Die Berowra Waters Cottage ist eine nette, hübsche Häuschen mit zwei Schlafzimmern direkt am Wasser befindet sich rechts unten. Mit riesigen Schiebefenster im Wohnbereich und Fenster direkt auf der Vorderseite des Hauses, fühlt man sich wirklich wie ein Teil des Flusses sind und gibt Ihnen das Gefühl, dass Sie in einem Boot auf dem Wasser.

Die Hütte bietet im Winter Sonne den ganzen Tag lang und mit einem hohen Dach, Sommerzeit im Haus ist cool. Deckenventilatoren und Klimaanlage zur Verfügung steht während der Sommerzeit zu unterstützen. Im Winter hat das Haus eine ausgezeichnete Heizoptionen und mit den ganzen Tag Wintersonne, die Hütte bleibt warm und gemütlich.

Der private Ponton an der Vorderseite des Hauses ermöglicht es Ihnen, direkt zu fischen und schwimmen weg von der Front. Kajaks, stehen ein Up Paddle Board (SUP) und eine blecherne können Sie den Fluss erkunden. Angelruten sind für die Nutzung als auch zur Verfügung. Es gibt einen privaten Schaukel die vor dem Grundstück Vertäuung, wenn Sie Ihr Boot mitbringen möchten, sowie die Möglichkeit, kleinere Boote auf dem Ponton zu setzen.

Die Berowra Waters Cottage verfügt über einen schönen Bereich außerhalb der Vorderseite auf dem Grundstück komplett mit Tisch und Stühlen, Grill und Gasheizung, ideal für Mahlzeiten im Freien und genießen die atemberaubende Aussicht auf den Fluss.

Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über einen Balkon und bietet eine hervorragende Aussicht auf den Fluss. Das zweite Schlafzimmer bietet einen Blick auf den Fluss vom Bett aus und mit nur wenigen Stufen zu diesem Gebäude ist es ideal für Gäste, die einen einfachen Zugang suchen.

Great & unique waterside stay

Definitely a very unique experience staying by the waters, with commute around the area via tinny. Sue was an amazing host and made sure we felt comfortable and welcomed throughout our stay with clear instructions on how we should manage the different experiences.

Wonderful and Relaxing

We recently stayed for five nights and had been looking forward to really relaxing and being lazy.....and it was perfect! The property was exactly as it how it was depicted....it was just wonderful to wake up and have breakfast right on the water every morning. The only noise were the sounds of the sea planes coming and going at Berowra Waters Inn just round the corner and the lapping of the water as boats passed. We brought some of our own supplies - food, toiletries - and found that we only really needed to bring any snacks and dinner as breakfast was supplied and there was shampoo and everything that you would need provided. It truly is a magical place and Sue, the lovely manager, eased any worries about things like starting the boat and is on hand at any time. She's just terrific. We will definitely be returning but will not be as lazy next time and will actually use the boat and the paddle boards and leave the place! I would recommend staying here to really relax. We were very lucky to be able to bring our little foxy with us and she also enjoyed just lying around and chasing the occasional lizard. My husband has footballer knees which need to be seen to but he managed the few stairs at the front, only to grab a beer/refreshment to return to the pontoon, which he hardly left, to continue fishing and the occasional paddle in the river. We had a really great time and shall be back....

We had a lovely stay at Berowra waters cottage. From the comprehensive communication with Sue to the lovely warm welcome from Ken. The kids delighted in the kayaks and the river. We loved the waters views and the comfy beds. Such a great short stay oasis.

Unique location

Great spot. Owner provides fishing gear, kayaks, tinny and SUP which is really appreciated during the stay. Continental breakfast is also a welcome plus. The place is in a bit of a state of disrepair in areas (top floor is out of bounds due to collapsing floor) so only one one bedroom is available...unfortunately, it is the one with a very small double bed (bit to squeezy for two 50 year olds so i slept on the couch). My only true criticism of the place was the cleanliness. It was not very good - spiders and cobwebs everywhere, food splatters on walls, stove top dirty, food left in oven, tables with food and drink remnants, sheets were clean but stained. But overall, the location and the big sliding windows are what will make you come back!

