Good location. Decent pool, nice movie room

Everything was very nice. We didn’t get to use the pool because it was a chilly weekend, but it looked very nice and the movie room was great. The beds were not the most comfortable.

End of March weekend getaway

Property was great! Theater room was awesome. Owner very responsive to all questions. Got back to me quickly within 10 minutes (probably less.)Only downside was the bed is not a king. Definitely a full. Also the pool was not completely ready (dirt and leaves in the bottom) I believe mostly due to being early in the season. Would definitely stay here again. Location is fantastic.

Great Place!

Great location within walking distance of beach and lots of places to visit in the area! We especially loved the movie theater room, arcade, and heated pool! Definitely recommend and would love to come again!

Great place for a couple’s getaway

We had a great stay, though we only used the movie theater one night. The property is pretty clean and is close to the beach and a few good restaurants. Would stay here again.

Nice vacation

Our stay was very relaxing and nice. We really loved having a nice pool to float around in. The media room was nice but there were TVs in every room so lying in bed watching tv and chilling was great. We wanted to us to volleyball sandpit, but it was a bit overgrown, so we spent a lot of time at pool which was great Nice little place. We would rent again. The Kitty Hawk area in general is great. Lots to do and plenty of places to eat at. Great location for that.

Family trip

Stayed with my husband and three kids (9,10,12). Space was exactly what we needed. Pool and theatre room were great features. Close to the beach, but as mentioned in other reviews you have to cross a busy highway.

Great Experience!

This place was perfect for us! Check-in and communication was seamless. The first few days of our trip we couldn’t go in the ocean because of dangerous rip currents so having the pool and the movie theater kept us entertained. The location is super convenient. We were able to walk to the beach because there is a crosswalk available to cross the busy highway. It’s right behind 7-Eleven to easily walk and pick up snacks, milk, beer etc. We will definitely book again for future vacations. Thank you Rafael!

We had a great stay in Kitty Hawk. The house and pool were wonderful and a great space for our family. The only downfall was having to cross the busy road to get to the beach.

CHILLY OVERPRICED WEEKEND

This property is way over priced, especially for the off season. The place had a heated pool so I didnt care there wasnt a jacuzzi. I checked in Friday night and check out Sunday morning. So we really only stayed one whole day. 300 price 200 deposit 100 cleaning fee 50 service fee 59 insurance 50 tax 80 extra to heat the pool. So your looking at 800 for 2 nights. In the description it says heated pool but does not specify that it is an extra cost. The owner did not tell me there was an extra fee to heat the pool until a few hours before our arrival. I told him we were only needed the pool heated for the one day we were staying but was told I had to pay for 2 days because it takes hours to heat up thousands of gallons of water. Last time i checked there were 24 hours in one day. On our first night, I tried to bond with my teens by cooking dinner with them but the power kept going out. I had to find the breaker (in the dark in an unfamiliar setting) and hit it several times to finish cooking our dinner. The owners response to that was it was my fault for using the microwave and the hot plate at the same time. He said i disreguarded the "warning" sign but i did not see any signs anywhere. I even took pictures to make sure. I told him he should have an electrician look at his wiring just in case it was a fire hazard. He assured me the place wouldnt catch on fire during our stay. The owner was rude, intimidating and even threatened me. No compassion for a momt

Overall we had a great time. The accommodations were excellent and clean. We loved the movie theater room. It’s so convenient to beach and nice restaurants. Allowed us to explore the OuterBanks.

Good stay!

We had a good stay here! Good location close to beach and multiple restaurants. It was wonderful to have a private pool. Theater was an exciting feature. Property manager was very nice, personable, and accommodating. Apartment was clean, everything worked, and a small supply of kitchen supplies were included which was super nice. It would be nice to have an easier way to cook for a family as there was no oven/stove . Beds were a little hard and difficult to get sleep . But it all and all it was great and convenient place to stay!

Quick Getaway

Very convenient location. Short drive to the beach with parking available if you don’t want to walk. Very close to tons of restaurants, coffee spots, ice creams, açaí etc. Theater room and arcade came in very handy as we sat through a tropical storm. We would stay again. Enough room for two couples with a few children.

Nice clean place. Not equipped to handle standard cooking. Great movie room. Convenient location.

Overall it's a nice property with a good location. If you plan to eat out a lot or just heat foods it works fine. Short drive time to shops and restaurants in OBX and Duck. Big open beach across the street within walking distance. I've stayed in every town along the outer banks for years and found this location to have the most available beach space for families to spread out even in July.

Great stay!

It was a great property to stay at! Near everything you wanted to do. Drove to the beach, it’s across a busy road and I didn’t feel like lugging our stuff over but it was close enough to walk. We loved the private pool, and the game/theatre room was a huge hit! There is only a toaster oven and 1 single hot plate but it was plenty to make easy meals. All the essentials are there: towels, a few washcloths, hand soap, dish soap and sheets. There were not any dishcloths or dish towels which was fine, I just grabbed a small pack of each on our shopping trip. The only thing I found annoying were the lights on the walking path to the door. They were blinding me at night while walking. Otherwise, we loved every moment!! Thank you for letting us stay!

Nice cozy home - bring supplies though

Rafael is very responsive. The location is great, right across the street from the beach and right by a 7-11. Loved the home and the theatre was a nice touch. Only thing I wish I could change was more supplies. We only had 2 rolls of toilet paper, there were no shampoo/soap. There was also very little hand/dish soap. But besides that, I recommend this stay! just come supplied.

Solid place-- Would stay again

This is actually my first stay on VRBO and it was just myself and my fiancee. Everything from the listing was fine. The bed I believe is a queen and not a king -- both of us are 6'2" so we can tell pretty quick compared to our bed at home. The pool looked great even though we didn't use it in March -- Can't ask for better communication -- We only had one small issue but it was quickly resolved. If you have a family with 2-3 kids under15 --- I dont think you could find a better place. It's an easy walk to beach (3 min) -- the 7-11 nearby is great -- the theater room is pretty dang cool.

Can't we just LIVE here?!

This place is BY FAR THE BEST place we've EVER stayed in! This is our second year returning to this rental and we never want to go anywhere else! We've stayed in huge houses on the beach and we've also stayed in motel rooms, so it's a happy medium in size, but as far as everything else, there's no place better. On top of never wanting to leave the house, the owners are as nice as they can be, they give you your privacy, but are very responsive with any questions or concerns. I didn't even step foot on the actual beach this year and it's the best vacation I've ever had! We're even considering trying to save up and book it for two weeks next year! I cannot say enough nice things about everything inside and out, including the owners. I just wish we would've found it sooner!

Great Time in the OBX

My wife and I had a great visit in Kitty Hawk while staying at the property. The location was excellent, a short walk to the entrance to the beach. In addition we were within two miles of anything you could want from restaurants to grocery stores. The pool on the property was wonderful and on our rainy day we enjoyed the arcade and movie theater. If you like tech gadgets this is the place for you, even had audio from the apartment out to two quality outdoor speakers for the pool area. Highly recommend and if we come back to Kitty Hawk would rent again!

Kid-Friendly, Comfortable Property

The place was clean, welcoming and well-stocked. My son really enjoyed the arcade and having his very own movie room. The wi-fi worked well and I was able to work remotely. The pool was clean and I felt very comfortable staying there with my family.
