Der Pondok-Scotts-Kopf

Ein charmantes Ferienhaus in der Nähe von Stränden, Cafés, Geschäften und "The Bowlo". Es ist ein klassisch renoviertes australisches Strandhaus mit geschmackvoller, vielseitiger Einrichtung. Gegründet als Urlaubsunterkunft im Jahr 2015, obwohl es eine der ursprünglichen Wohnungen in Scotts Head war. Stellen Sie auf einen großen Block ein, der perfekt ist, damit Kinder in oder für dieses Hinterhofkricketspiel spielen. Der Hof verfügt über einen schönen Gummibaum mit Sitzgelegenheiten. Die Küche umfasst eine Kaffeemaschine, einen Geschirrspüler und eine Mikrowelle sowie alles, was Sie möglicherweise benötigen. Die überdachte Veranda bietet einen Gasgrill (und einen Blick auf das Meer) mit einem schönen Essbereich im Freien, der von einem Weintraubengitter umgeben ist. Es gibt drei Schlafzimmer und ein zweites Badezimmer / Waschküche befindet sich im Erdgeschoss.

'The Cave' verfügt über einen Wohnbereich mit Fernseher, Surround-Sound, Blue Ray / DVD und iPod-Dockingstation.
Es gibt auch eine Dartscheibe, ein Giant Jenga-Set UND einen Billardtisch in Pub-Größe, der sich in eine Tischtennisplatte verwandeln lässt. Stundenlanger Familienspaß !!!

Home from home
Very homely, has all the things you’d need. Well equiped kitchen and very welcoming host. Would be a great place to stay with family and friends. A very short walk from the local shop and cafe as well.

Great house located near shops and beach
Recommend this house to family or families with the added bonus of The Cave is a converted 2 car garage with pool table, table tennis, darts, games etc you will have the whole main house to the adults and the kids will just hang in The Cave and big yard. The main house is so cute with treasures from all over the world inside and beds are very comfortable with air conditioning and lots of back up fans if required. Superb kitchen which has everything in it ,including sauces, heaps of glasses and plates, cooking utensils, dishwasher, fridge etc... 2 mins walk to shops which has a great coffee shop, Juice bar, Butcher, mini supermarket, chemist and bakery.The beach which only 5mins walk away is great for beginner surfers, snorkelling or just swimming. Just loved Scotts Head and this house has all the comforts of home with a warmth about it, thank you we had a great time and we will be back.

Pondok has a great atmosphere that helps you to immediately feel relaxed. Lots of interesting details, comfortable beds and everything you could possibly need for a great beach holiday experience. We loved it!

Excellent stay
We had Christmas at The Pondok with our extended family and had a fabulous stay. The house is well provisioned with everything you could need. The kids made great use of the beautiful yard and we loved having The Cave to play table tennis and pool, especially on a rainy day. The location is great, especially for beach access.

Perfect Beach House for the Whole Family
We stayed at the Pondock for 10 nights. It is in an awesome location, just a stroll to the shops and beach. The house has everything you would need, heaps of character and feels like your own home. The Cave was wonderful for the kids and gave us parents a lovely break from the children's noise and a few sleep ins. The kids loved the independence of playing ping pong, darts and pool in their own space. Great BBQ, fire pit and large garden that our golden retriever loved! Nothing to fault about this place and we hope to be back again next year. Thanks for the most relaxing holiday we've had in a LONG time!

Great place to stay
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Pondok. The house is tastefully decorated and has every mod con you require. When we arrived we found the beds freshly made, towels supplied and even basic food items in the pantry. It was as if the owners had just moved out for the week to let us stay. We've never struck this in a holiday rental before. We would thoroughly recommend The Pondok for a great relaxing break.

Pondock Has Everything !!!
Amazing house with with every amenity you can imagine. No need to have sea view when this close ! Perfect for a family of 5 with a few mates. The Cave is brilliant and my 14 year old and her friend were in there, loved it and there independence as well as huge big screen and there very own fridge ! Scotts Head will now be the only place we holiday. Thank you to both owner and Stayz..... We are so sad to be back at work tomorrow !!!!!!! What a hols. We want it again next year. The beaches and lack of people are the greatest attraction. The best week off we've had in Australia. Thanks again !

Excellent sea-side escape
We really enjoyed our stay - both the humans & the dogs! This close to the beach holiday house is set up to make sure you enjoy your holiday with all the mode cons - yet it still has its vacation feel. You can sit out on the back veranda, listed to the sea and enjoy a glass of wine while watching your dog revel in the spacious backyard. Beach access for our dogs was a real bonus. The local cafes, butcher & baker and other retail outlets are all very friendly and have good produce. Enjoy! we did.

The best holiday home we have ever stayed in!
The Pondock is so much more than it looks from the street. It is spacious, has a homely beachy feel with a real funky creative décor. Its feels so much more like staying in a home than a holiday rental that we never wanted to leave. So many extras were also supplied that you don't normally find in holiday rentals. The back yard is huge and was great for our kids. With a short walk to the shops and beautiful beaches of Scotts Head The Pondock is the perfect property for a great holiday in Scotts Head and we will definitely be going back.

Cute, quirky and well appointed
The Pondok is a delightful, central and well appointed beach house offering everything you need for a family beach holiday. Situated 2 blocks from the town's two stunning beaches the house offers all mod cons, a great selection of DVDs, big yard for backyard cricket (a set is included) and a lovely back verandah to catch the sea breezes. Many thoughtful extras are included.

What a fab find!
The Pondok is the perfect house for a family beach getaway. It has lots of great extras - the kitchen includes pantry staples, the linen and towels are provided and unlike a lot of other properties you get the sense that the owners really want you to feel at home. The location is fantastic - a short walk to all the amenities that Scott's Head has to offer - club, cafe, small supermarket and bottle shop and most importantly, a beautiful beach. We've been holidaying up and down the NSW coast for 10 years and this is by far the best property we've stayed in.

Beautiful with all the extras!!
My family and I stayed at The Pondok for 6 nights and had the best time, we were amazed at the extras, linen, bath towels, coffee machine, fridge and pantry stocked with sauces etc. We spent most nights on the covered back deck, with bbq overlooking the beautiful garden. Everything we needed and more. Highly recommend this property and hope to stay there again soon. Home away from home.

Wow, great vibes, great everything!
It makes such a difference to stay at what is obviously a such well-loved cottage. The décor has just the right mix of 'quirkiness' and comfort. What a treat to relax on the back verandah with a glass or two and watch the dogs smiling as they play together in the spacious backyard. Memories to enjoy!

Loved this property!
We stayed at The Pondok in July this year and loved the area and the property. The house was perfect for what we needed - with everything from the coffee machine, great bbq area and full stocked kitchen to comfortable beds and the perfect garden for the dog to roam around. Only minutes from the beach (which is off-leash) and great local facilities (such as the bowlo, bakery and take-away) we will be coming back

Scotts Head is where I grew up! I don't think I fully appreciated its beauty back then. As an adult I have travelled to, and lived in, lots of lovely places. I still consider Scotts Head to be one of the most beautiful and relaxing places to spend time! Coming up over that rise to the panorama of 'Big Beach' makes my heart sing!
