Great house and location

We really enjoyed our stay . House was really comfortable everything we needed was available there . Nice outdoor faculties , really enjoyed the dining area . The dog loved the large back garden . I would recommend the Mulberry Tree to anyone staying in KIngscote , its so close to all the shops , restaurants and Jetty .

Exceeded our expectations

Mulberry Tree has everything you could possibly need for a beach holiday that you may have forgotten to bring! Great place to unwind after beaches and/or touring with a yard for the kids to kick a ball in and pick some mulberries for dessert and plentiful other facilities.

A fantastic house to use as a base for exploring Kangaroo Island. The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location was great - walkable to shops and the tidal pool.

Perfect Mulberry Cottage.

Mulberry Cottage helped us have a wonderful stay on KI. The house was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and had lots of little extras to help us feel at home. The location in Kingscote is ideal as a base to explore the island.

Amazing, Great Location.

Great place to stay. Everything in Kingscote was within walking distance, cafes shops pubs. Online listing was spot on. Stayed for 7 nights and still wasn't long enough to see everything. Might have to #BookThemOut again.

Mulberry Tree Cottage was a great place to visit. Everything you needed was available and, even though the weather was cool, the house was easy to heat. There were some nice touches provided by our hosts, like a few staples in the kitchen, bath salts in the bathroom and access to Netflix was a real perk. We would stay again.

Great place 9.5/10

The house was beautifully decorated. Just rock up with your clothes and food everything else you need is supplied, loved staying here. Attention to detail was excellent. The house was spacious with a large back yard. Only one complaint, the floor boards were noisy, very hard to walk around the front part of the house quietly, but it is an older house. Definitely recommend this place.

Visiting Kangaroo Island for the first time

We loved the Mulberry Tree house. The house is roomy and modern, yet cozy and very welcoming. There is nothing at all to fault, the amenities were great, the Wi-Fi worked well, the host supplied the essentials. The house is walking distance to the town center and shops, and communication with the host was excellent. One of our very favourite stays in South Australia. Thank you to the hosts!

Looks better than the photos. Will definitely come back again. Well stocked for things to do for the children. Stayed for a week. Beds were comfortable and beautiful and homey. Kitchen was very user friendly. Close to shops and the beach. This holiday was one of my beautiful memories that I will cherish. Thank you.

Far exceeded my expectations!

Don’t hesitate to book this lovely rental for your next stay in Kingscote! My family and I had the most wonderful time for a two night stay on Kangaroo Island. The location is just a short walk into town and served as the perfect homebase as we explored the island. The home is beautifully decorated and has everything you could need during your stay. The covered deck and enclosed dining space were highlights. We loved spending evenings out there watching our dog have her run of the enormous grassy backyard. I look forward to staying again during our next visit to KI!

Kangaroo Island long weekend

Mulberry Tree is a great location for six adults or children or any combination of the above to stay. Large rear yard is securely fenced and flat mown lawn (complete) with mulberry tree making a safe place for children. The property is within walking distance of main street and seafront as advertised, It has many convenient features for adult guests including Nespresso machine, dishwasher, terrific covered dining area and other mod cons, but also small touches like extra pots and pans for the "Master Chef" in the group, and plates and cutlery for toddlers. Our group of somewhat particular Gen X ers thought it was one of the best appointed short-stay accommodation venues we had booked. Highly recommended.

Beautiful house

We stayed for 5 nights to explore KI and we loved the house. Large backyard with herb patch and swing hanging from the mulberry tree was a delight for my little one. Loads of toys, board games for entertainment. The pantry was very well stocked, in fact, I don't think we've stayed at any accommodations providing us with so much stuff! Lovely communication by the owners Darren and Steph. Check-in was a breeze too. Overall we will come back to stay if we visit KI again. Thanks for such a pleasant stay!

So nice, we stayed longer

Steph and Darren have presented a beautiful property with everything you could need in a home away from home. It is well positioned and easy to get too and large enough to cater for many more than the two of us. Our little puppy loved the huge backyard with lots of room for her to run around and play. The hosts gave very clear instructions on how to gain entry to the property, what was available for use and what was expected from guests. We decided to stay longer and we’re lucky enough to be able to extend our stay without any issues. Definitely visiting the Mulberry Tree again and bringing the extended family with us next time.

Mulberry Surprise

Had a great stay at the Mulberry property with my husband, child and in laws. The property was clean, tidy and made us feel soooooo relaxed. The door code was easy to use - made carrying keys null and void. There were so many added extras - I think all we used was the coffee though due to small addiction!! Not sure if my in laws brought the fruit? We packed it up for them when they left as did not know if it was theirs or yours! Apologies if it was the properties! The owners were very quick to respond to texts. My daughter loved the bird mural. Would stay here again. Felicity
