property. Such an amazing view on both sides. Negatives… if I had to be picky was that the little jetty was a bit further than expected (not in the backyard as I had envisioned from the photos etc) but still close enough. And the Wifi and reception was spotty and rarely available so be prepared to go off grid in that aspect but with so much to do at and around the home the peace and quiet was actually welcomed! Thanks so much for having us. We will stay again. :)

I have to agree with user Marta.M with this review

We stayed at this property in May 2021 for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We were quite shocked 3 days prior to our arrival the extensive list of rules that we were sent and the statement that there are security cameras on the property, this should be disclosed PRIOR to booking. We were a couple with 2 dogs but still very unnerving when you arrive with cameras pointing in every direction, which feels like they are watching your every move. The septic tank also overflowed on us within the first hours of arrival, so the excuse I have seen on Marta M’s review that there was too many people is BS, as we experienced this with just two people. We had a absolutely horrendous experience at this property. Checked in on the Friday and checked out by 10:30am the next day. We had feral cats harassing us and our dogs under the entertaining area all night, it is certainly not as advertised as ‘secure for dogs’, huge gaps under the fences. Smelling putrid sewage smell whilst you are trying to cook and enjoy the outside area is not good enough. Pictures are deceiving with river location also. Property is overpriced for what it is. Would not be writing this review if it wasn’t what I saw with the owners response to user Marta M, because we experienced the same issues and had the same response from the owners insinuating everything was our fault and they had never experienced these issues before. It took hours of non response from the owners once we left to finally PARTIALLY refund us for a ruined getaway for our anniversary. Beware before you book!

Great spot on the river

We had a great little river weekend get away with a couple of friends. The house was very tidy and well styled with a modern kitchen and a great outside decked area. There is a small walk across the road to the beautifuly kept grass area with the floating pontoon and river access. ( just be aware you need to launch your boat at the public boat ramp a couple of minutes down the road) Overall a great place to stay and an affordable option for a great river getaway, would definitely recommend it and would love to stay again. 😊

Awesome get away

My partner, our 2 best friends & I had a wonderful stay at this location for 2x nights. After a very terrible few weeks it was the perfect get-away spot to relax, recharge and soak up the beauty that is the Murray River at Younghusband. The property was nice & tidy, beds were comfortable and the supply of dvds, cooking utensils and riverside essentials were so greatly appreciated. We ran out of time too quickly to use the supplied canoes but we would love to return again soon for take 2! Thankyou for having us Chris & Georgina!

Very Stressful stay - disappointing experience

Being watched / observed on the cameras without my consent and instructed by the owner what to do with messages sent by the owner at midnight. Being accused of taking with us 2 cushions and one old blanket. Owner charged as additional amount on the top of payed rate which we payed for three nights. Being accused of damaging the lawn, at the front, which is not true. Being accused of overusing the toilet and apparently the septic tank overflow. Being accused of taking wood for fire pit from another property. Being accused of using private ramp for our boat. Being accused of checking out late. The agreement was 12 noon. Have a evidence for all of this. The description of the property on stayz wasn’t accurate as the jetty was located opposite the road, down the river around 300 m, which was very difficult with kids as not safe. I personally travel a lot and never experienced similar situation. All together very disappointed. I never give negative feedback but this stay was really stressful and worth not money we payed for.
