Charming and quiet house located in a Manor House XVIII is one of the three houses located on a traditional Quinta in the Minho region of Portugal. The Quinta dates back to the 18th Century and underwent a full restoration in the 1990s. It stands proudly on nine hectares of land and offers visitors a relaxing environment with its close proximity to fields, hills, trees and animals.
The Quinta is made up of granite stone, typical of the region, which is present both inside and outside the house, but can especially be seen at the small chapel, the large gate and in the pools and fountains.
The Quinta enjoys a great location, being situated in a small, quiet village but close enough to two main cities – Braga and Vila Nova de Famalicao – to satisfy holiday-makers’ needs. The Quinta is close to many amenities( 1km away is a market, bread shop, petrol station and two restaurants).The house has 3 bedrooms, ideal for 4 adults and 4 childreen/teenagers.
A car is highly recommended to explore the region. The Quinta enjoys a fantastic location, being close to the main tourist attractions in the North of Portugal, such as Guimaraes (where Portugal was founded) and Ponte de Lima (Portugal’s oldest town), both of which are only 35km away. Viana do Castelo is just 45km and great beaches such as Vila do Conde, Póvoa de Varzim and Esposende are all within 30 km. The Peneda-Geres National Park is within 45km and the North of Spain is 80km away.

A Casa fica situada entre Braga e Famalicão (aproximadamente a 9 kms de cada). Está inserida num contexto rural, extremamente calmo. Ideal para o descanso de adultos e crianças. Apropriada para umas férias em família, com a possibilidade de conhecer o norte de Portugal.

Quando solicitado, temos aos dispor dos hóspedes uma série de sugestões e actividades para que conheçam o norte de Portugal, usufruam da nossa cultura, desfrutem da nossa gastronomia e tenham uma estadia agradável.
Para chegar a nossa casa e para terem maior mobilidade durante a estadia o aluguer de carro é essencial. Temos estacionamento na propriedade. Existem, no entanto, outras opções .Podemos contratar um motorista para as vossas deslocações (aeroporto, entre cidades). Existem autocarros entre aeroporto do Porto Braga (getbus) com vários horários e preços acessíveis e a possibilidade de contratar um motorista para o (a) transportar de ou até á nossa casa. O comboio também poderá ser uma possibilidade (estações mais próximas : Mouquim, Nine, Ferreiros, Braga e Vila Nova de Famalicão)
