Retreat inmitten von 100 majestätischen Bäumen einschließlich Eiche, Kiefer und Zeder. Im Inneren befindet sich ein offenes Layout mit 3 Queen-Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss, Holzofen und ein Kinderbereich im Erdgeschoss mit Flachbildschirm-TV, Spiele und Etagenbetten. Draußen ist eine friedliche Oase für Kinder und Erwachsene mit Hängematte, Meditationsstuhl, Baumhaus, Rutsche, Baumschaukel und Stoßfängerpool. Es ist die perfekte ruhige Lage für spirituelle Sucher mit vielen privaten Bereichen auf dem Grundstück zu meditieren.

Es gibt einen Blick auf den Mount Shasta aus der hinteren Veranda und von der Spitze des Hügels hinter dem Haus. Im Winter macht den Hügel für große Rodeln direkt im Hinterhof.

Snowboarders play games late into night.

This is a good property for a group. The game room downstairs, the outdoor setup and the well equipped kitchen were terrific. Property is very peaceful and we really enjoyed.

Perfect for family reunion

This is a lovely location in the woods. Perfect for our annual family reunion. The house had everything we could ask for, the hosts have provided everything necessary for a great weekend getaway.

Fourth of July Woodsy Retreat

Excellent house with lots of room for the whole family. There were 5 adults and 3 children ages 3, 7 and 10. The downstairs area for the kids was phenomenal with plenty of things for them to play with. They literally spent hours playing with the horses and other toys. Mom had a bed of her own and the girls enjoyed the bunk beds. Upstairs the kitchen area was wonderful. A huge butcher block held all of our dry goods and the dining room table fit us all for our big dinners. The outside area was great. Really enjoyed the gas fire pit for morning coffee. The deck was of nice size and accommodated everyone well. The only complaints were that it was mostly dirt with lots of pitch/sap from the trees. After walking towards the hammock, you came back mighty sticky. One recommendation, bring deep woods off as we were eaten alive by mosquitos, but we spend a lot of time out of doors. Other than that, our stay was fabulous and highly recommend especially if you enjoy a woodsy atmosphere.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Our grandchildren liked the trampoline and the games and toys that were available. The hot tub was great and the Mt Shasta views are awesome.

Almost perfect, with one small issue

The things that are good about this house/property are absolutely amazing. Perfect for both adults and children. Literally my only problem was with the check in and check out time, but more the check out time. 10am check out is very early to get four adults and six kids packed up to leave on time. The owner was very nice and responsive. Just wish that the check in/check out times were set with large families in mind. Other than this, it was great!

We had a lovely stay at Rana’s property. The home had lots of fun areas to relax and play. Most of all we enjoyed the views of Shasta and the forest setting.

Lovely Property, fabulous location

We came in the Fall to hike on and near Mt. Shasta, and had a great time. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths upstairs, with a large living room, dining room, big kitchen area and wood burning stove. Downstairs was a room full of beds, with full laundry and half bath. Two large TV's, bumper pool table, lots of games. Central heating worked just fine. There was a portable room air conditioner that we did not use. The house is not super fancy, but very comfortable, with loads of appliances. Would certainly return if coming back to this area.

Wonderful Experience

The house is well cared for and has a nice layout. The hill behind the house was wonderful for sledding and sliding down in the snow. The trampoline and swing outdoors were fun to use. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the toys.

Great house for Mt Shasta fun

Easy access, plenty of parking, quiet street. Nice layout for hanging out with family and friends. Great deck in back, and close to downtown and beautiful Mt Shasta! Well stocked and clean. The wi-fi went out a few times, and we figured out how to re-set it- you have to flip the GCFI outlet in the garage which is odd but not a big deal. Just FYI.

Lovely Place

This house is in a perfect location. Close to stores, downtown Mt Shasta and the ski park. Perfect for an extended family, the large downstairs allows for some privacy. Outdoor area is beautiful in the snow.

Perfect Place For A Family Getaway

The downstairs is bigger and full of more fun stuff to play with than the pictures show. The trampoline got a lot of use. My only caveat would be summers are HOT (and getting hotter every year) in Mt. Shasta and this house is not designed for it. It gets really warm upstairs, and it's even hotter to be outside other than early mornings or late evenings. Come in the spring, fall, or winter for an AMAZING stay at this beautiful home.

Very peaceful and beautiful

We loved sitting out on the deck and just being quiet and watching for the amazing wildlife that eventually showed up. Deer, various squirrels, bunnies, jack rabbits. Heavenly visit, wish we could have stayed longer. Great for kids the way the downstairs is set up. I truly appreciated each room on main level had celing fans and lamp by bed set up for devices to charge and a place to store them. Very much appreciated. Loved the lighting, etc etc. I will stay here again hopefully soon. :)

Perfect house....lovely location.

This is a wonderful home. Very nicely stocked, and so comfortable. Perfect for all age groups. Wonderful open yard for the kids and dogs to enjoy. The property manager is very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely would recommend this house, and I will definitely will be renting it again in the future.

Very private and comfortable home

This property is very private yet close to town. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked (other than no colander for salad, pasta, etc.) There is no air conditioning so the house gets fairly warm. We were there in August with daytime temps in the low 90's but the evenings cooled off nicely. We spent a lot of time on the back deck but would recommend that the owner cover the patio furniture to keep it clean and protect it from the birds. There is a BBQ although I did not see it listed on the property summary. We would stay here again :)

Just What We Needed

After self-quarantining for a week my family of 3 spent 2 weeks here with our closest friends. It was just what we all needed - fresh air, comfortable accommodations, fun for the kids, out door activities and connection. The owner was kind, accommodating and accessible. We took walks, rode bikes into town, went backpacking for a few days, cooked in the well-supplied kitchen and all slept comfortably. Thank you!
