Genießen Sie einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Lago Tabourie aus diese klassische 50er Beach House mit viel Charakter. Es bietet Platz für 8 Personen in 3 Doppelzimmern und 1 Zweibettzimmer. Das Haus liegt direkt am See, so dass Sie von der Haustür aus angeln, schwimmen oder Kanu fahren können.

Die unberührte, weiße Sandstrand ist nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß entlang Rand des Sees auf einem Busch Spur. Der South Beach (der sich bis nach Meroo erstreckt) ist für das Surfen bekannt, während der Nordstrand (der sich bis nach Wairo erstreckt) eher ruhiger und zum Schwimmen geeignet ist. Crampton Insel trennt die 2 Strände und können bei Ebbe durch eine Sandbank zugegriffen werden. Es ist toll für die Fischerei und die Erforschung Fels-Pools.

Lage und Umgebung

See Tabourie 10 Minuten südlich von Ulladulla gelegen, ca. 3 Stunden Fahrt von Sydney den südlichen Vororten und 2. 5 Stunden von Canberra.

In fußläufiger Entfernung bietet die lokale "Tabourie Tuckerbox" wichtige Lebensmittel, Zeitungen, gutes Essen zum Mitnehmen und einen Flaschenladen. Ein ausgezeichnetes Straßenrand Obststand betreibt hier Thurs - Montag. .

Ulladulla hat ein Kino, Coles (bis Mitternacht geöffnet), Woolworths, Aldi und andere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Nur 5 Minuten weiter nördlich liegt die historische Stadt Milton mit Antiquitäten- und Spezialitätengeschäften und großartigen Cafés.

Kanus können von Tabourie Caravan Park über dem See gemietet werden. 5 Autominuten nördlich ist Burrill Lake mit Minigolf, Tennisplatz mieten und großen Fisch und Chips.

Iconic Pigeon House Mountain ist nur eine kurze Fahrt durch Forststraßen für einen Familienausflug zu Fuß.

Great spot to explore the South Coast

Lovely relaxing spot to stay looking out over Lake Tabourie. House has everything you need, and pet friendly is a bonus. Short walk along the path to the beach - two beaches to choose from. Our favourite was snorkeling the southern side of Crampton Island. Five minute drive to Burrill Lake excellent fish and chips and french bakery. Five minute drive south to Bawley Point, great sheltered beach there too and a good express IGA. We hope to return.

Lovely little house right on the Lake

My family had a lovely, relaxing long weekend here. This beautiful little old house had everything we needed. The kids loved fishing & our dog loved to people watch from the back deck. We will definitely stay again in the future.

Family Get Together

We have stayed a handful of times at this place. We always have a relaxing time on the lake. The home is in the most perfect spot with very pleasant and friendly neighbours. Judy is quick to answer any questions. Look forward to our next stay.

Weather great,accommodation very comfortable with all facilities. Wonderful views of the lake from lounge room,very peaceful.. Fishing good from lake front. We were afamily of 80 year olds with fond memories 9f childhood holidays. Steps at back not good. Overall ticked all the boxes. Vwould definitely go back.

Magical place

We had a long weekend with relatives visiting from Germany. The view from the deck is magical and the short walk to the beach lovely. Proximity to Meroo NP a plus. The beach house is old but clearly lovingly maintained and has everything you need. Our dog enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the local dogs and their owners go by. My arms got a bit sore from rowing the boat on the lake while the kids captained but couldn’t have asked for a nicer weekend.

Relaxing break

A great holiday house that provides for a very relaxing break. It is nice to stay in holiday homes that have all the comforts and still retain the traditional, old-style holiday house architecture. The only mindful aspect is that some of these older houses, especially during the cooler months when there are fewer guests staying and they aren't opened up much, may have more damp and quite strong musty smells. Aside from opening doors during the day, I cleaned some of the mouldy spots off lounge room, hallway and bedroom walls that helped a bit. In spite of this, I'd happily stay again and recommend it to others but would look at staying again more likely during the warmer months when we would be able to keep windows and doors open.

Perfect lakeside family accommodation

We had a lovely time in Judy's home at Tabourie. The house had everything we needed and more. It reminded me of beach holidays from my own childhood - idyllic and wonderful. My teenage children loved being free to roam. WiFi would be a nice addition, but that's all that I would change. Thanks for having us.

Amazing location for family trip

We had a fabulous holiday at this property. Right from the front door we were able to fish or jump into the lake, either in swimmers or in our kayaks. The beach/lakes entrance is a very special place, and we felt the house had one of the best locations possible in Lake Tabourie. Our family of 4 plus two grandparents had plenty of space, and the beds were comfortable. There was plenty of utensils and cooking items, we mostly ate at the house and the extra large table in the eat in kitchen was great. Overhead fans in the bedrooms were a plus. The granny flat bedroom and ensuite were nicely finished and had practical touches like extra hooks. We stayed during a wet summer week and it would have been nice to have had the back verandah covered. The steps to the main house are quite steep and are not protected from the weather. The only reason we marked down cleaning is although all of the key surfaces and areas were immaculate (bathrooms, benchtops, floors), major cleaning of things like down the sides of the kids beds and window sills was due. We also appreciated the extra information Judy provided on the house and activities once booked. If you are wanting an idea of the feel of the property, it feels like a friend has lent you the keys to an old school family beach shack.

Fabulous lakeside holiday home

This was the perfect place for our family. Beautiful lakeside position, an easy stroll to the beach. The house was well equipped and catered for all our needs. Plenty of space with an additional granny flat with it's own bathroom. Judy, the host was fantastic and even organised a linen service for us. I highly recommend this property.

Great stay - would highly recommend!

My family enjoyed the June long weekend at the Lakefront beach house. It was a fantastic stay and the location is superb with views across Lake Tabourie and a short walk to surf beaches along a bush track. Don't let the age of the place put you off. Yes it is dated, but to me that is part of the charm and is what makes it attractive. It has been lovingly maintained - it has a functional kitchen; a well stocked pantry; a beautiful master bedroom for Mum and Dad; a good double room for two kids; a bedroom adjacent to the kitchen for Grandma; and, a studio outside with a bathroom. Aside from a good place for families, this place seems like it could be suitable for an artist's residence or for friends having a weekend away. Thanks for letting us stay, Judy. I would highly recommend!

A little piece of paradise

This house has everything you could need for a comfortable stay but the best part is the location - uninterrupted views across Lake Tabourie. No photos could do it justice. We stayed in winter so it was relatively quiet but was the perfect location for some much needed time to recharge the batteries. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely visit

Lovely understated cottage, the photos don’t do it justice, in a fabulous location. Great for teens and dogs, it was great to be able to walk to the beautiful beach and kayak from the door step. Well equipped kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you we will be back.
