Good But Needs Attention

We have stayed at San Moritz for many years. It is an older complex but many units are updated. This condo has updated bathrooms but the primary bedroom could use a few things. The room smelled like pet urine. I called the office and was told the previous group also said it smelled. The office asked me to remove a runner in the room and see if that was the problem. It helped but the carpet still smelled. The bed could use new sheets as the elastic was not holding the fitted sheet on. Over all it was adequate but needs attention.

Great ski-in ski-out with ample space

Great stay for our group. Ski in ski out was not beginner friendly but more blue terrain. Great communication and great hot tub. Appreciated the shuttle.

Summer trip with friends

Beautiful views from the condo, great location for hiking, fishing and enjoying dinners in town. Two master suites were perfect for our trip.

Crested Butte Joy

The condo was in a wonderful location. We had easy access to all the trails that we wanted to hike. The place was spacious for the 3 of us and the views magnificent.

Wonderful location

The condo was very clean & easy to access the office if you needed anything! The view from the deck was breathe taking. The best part besides the ski in ski out location was the shuttle service provided by the San Moritz condominiums. One quick call and the private shuttle comes to pick you up and bring you downtown or wherever you want to go. This was extremely convenient when wanting to go downtown at night after skiing all day.

Spacious, well stocked, no ski in due to snow conditions

Huge 3 bedroom is one of the largest on hill condos we have stayed at. It is older, but well decorated with local art. It also has a well stocked kitchen. The ceiling wasn’t great for blocking noise; we could hear upstairs neighbors any time they walked. Ski-out was ok, I would guess a 100 yard walk. It was not ski-in for us (or anyone else in the area) as the snow trail to the area was ungroomed and marked avalanche area by the hill. But, the shuttle service worked well. Disappointing for me though as we paid ski in/ski out price.

Beautiful space and view

overall the stay was amazing - the view and the condo were perfect. There were two flights of stairs down to the condo which we weren't expecting especially since we were having a wedding and everything going with it. We did 29 flights of stairs bringing everything in. If we just had our luggage it wouldn't have been bad. The only down side was the neighbors above us not abiding by the quiet time- two nights they were loud until after 1pm

Easy ski in & out. We had little kids & were worried about trying to get to/from the condo & first lift but it was easy & worked out great. Great condo for families!

Great condo for the price

The condo was comfortable for our group of 5. There is only one sofa and no other comfortable seating in the living room but we were ok a larger group maybe not. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare whatever meal you want The beds were comfortable and as advertised. The location worked well for us but it is easy access to the lift after about a 100 ft walk to a slope leading to west wall lift. The way back to the condo after skiing is tricky- and a beginner skier may find the way down and back a little challenging. The first day we had trouble finding the path back to our condo-but we managed. If you miss the trail catch the little lift back up and try again. Or walk up a big hill. We really really enjoyed the deck and the fabulous views!! A welcome book with useful condo and mountain information would be helpful with Instructions how to ski in and out would be very helpful We would stay here again! Thank you

Beautiful Condo!

Our family had a wonderful time staying in this condo even though our 13yo daughter broke both wrists snowboarding (wear wrists guards!!!), so she got to enjoy the condo more than us since that ended her time on the mountain. The owner was incredibly gracious to refund our last day since we had to leave a day early to get to an orthopod back in Dallas. This is technically a ski-in-ski-out condo, but it is challenging to ski back in from the mountain as there is no clear trail to get back, but it's doable. Overall, this is a great condo!

We were disappointed in the property manager. Unfriendly when we called because the hair dryer did not work and we did not have hot water. She seemed upset that we were calling with a problem. The hot water was a constant problem. Sometimes it seemed to work but most of the time it did not. It was never repaired during our stay.

Awesome condo in one of the most beautiful places

Thank you for letting us stay in your amazing condo! It was so well stocked with everything we needed for cooking meals there, it was close to everything we wanted to do, and had gorgeous views! If we come back to CB, we will definitely stay again.

Simple Condo, Great Spot

Overall, this is a great place for the price! Excellent location for winter or summer. You can access the entire mountain in a few steps, and the Upper Upper trailhead is a few hundred yards down the road. The condo was great, nice beds, comfy couch, and the views are stellar. Some of the appliances are a bit worn, so if you're concerned about the age of the toaster, or whether the coffee maker reminds you of the one your parents used to have, you might consider looking elsewhere. If you're coming to enjoy what CB has to offer at a reasonable price, then this is a good spot. There are a few stairs to contend with, but it's a short flight down from the parking lot, then 1 story down to the door to the condo, so no big deal. At least in the summer, there is no bus access from the condo, you'd have to walk down to Snowmass Road, where you initially turn off of Gothic Road. Can't speak for the winter. Note also that the hot tub is only available in the winter.

First Time in Crested Butte

We loved our first time in Crested Butte. Beth answered so many questions before we arrived and the office staff helped while we were there. The most amazing part of the property besides the view was the shuttle service. Since it snowed 9 inches on Christmas Day, we did not want to drive so we used the shuttle all the time. The drivers were great and told wonderful stories of their time in Crested Butte. We look forward to coming again.

Great property and owner's wonderful to work with!

Property worked well for 7 people. Accomodations suited the purpose. It was ski in/ski-out despite the early spring ski conditions that happened mid-March. Great property; would rent again.

San Moritz location well supported w/ shuttle system or ski access in/out for stronger skiers

The condo has 2 sides one with king bed/bath/bunk room (3-4 people/children) and bath. Other side of living area has king bed room & bath & separate door access. The description is accurate as described and our stay with son, daughter-in-law & 2 g'kids (8 & 4) was very comfortable. Access requires stairs down from parking area, and an access bridge to enter - while snow is cleared it is a wooden slatted bridge and can be slippery/icy and there is another flight down from the the main door. A walk with skis to end of parking area (50 yds) is required for ski on/off. The kids enjoyed the hot tub (sign-up sheet for reservations). Access to base area was easy by the condo's shuttle system and is available for access town (about 5/10 min drive) in non-ski (AM to /PM from) times. Condo has seating for 6 at table, but 2 must sit on bench. Kitchen has most necessities for meals. The washer/dryer in the unit was convenient, but the dryer took abnormal time to dry cloths - 2+ hours. The view is fantastic. Hot water was always available.
