Awesome place! Can't wait to come back!

My family and I just returned from an eight day stay at this property. The property was extremely clean, was stocked with everything we needed, and was located in a quiet neighborhood close to several beaches. Angie was absolutely wonderful to work with and quickly answered any questions/concerns that we had. The house was spacious and there was plenty of space outside for everyone to enjoy the lanai area with the pool and spa. If you're looking to hunt for shark teeth, this house is in a perfect location. In less than 15 minutes, you can enjoy Nokomis, Venice, Manasota, and Englewood beaches. We typically visit the Venice area several times per year and this property will be the first one we look for when we book our next trip. Thank you to the property owners and Angie for such a great property!

The House was amazing inside and out. Location to multiple beaches and restaurants perfect! The house manager was so lovely, she text me with multiple food recommendations. Wish we couldstay longer!

We loved the pool. And the whole place.

Had a nice stay. Used as a good home base to enjoy the area beaches and activities. Would love to stay there again. Many beach supplies and toys and bikes. Everything was in good shape.

Wonderful week in Florida

Six of us stayed at this property and it was paradise. Very quiet neighborhood and so easy to navigate around. We visited a new beach every day and they were all within a 15-20 minute drive from the house. This is our second time at this property. Great communication with the property manager. Can't wait to return.

Just as beautiful as the pictures!

This was the first House we have rented for vacation. We typically do Condos. This home was clean and had everything we needed except food. Loved, loved, loved the pool and spa. Had plenty of towels, beach chairs, toys for the pool and for the beach. Several beaches close by and good restaurants too.

A wonderful stay in Venice!

My daughter and I vacationed in Venice in early January. This property is absolutely beautiful. We loved the pool and the hot tub and we were in both multiple times a day. The home is so inviting and had everything we needed for our week. It was super clean and the space is perfectly laid out. It was so easy to relax here! We went to the beach every day and collected shark teeth, and we took advantage of seeing some of the local sites. I highly highly recommend this house! Our host, Angie, was very accommodating to our schedule, and was so responsive. She was great! We will definitely come back!

Very relaxing!

It was so nice to have the pool / spa, outdoor dining / relaxing area, and garage on this trip! We are a family of 5 and everyone had their own personal space which is a must. We enjoyed the short drives to multiple beaches and appreciated the proximity to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Outdoor space felt very private even though it's in a neighborhood which was great. Great experience!

This house was amazing! The neighborhood (as you drive through) was a mix of proud property owners and some who just "live" there—many restaurants around to choose from. Everyone in Venice was warm and welcoming. We were delighted with our stay and the home itself.

We absolutely loved this house! Very cozy house with a peaceful, quiet, and relaxing atmosphere that’s within a close driving distances to beaches and a park. The house was clean and looked as advertised. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful as well! We also loved the pool and felt very secure with all of the security measures put in place given we have a 5 year old who can’t swim well.

Wonderful family home

We absolutely loved staying here! The location was within approximately 15 minutes of anything we needed including restaurants, shops, and beaches. I would highly recommend this home for family trips. Our youngest is 3 years old and we felt very comfortable with the alarms, the fence for the pool, and the deadbolts and latches that she was unable to figure out. The shower and the master bedroom was very easy for my mother to utilize since it is walk-in. The beds were comfortable and the furniture was comfortable as well in other parts of the house. It was tastefully decorated and very clean when we walked in. Everything we needed was provided for by Angie. Speaking of Angie, she was very easy to communicate with and addressed any concerns right away. There was an issue with the air conditioner and she was right out to fix it so we would be comfortable even though it was close to midnight. That was exceptional customer service! The only issues we had was the remote for the spa--we had to borrow batteries from our car keys in order to make that work, there were no cleaning supplies so we had to buy all of that as well. My concerns would be the cleaning fee that we paid but according to the departure instructions we were basically in charge of cleaning the whole house except for two loads of laundry. I've never encountered this before when using VRBO or other applications that are similar to this one. It did not make check out easy when we all needed to bathe and get ready to go to the airport but do all the laundry, the vacuuming, dishes, cleaning etc. I would recommend in the future having a guest start a load of laundry rather than put an amount of laundry that can be left. Also, I would recommend that guests start the dishwasher, but not empty it. We encountered many, many dirty dishes and had to rewash them in order to use them. A cleaner wouldn't have logged at that since they were already put away so that's at no fault except the previous guests. Outside of that, it was a remarkable stay!

Great house! Close to everything

The house was set up perfect for us and our four teenagers. The pool and spa were awesome! We only had to drive 10 minutes to lots of different beaches. We will definitely rent this house again.

We had unforgettable stay

Everything was amazing! Checking in was easy, property management was quick replying, we didn’t have any issues during our stay. The property was exactly as listed, the water was warm in both pool and spa, the house has EVERYTHING you will possibly need. Suitable for kids and not to worry about anything. Very private and nicely furnished! We defiantly recommend this place

Fall Gulf Escape

We had not been to the Gulf side of Florida before this trip. The whole week was fantastic. While temps back home were way cooler, we enjoyed balmy 80-85 plus degree days and 70-ish degree nights. The Gulf of Mexico coast was breathtaking. The private ferry was so charming. The house is absolutely lovely. The pool was great during the day and the hot tub made the cooler nights perfect. We slept incredibly well in the comfy master bedroom. The whole house is so well appointed and comfortable. We loved our time at 1224 Palmetto Drive and we would happily stay there again!! Grocery stores and more are all within a few miles of the home. Thanks Angie and Gary for a wonderful week!! Annabet

Highly recommend staying here!

What a beautiful home. Spotlessly clean with every amenity we could have needed, including all linens and beach towels. Lovely beach feel with lots of decor and tropical colors. The pool and hot tub were used many times a day. Close to all of the beaches. Property owners were highly responsive to all requests and inquiries. We’ll definitely stay again.

Great little home for a family vacation

We enjoyed staying at this house so much last year, we booked this property again. The only thing different this year was the red tide. Lucky for us, this home has an amazing pool so we were still able to enjoy our vacation uninterrupted. We will definitely be back again!
