Beautiful Cabin

We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary, and had a wonderful time. Very clean, well organized, and we can't wait to come back! The fireplaces were cozy and efficient, management was very responsive, and overall it was a great stay!

Loved it!

Everything was absolutely perfect. The cabin was cozy, and all the little touches made it feel like home. From the cozy blankets drapes on the back of the couch ready to snuggle in to the gas fireplace heaters to the wall hangings.

Great Stay!

Had a great stay. Cabin is cozy and well stocked. Wi-fi worked well. Plenty of room to hang out and visit with family. Would definitely recommend this property. We probably will be back for another visit next year!

Annual Girls Trip

My friends and I do an annual girls trip and this year was amazing! This cabin was perfect for the four of us. The hot tub was perfect and view was beautiful, wrap around porch was perfect for meals, the garden had several spots to sit and enjoy company and a few drinks. Evenings were spent in the garage playing pool and air hockey. Applehill was only a few minutes away and the weather was perfect all weekend! Perfect retreat for four nurses just needing to get away! Thank you we will be back!

Spring 2024

As it turned out, husband, teen grandson and I spent most of our stay at the cabin itself. My first impression upon entering was how absolutely warm and inviting it was. Our host had the gas fireplace going and even a nice bottle of wine waiting. One of the owners greeted us with homemade jam too! If we return to Pollock Pines, we'll definitely be booking this cabin.

Beautiful cabin in serene surroundings

I went back to see family in Calfornia over Father's Day week. The cabin was beautiful, the decor was serene and in great taste. The grounds were beautiful and the cool fresh air mingling with the scent of pine trees was so relaxing! They took great care in making sure everything was provided for our stay. We went to the lake and hiked around the area, we sat in and watched movies, read, barbecued, and enjoyed the hottub. My adult children enjoyed foosball and pool. There was so much to do and all in a welcoming environment. I would highly recommend Amber's Cabin and hope to stay again in the future.

Girls weekend

This cabin is just perfect. The living room has the best feel with the windows big to see out during the day. Loved the fireplace heater and rooms were great. Rec room is fun . Everything you need is there and store is nearby for groceries. Cabin has all the nice touches and very comfy . We cooked alot and noticed maybe the kitchen couid use some bigger skillet or cooking pan but we brought one . The outside grounds are beautiful and having the fenced dog run was so nice to have. This may be our new spot for our yearly trip !!

Wedding prep and after stay at the cabin

The property was fabulous. The woods were beautiful and the cabin was so well stocked for every need. The kids and groomsmen loved the fire stove, hot tub and game room. It was so comfortable and welcoming and the host was very understanding of our situation. It was a great stay, and I would recommend it for any family who would be staying in that area.

Awesome Birthday Weekemnd

This property was awesome.I had a great birthday weekend with a couple of friends it was nice and quiet even though I seen how close it was to the road and I was thinking oh no, but despite that it was nice and peaceful and was very quiet. I spend my mornings in the hot tub no jets running just enjoying the silence. We even spent some time around the fire pit. The property was clean the layout was cool the pool table was a plus we had a couple of tournaments. I love the fact that it was close to the grocery stores we even took walks to the store, it’s just a awesome vacation rental all around. Definitely coming back and bringing a good friend who deserves this peaceful place I didn’t have a dog with me this time but I like the fact that there is a gated place for the dog to be so all around two thumbs up best hot tub of every rental that I’ve been in.😊👍🏾👍🏾❤️

The moment we enter to the last step out, it was an incredible cabin to stay for the weekend. Beautiful cabin!

We had a wonderful getaway here and would love to come back! Everything is very clean and comfortable, and the house is very well stocked, with plenty of extra bedding and kitchen tools / basics. The game room and the hot tub made it really special and fun for kids. We'd highly recommend it!

Wonderful!

We had an amazing stay! The cabin is very cozy and the hosts thought through every detail! Lots of very nice touches : basket of snacks, all the toiletries, labels for everything and instructions for everything to make the stay easy. The cabin has everything you need for your stay! We enjoyed the hot tub - it’s clean and well-maintained! Kids enjoyed playing in the yard. The area is beautiful, with a lake near by. A nice snow park is about 40 min away. Perfect place to get grounded

We had a moms gathering for deep rest and reconnection. The cabin was just perfect, a beautiful and comfortable home with lots of extra lovely touches, including being greeted with a few bottles of wine and a lovely welcome note. . The hot tub, trees, and view of the star-filled sky made it an ideal place to feel truly relaxed after a rough couple of Covid years. The folks at Evolve are wonderful hosts!

Just what we needed

We rented this property for a week in July. It was perfect! We came as a family of eight….5 adults and 3 children. The game room was perfect for some rowdy games of air hockey and pool. The hot tub was used by us every day. Most important was we created family memories that will last a lifetime and that in itself is priceless. Thank you Janet and Emily for sharing your beautiful cabin!! We will be back.

Very clean and awesome looking cabin. Loved having a hot tub.

We were here for our son's wedding so we didn't get to take full advantage of the property because of how busy we were. I wished I would have had more time to bum around the beautiful property, play pool, and have a BBQ on the deck. We did enjoy the hot tub and the house was wonderfully decorated and comfortable!

Above and beyond my expectations!

Everything about our stay was perfect. The property is beautifully maintained and adorably decorated. No detail has been missed! We were a group of 4 kids and 4 moms and it was exactly the amount of space needed. The game room and sleeping area above was such a bonus and well used by our pre-teens. The location is spectacular. Wonderful homes to walk by and enjoy, plus the lake is so close for hiking and swimming. It was also a quick trip to Apple Hill. I highly recommend for all ages!

Cozy Getaway For a Family of Four

We (family of 4; kids ages 8 & 10, plus a dog) stayed at Amber Cabin for 4 nights as the final stop of a longer trip. We wanted a place where we could relax but also work remotely and allow the kids to do their distance learning. We were worried about the internet connection but it actually held up pretty well for all 4 of us. We took full advantage of the hot tub and game room. The separate garage with game room and beds was a huge bonus for us; the kids loved it and it gave us moments of quiet time. Note for others: this house is great for close families or friends, but I wouldn't recommend it if people need privacy. The detached garage bedroom does not have a bathroom, and if those staying there need to use a bathroom they have to go into the other bedroom downstairs (or through the open bedroom upstairs). Beds were comfortable. Provided slippers were such a nice touch. Gas "wood burning" stove was cozy and perfect for the chilly evenings. Loved all of the details with fun decor and antiques. Especially loved how meticulously everything was labeled and instructions were clear! Kitchen was very well stocked not only with all needed cookware but with pantry staples and condiments as well, which is hit or miss at other places. The area for dogs is fairly small but nicely fenced and did the trick. Luckily there's plenty of roads to go for a walk and enjoy the woods. We also explored at nearby Sly Park; walked by the lake and up to the waterfall. Absolutely perfect to go in April -- not too hot, not too cold, green/wildflowers, falls were full, very few people (although we were there in the middle of the week). To top it off, very good communication from the owners - got the entry code the day of, even said it was ready early; and very friendly. I loved reading about the history of the cabin, and I could feel all the love that went into it! Thanks for the nice stay!

Amber cabin is great!

This property is dialed in!! Everything in it's place with easy instructions to facilitate comfort. Deck and hot tub are fantastic. Only neg would be that it's located on a corner fronting a somewhat busy street. It was the first thing I noticed when I arrived but you quickly become accustomed and it was a none issue for us. The game room in the garage is ideal for young kids. Two thumbs up!!
