Family Getaway

Our family had a lovely stay in Kathy's property. It was clean and tidy, enough space for our family of 7. Kathy was very accessible and helpful with local knowledge and checked in with us during our stay. We would love to return in the future.

Most enjoyable stay

This property is well maintained and has everything you could need during a stay. Location is so close to the beach, playgrounds, shopping, and restaurants. And not too far to theme parks. Great coffee just over the road too! As a family of 7 we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and there was plenty of room for everyone. Thanks for having us.

This property is in an amazing location. Everything was very clean, tidy and well presented. The owner has thought of everything. We visited with six children, one who is disabled, and we found everything to be easily accessible and convenient. We also had plenty of privacy for our family. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend!

Close to everything

Ok this unit was near and tidy, very comfortable and cheap compared to other places in the same location that didn’t seem as nice on the website. Ray to get a hold of the owner and she was very obliging to give out local info if needed. Enough items andr equipment were supplied so you don’t need to go out and buy anything except food. A nice place to stay.

Gold Coast family getaway

Great location. Perfect for our family with 4 children. Was the best property we have found so far for our kids. The kids room is a great feature and allowed the kids to really feel like they had their own hideaway. Property is very spacious and the kitchen is well stocked with all utensils etc you need to cook proper family meals. We enjoyed morning walks down to the beach and having Woolies on the way was very convenient. Communication from property owner was excellent and very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend and will be back !

Clean, good location

No issues and host was contactable with good communication. Only thing found was the beds were really hard, a mattress topper would of been great. And no aircon in the bedrooms. If it had of been hot they would of heated up. Only aircon in the living area.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Kathy was amazing. Great communication. House was awesome for the 5 of us (3 adults 2 kids). Kids loved having their own big room to play in. Location was perfect! Quite easy to get to most places of interest. Would definitely recommend for families.

Our mostly comfy stay

Our stay at the unit was mostly comfortable. Kathy was very approachable and acknowledging. Following are some good and bad points. Pros : 1. Very central location. Close to the beaches, public transport and other popular spots. 2. Kathy is a great host and fixed our issues straightaway. 3. Shady spot to park car at the front. 4. Sheets and towels were very clean. 5. Having both a Washing machine and a Dryer was very convenient. Cons : 1. The cupboards and shelves weren’t clean. 2. The bedrooms got very hot in the mornings and didn’t have ac. 3. Utensils, plates, bowls, cups and cutlery didn’t match (looked like a collection of random items). 4. Some insects in the house but that’s probably because of generally humid weather in Qld. 5. No smart tv - may be a problem if you have young children who like to watch certain things.

Perfect conference accomodation

This was a beautiful accommodation if you're visiting the GC convention centre for events and conferences. The only reason I took a 4/5 overall star rating is parking for other guests in your party (With only one reserved car park space for the unit, the on street parking was very limited for other guests in our party.), and just only 1 bathroom /toilet to share (so if we had a full house,that would have been problematic.other than that, it was clean, lovely styled and Kathy was super easy to communicate with.

Fantastic property, amazing location.

The unit is great for a family or 2 couples with kids. It is really well equipped, everything you need and more to be able to live comfortably. The owner is amazing and couldn’t have been more helpful. On site parking or parking on the street. A family could easily live at the unit
