"Alonda" ist ein atemberaubendes brandneues Haus mit 4 Schlafzimmern, 3 Bädern, einem 5-Sitzer-Spa und einem Tauchbecken sowie einem unvergleichlichen 180-Grad-Blick auf das Wasser über Bore Beach bis zum Meer. Einige der vielen Funktionen dieses schönen Hauses sind im Folgenden aufgeführt:

Innenbereiche

Im Obergeschoss befindet sich der große Ess- / Wohnbereich mit einem beeindruckenden Kamin aus Gusseisen in der Mitte des Raums, einem Rückspülsystem und einem Smart-TV mit WLAN-Funktion. Die moderne, gut ausgestattete Küche ist offen geschnitten. Im Obergeschoss befindet sich auch das große Hauptschlafzimmer (mit Bad, 2 Waschbecken, zwei Duschen und Fußbodenheizung) und eine separate Gästetoilette für zusätzlichen Komfort.

Im Erdgeschoss befinden sich drei große Schlafzimmer, alle mit BIR und eines mit eigenem Bad (und Fußbodenheizung). Die beiden anderen Schlafzimmer teilen sich ein großes Hauptbadezimmer mit Badewanne, Dusche, separatem WC und Fußbodenheizung. Ebenfalls im Erdgeschoss befindet sich der zweite Wohnbereich mit TV und Reverse-Cycle-Split-System.

Außenbereiche

Das hintere Deck im Obergeschoss bietet einen uneingeschränkten 180-Grad-Blick auf das Meer - ein fantastischer Ort, um die atemberaubende Aussicht zu genießen. Das Achterdeck im Erdgeschoss führt vom Wohnbereich im Erdgeschoss zum Spa mit 5 Plätzen und Tauchbecken. Es gibt eine Doppelgarage mit überdachtem Zugang zum Haus.

Küche

Die voll ausgestattete Küche ist mit Kochutensilien, Geschirr, Besteck, Mikrowelle, Lavazza-Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, Wasserkocher usw. sowie einem Doppelwaschbecken, einer begehbaren Speisekammer, einem großen Kühlschrank, einem Geschirrspüler, einem 900-mm-Elektroherd, einem 5-Flammen-Gasherd und einer Mikrowelle ausgestattet die grundlegenden Gewürze, Reinigungsmittel usw., die Sie in einem Zuhause außerhalb von zu Hause erwarten würden.

Heiz- / Kühlsysteme

Jeder der beiden Wohnbereiche verfügt über ein Reverse-Cycle-Split-System, jedes Badezimmer über eine Fußbodenheizung und jedes Schlafzimmer über einen Deckenventilator und eine Säulenheizung.

Concept great, Location on point, Beds very comfortable, Cleanliness ALOT to be desired, more outdoor furniture down stairs required. Take a chair to sit out near pool area. Great location but..

Great location. Arrived at property to find that all the gas bottles were empty. No hot water and no cooking facilities due to no gas. 4 kids and family had showers in public toilets in Cowes. Had to follow up with property manager multiple times and don’t feel anything would’ve been resolved if I hadn’t followed up for the last time at 4pm before the office closed prior to the second night. Handy man finally sent with small LBG bottle as a temp fix. Frustrating that I had to follow up multiple times to be told it’s difficult because it’s a weekend and on the island. Kids beds stained and couches all need a steam clean. On arrival had to wash most crockery as it was dirty and in the draw. Pot draw most post still dirty covered in grease. Didn’t bother cleaning them as we had no gas so no ability use them and felt I shouldn’t have to be cleaning someone else’s mess. Bbq was dirty with a significant amount of grease build up below hot plates and needs to be cleaned. Definitely a fire hazard. Amazing location although I feel that the property needs a clean and cleaning and check processes reviewed. Gas bottles should be checked by cleaner and reported for replacement when spare is switched over. Over all great property but definitely expected a cleaner property and basic gas essentials for the price we paid. Shouldn’t have to be chasing basic maintenance on a property that I rented for a holiday. Do better!

Serenity and comfort

A great option for girl’s weekend, with amazing views and a fabulous spa and pool set up. Bedrooms are spacious, plenty of bathrooms, and a fairly well-equipped kitchen. Could be enhanced with some outdoor furniture downstairs near the pool/spa and some comfy chairs on the deck upstairs. Our stay coincided with a heatwave and the lack of air conditioning in the master bedroom upstairs meant the room was unbearably hot despite the ceiling fan and strategic use of blinds and windows. Despite this, the view and location were spectacular, and would definitely consider staying here again.

