Das Jewel of the Bay ist ein modernes, helles und luftiges zweistöckiges Haus, nur 130 Meter vom Strand entfernt. Es gibt eine großartige Aussicht über die Bucht und den Steg, und der Gemischtwarenladen, der Spirituosenladen und das Postamt sind nur einen Block entfernt. Der Steg ist fünf Minuten zu Fuß.
Unser "Juwel der Bucht" -Haus wurde im Jahr 2006 erbaut und ist ein großartiges Ferienhaus für Paare und Familien. Es ist auch ein sehr praktisches Haus, um Ihre Angelexpedition mit Ihren Freunden zu organisieren, da es Platz für mehrere Fahrzeuge und die "Hütte" gibt, die auch mit Küche, Toilette und Bad ausgestattet ist.
Smoky ist bekannt und geschätzt für sein King George Whiting-Fischen in einer geschützten Bucht, aber der Steg bietet in der Saison (Dezember bis April) auch gute Fangmöglichkeiten für Tommies, Squid und Blue Swimmer Crabs.
Das Haus hat eine tolle Terrasse im Obergeschoss mit Kapuzengrill, ist voll klimatisiert und verfügt über eine Gasheizung für den Winter.
Der Familien- / Wohnbereich im Obergeschoss ist offen gestaltet und bietet problemlos Platz für 8 Personen.
Alle 3 Haus Schlafzimmer haben QS Betten, ideal für Paare, Schlafzimmer 2 hat auch ein Einzelbett und Schlafzimmer 3 bietet Platz für weitere 3.
In der angrenzenden Hütte, die über eigene Einrichtungen und eine Verdunstungsklimaanlage verfügt, ist auch Platz für einen Überlauf an Extras.
Es gibt überdachte Parkplätze für drei Fahrzeuge.
Kommen Sie und genießen Sie ein schönes Haus in einer ruhigen und schönen Umgebung.
Urlaub oder Angeln oder einfach nur entspannen in der wunderschönen Smoky Bay, wo Sie die saftigsten Austern bekommen und Kinder in einer sicheren, geschützten Bucht schwimmen können.

Booked here on my return from a camping trip to WA with my dog..wanted to chill out on way back to Melbourne. This place was perfect. Very relaxed, quiet and beautiful. A good place to chill out for sure

The perfect holiday house in the perfect spot with amazing views.

We loved our stay here and particularly enjoyed being able to stay with our dogs. The house was cosy and comfortable during some wild winter weather - and when the skies cleared the views were magnificent. Everything you could need for a short or longer stay was provided and we felt right at home. The location was great both for enjoying Smoky Bay and for exploring the surrounding areas.

A nice hideaway

A very convenient location with great sea views and fantastic sunsets. Lovely two storey setting with all the conveniences of being away from home. The accommodation separate from the house can be allocated to others during your stay - good to be aware of. Loved our stay and enjoyed our oysters and Chablis watching the sun set!

Place of peaceful relaxation

A lovely peaceful week in Smoky Bay with some perfect and some not so perfect winter days. The home adapted to all of the conditions, providing a warm and comfortable stay throughout for us and our dog. He loved the long, beautiful beach just a short walk away and the balcony to sit and watch the view. As did we. Felt very at home during our holiday week.

A piece of paradise

Wow! This lovely holiday home exceeded all of our expectations. The views are amazing and the house is extremely comfortable and full of extras to make your stay a special one. We stayed for 5 nights and found the bed to be comfortable, the facilities easy to use & the instructions / labels a great help. The home has a bath, 2 toilets / 2 showers and a large fully fenced yard for your dogs or kids to play. The stairs are easy to climb with solid rails available to help. There was even a laundry chute so you don’t need to carry clothing down to the laundry for washing. The beach is very close to the home. All linen & towels were also provided which was handy. Thanks so much for a wonderful holiday to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our two dogs.

Smoky Stay

Terrific property with great sea views and numerous amenities that added value to the stay. Malcolm was readily available to take calls and provide clarity on any matter at all. This trip was specifically about fishing but I will return with my family. the only issue we had was the fish cleaning table looks into the afternoon sun and if there was a shade cover on fence or it was moved would be great. Relaxing Stay @ Smoky

From the start communication was good and finding the property and gaining entry was easy. The 2 story home is right in Smoky next to the Caravan Park and near to the Jetty. Everything you need is supplied with well equipped kitchen and working grade internet. Off street undercover parking is also provided. Would stay afain.

Great short holiday

Lovely house with great views over the town and the ocean. House was spotless when we arrived and was just like a home away from home with everything that we needed. Great to have a secure yard for our dog Ellie, couldn't have wished for anything better. Appreciated the phone call from Malcolm to check that everything was ok - hopefully we will be back again when the fishing might be a bit better

Smokey bay facilities outside of summer

The property was very comfortable, had some views of the beach. We were disappointed in the facilities offered at Smokey Bay, we hadn’t realised that we wouldn’t be able to get a meal, and the choices of food available at the store were minimal and no food was available after 5.30pm.

Furbaby holiday!

After a 10 hour drive it was lovely to find everything we needed and to feel like we were at home. So close to the beach. Great view and most of all we were able to stay with 4 dogs that had the best time on the beach. Such a lovely quite little town to stay in. Pity the fish didn't bite during our stay.

The Jewel of the Bay indeed!

The house is lovely, so comfortable and convenient. Pretty much everything you need is supplied including free wifi ( but as not a true B and B you need to bring your own food and drinks). Great to sit on the deck in the morning for a coffee or a drink in the evening and watch the sunset over the bay.

I am a country boy from Laura SA and Lyn grew up in Adelaide. For 8 years we loved and worked in Ceduna. Smoky Bay was our weekend getaway, and since we have moved away from the district it is our holiday house and available also to others to enjoy. You are welcome!

We bought the 1000 sq metre block in 2003 with a just a shack on it and decided to build two holiday homes as from the block there is a great view of the bay.
Smoky Bay is a great place to get away from it all, and we used it for just that. We still do.
