Perfect family holiday

This property was perfect for a large family, and had so much to entertain the young kids to the grown up kids. The perfect spot to swim, fish, kayak, or just sit and watch the dolphins. We loved our beautiful family holiday.

Reviewer Comments: I recently stayed in the Hastings Riverside holiday home to spend time with my children and their partners and my three 6 year old granddaughters having their first school holiday trip. The ability to walk straight outside and go fishing in the river was their favourite pastime (when they weren't paddling in the water or making sandcastles). They also loved to sit on the balcony and watch the carboat (ferry) go back and forth. The house is in a perfect secluded location with minimal traffic and noise, but is also handy to all of Port Macquarie facilities and activities. It was an amazing couple of weeks. The house is well facilitated and has the right amount of holiday house feel. I would totally recommend it to anyone wishing for a real getaway without being too far away from all the shops and restaurants.

Beautiful and peaceful

I am reluctant to write a review about this place because I wanted to keep it to myself. Loved it here, great house, great location, I was hesitant about the ferry crossing, it wasn’t a problem because we didn’t want to leave the house. We will be back, best week ever, helped by pretty good weather. Loved our stay, thank you!

Reviewer Comments: It was the most relaxing hoilday I have been on with my family of 10 so far we go on 2 holidays a year and they all said it's our new go to place it was clean comfy homley and peaceful the stuff were very helpful the water is your back yard with dolphins and fish the boat hire place is across the way was cheap very happy will be returning the only bad thing I could even say about it all was it didn't have enough deep dishes to put in oven and it only had 1 big pot when your cooking for 10 it was a bit inconvenient but I just went to shop and brought one

Location Perfect, House needs TLC

Great Location. Kitchen a little worn. Two Slice toaster with 10 people doesn’t work. Bathroom down stairs needs a good clean, water pressure a dribble if upstairs shower in use. Cleaner needs to do a better job. Toilet seat incorrect size in bathroom This house could be a stunner if it had regular maintenance and some TLC. Bunks squeaky Sliding doors hard to open and fly wire needs fixing. Bathroom shower taps need new washers. Air conditioners in the other bedrooms would be great. Fans supplied but don’t think they would be much good on really hot nights. Factor in the one way Ferry ride at $8 and if you stay for 7 days get a weekly ticket for $45. The main bedroom has three wardrobe doors but two are locked. Perhaps put in a lockable cupboard in the room next to the laundry. Don’t let my review put you off. Hopefully the owners will fix the minor issues to make this house the perfect spot.

Amazing house very homey

Absolutely loved our stay . The neighbours made us feel uncomfortable at times but besides that it was amazing and so much better for my children who have several speacial needs. So parks are abit much. The only thing I would complain about the house is the water pressure in showers otherwise it's amazing and has everything U need or want . Definitely recommend especially for anyone who has speacial needs children who need a more calming Environment

nice place to stay

we stayed for 2 weeks,(4 adults 2 children) location was good, house had ample space,furniture, fixtures & fittings was excellent.did have some minor problems but this was quickly sorted out by the friendly host & the staff(dianne) of wiseberry real estate.communication was exceptional.