Mums annual weekend away

Highly recommend this place for a group of people, and remember to order your linen as well, as this makes the experience seamless. We stopped and had lunch at Loch on the way which was perfect, and booked into Herspa in Cowes for the next day and a couple of restuarant bookings. The house was spotless, perfect views and comfortable. I was worried about previous reviews with cockroaches and we saw none at all. The whole experience was devine, heater works well as I didn't explore the fireplace as I didn't look for where the firestarters and lighter were. There was some paper supplied and large pieces of wood. We would stay there again. PS Herspa was incredible and so was the Phillip Island Winery. Also there are a couple of places in Cowes to charge your Electric vehicle

Dirty house, full of multiple cockroaches!

I was surprised when I noticed multiple dead cockroaches and other bugs in the house at arrival! At night, there were live cockroaches crawling up and down the walls! We left the property one day earlier as I couldn't stand living with multiple cockroaches in the holiday house. There were no bath towels and linens and we were informed about this, just one day before arrival! The small towels which were available had not been washed and been very dirty. Please do not chose this holiday house.

Great view, basic supplies and spa doesn’t stay hot.

The view was great and we appreciated the house as the standard in San Remo and Phillip Island us pretty hopeless. I’ll start with the spa as it was the main reason I booked the house. It did get to 37d as promised but it didn’t stay there when using it. If a kind friend didn’t bring 16 hot buckets of water so it was bearable we couldn’t have stayed in it. I’d prefer them include the linen/towels onto the overall bill. As it was, all beds but one had only a bottom sheet and doona. How European, and not acceptable or practical in a hot country. There was very little wood for the fire but they had a great supply of something that acts as fire starters and kindling, and works well. For the size of the house there wasn’t enough living room sofas for everyone to sit. The overall feel of the house is a bit sparse and bleak. The glasses they supplied were a joke. Lucky I always bring unbreakable spa glasses that we could use generally for G&Ts. The few tiny wine glasses didn’t cut it. There’s nothing to put suitcases on or sit in the bedrooms either. Very sparse. They had the main pantry items like oil and S&P. We did get some stunning photos of the stars and Milky Way which wax great.

Extremely disappointing!

Yes, extremely disappointing! Property was not cleaned before our stay, place was in an unhygienic state, cigarette buds left from previous tenants, dead bugs, ants everywhere.. The furniture, beds, all surfaces covered by a think layer of dust. (Pictures were sent to management). There is a broken shower in master bedroom upstairs BBQ was dirty and covered with bugs feeding on food sticking to it, but also the bbq igniter was broken. Kids frustrated as PlayStation not working, worn wires and consoles. Kitchen had rusty cookware. Backyard was like a jungle, kids can’t run and play, not as advertised on stayz website! This is not due to rain, as neighbouring property was in great shape. Did not want to return as kids has been waiting for this vacation, we wasted 1st day to get place clean and bought tools to clean up bbq. Management replied the next day to say we have to vacate and they will send someone to clean. We already cleaned all surfaces and hovered the place as we have kids and had to make sure they don’t get sick. I expressed wanting compensation for this situation, he was was rude to say ask me to send the receipt of tools that I got to clean BBQ! What about wasting my time and energy! Then he I gnored all other issues about the property, and only offered to send someone to mow the lawn. When I said yes please send them right away, he was late to answer then advised go to middle of backyard and check if it is dry or muddy and let them know, so they decide whether is it worth sending someone or not! I felt that this communication was very upsetting, a waste of time, and the management is not responsible and unprofessional!! I did not answer this email and they did not follow up; by email or phone. This was such a horrible stay, worst customer service, not worth the huge Sun of money spent for only 3 nights! I highly recommend to avoid this place! I regret going through this website! It is much better when owners are managing/ maintaining their own properties. At least they are responsible for faulty issues and care about reputation of the place, I felt this property management didn’t care about us, or the place, as long as they took their money!

Lovely home, great accomodation for the family

Had some issue with communication. We initially requested their linen service through the Stayz app message; enquired a couple of times with no reply. It was our first time using Stayz and got scared due to the lack of response. A couple of days before our booked stay at the accomodation, we receieved an email with the detail of how to check in; they reported not seeing our message on the app when enquired. Other than that everything has been great. The house and the view are beautiful. Love the heated spa! The open communal area is wide allowing our family to each have our own space while still being together.

We were happy overall, but unfortunately there was many ants around the kitchen and bathroom areas. Upon arrival in the evening on Friday we tried to find the starter for the firewood but unfortunately didn’t find any, so it was hard to start the fireplace that night.

Outlook, sunsets and local fauna makes this property a real treat. Our family holiday was interrupted by the need for property maintenance by a handyman on 2 days, a locksmith and someone also delivering a pillow. The 2nd storey is hot as the air-conditioning isn't big enough to cool the whole area and bedroom too hot to sleep comfortably. Down stair rooms are great. Not a good place in warm weather. Spa was great but pool cloudy and needed filters to be cleaned and further maintenance, would expect both to be crystal clean. Better protocols need to be in place to ensure the property is in good order before handing over to the next holiday maker, this is not a cheap property to rent.
