Spokane Craftsman Family Home

We're a local Spokane family that enjoys doing outdoor hikes and walks in the park. We love working on our small business brands Simply Me, Sub Sox, and SMG Leatherworks. We also love watching our young children have fun at their Gymnastics and Taekwondo classes. We like being hosts because it brings together people from all walks of life that might not otherwise have met. It also feels good to know that people enjoy the atmosphere and environment that we've worked hard to set up for them!

We chose this neighborhood because it's Centrally Located and in close proximity to nearly everything that Spokane has to offer. Within five minutes heading north we can be on the outskirts of the Audobon area and enjoying golf at the wonderful Downriver Golf course, riding bike trails that overlook the Spokane River and beautiful valley of trees, or at one of the most amazing places you might ever visit: Bowl and Pitcher @ Riverside State Park. Traveling west from our neighborhood lends itself to a short walk to a beautiful view of the river below, and access to The Centennial Trail that can take you via bike to: the Kendall Yards shopping area, Riverfront Park, and Gonzaga University. Access to the freeway and Airport is easy and the back roads will lead you there with fun and pretty roads to drive. As we venture south from our house we can be downtown enjoying lovely amenities and establishments within five minutes. Some of these major attractions are: The Podium, Clinkerdaggers @ The Flour Mill, The Spokane Arena, & the Downtown Mall to name a few. Traveling west from our neighborhood is convenient and places like Minnehaha Park, Black Bay Park in Post Falls, and of course, Lake Coeur d' Alene are some of our favorite places to visit and spend time with family. If you've got a little extra time, we recommend the absolutely breathtaking journey to Glacier National Park! Our neighborhood also has: many restaurants, a large gym, a grocery store, pharmacy, coffee shops, barber shop and other shopping all within walking distance.

Our property is unique because we've established "The Gathering Place" to be your home away from home. When you enter the fully fenced property, you'll notice mature grape vines, Strawberry patches, and manicured lawns that lead to the front, side and back entrances. As you stroll around the secure and private oasis, feel free to grab some fresh: Raspberries, Blueberries, Mint, Sage or any of the many plant species on the property to enhance your meals or libations. The front patio provides shade and fresh air where you can spend some time relaxing outside, while the enclosed back patio lets you do the same with a little more privacy. When you enter the home for the first time we think you'll be just as pleased with the amazing craftsmanship and elegance of the woodwork done throughout. From large interior wood pillars and a built-in buffet, to a stair rail and woodwork in the basement, the amazing woodwork in our home makes it feel cozy despite it's 3,600 sq. ft. of space.