Location excellent, property needs some attention

This is our second stay at Berowra Waters at a property managed by Sue. Sue does an amazing job: she is responsive, helpful, and makes everything easy. On our previous stay, the accommodation was faultless. However, the condition of The Cottage fell short of expectations. Our immediate concern was day-to-day cleaning, which we addressed ourselves, and shared this feedback with Sue at the time, and we understand the challenges of the busy Christmas season. However, there is also the issue of the accumulation of "stuff" throughout the property. The area under the balcony stored deflated paddle boards, their usability uncertain. The front entry presented an array of clutter, including fishing and cleaning and paddling gear that needs a thorough decluttering to retain only what is useful and in good condition. An alcove off the main bedroom, not shown in photos, housed surplus furniture. The kitchen rug requires replacement, ideally with a washable one. The living room rug felt unclean, and old fabric lamps were full of dust. We couldn't use upstairs master bedroom as the sliding doors were difficult to open, and the absence of flyscreens hindered night time ventilation. The downstairs bedroom was also without flyscreens, but at least it had aircon. However I want to to acknowledge positive aspects. The location's beauty, Sue's management, and the pet-friendly policy are undeniable strengths. I hope that this review serves as constructive feedback for the owners.

Amazing location!

Had a very relaxing weekend away on the Cottage! Stunning location, right on the water so you can relax with the sound of water lapping up against the property and plenty of birds chirping away! Lots of things to do or just chill with a book. Highly recommend.

Thank you for being dog friendly!

My husband and I had a brilliant weekend at this property celebrating our first wedding anniversary. It was really special to be able to bring our 12 year old small dog with us, and the novelty of the house being only accessible by boat was quite fun! Sue was wonderful and offered us a late self-check out which was fantastic. There are some steep stairs and it didn’t strike me as the most disabled-friendly or toddler-friendly property, but the house is very well stocked with everything you could need - aircon, fans, fast wifi, foxel & netflix, hairdryer, microwave, dishwasher, board games, lovely modern bathroom, kayaks and of course the tinny! The views were breathtaking, even despite the river water being brown from recent floods and a bit of rain on our last day. It felt incredibly soothing to be able to see the water from every room in the house and seemed like we were a million miles away from Sydney. Our stay was an absolute delight and we’d love to visit again soon! Thank you Sue!

A very special place

From the moment we set foot on the pontoon and in the front door, we knew we had chosen the right place. Unbeatable outlook from the large front windows, convenient location only minutes from the marina (by boat or kayak). Some of the other reviews comparing the outlook to a houseboat are perfectly descriptive. It is like sitting at the window of a river cruise and watching the world go by. Very relaxing on the rainy stormy days we had. The 4 single kayaks are functional, sit on top plastics. Stable, easy to use, though not fast. Perfect for fishing and exploring some of the bays. The included tinny adds another level of mobility. The rooms are small but again functional. As has been desribed the stairs to the upper bedroom are narrow and steep, similar to those on small boats. Checkin with Sue was fantastic. Pick up from the marina. Orientation including how to use the tinny, then off you go. We would happily go back again and can highly recommend this as a quiet location for a bit of post CoVid relaxation and getting away.

So near but seems so far

Great location: ambience of remoteness and serenity and yet only a short tinny ride to the marina & shops etc. Boat access only to the property but tinny, kayaks and paddleboard supplied along with demonstration of how to use the tinny. Amazing amenities (fridge, dishwasher, cooker etc.) considering the location. May not be suitable for small children as next to the water (although fenced) and steep stairs to master bedroom. Overall, a great place to get away from it all despite the proximity to Sydney.

Idyllic location. Nice house with everything you need. Great fishing from our own wharf. Great place to get away yet so close. Dont miss the oysters at the local Italian. Sue is a great host.

How's the serenity...

What a lovely place this is. After three days we were ready to leave the city behind and commit to river life! The cottage is really lovely and well fitted out and the addition of the tinny was such a bonus - we are missing Jack (the tinny) already! Sue is a lovely host; nothing is too much trouble and we always felt she was there for us should we need anything. We will see you again soon!
