Perfect Place to Stay

I can write so much about this little place. First of all, I have always stayed in a hotel but this time someone told me to go this route and I am so glad I did. Lisa was very responsive to answer my questions and I did have a lot. The Artistic Loft is beautiful. My mom and I needed a place to stay for a family wedding. We had a great time in Michigan City. Absolutely lovely!

My family (husband, 10 month old baby, and dog) stayed at the Wanderlust Loft for a long weekend getaway. We enjoyed every bit of the stay! The loft was beautiful, clean, stocked with anything we could ever need, and in a great location! The host had great suggestions for nearby things to do and places to eat. So close to Indiana Dune National Park and a short drive to Warren Dunes State Park in Michigan. Great coffee shops within walking distance too! We would love to stay again! Thank you so much for providing a beautiful & pet friendly place for travelers! :D

Great Loft in Quaint Artistic District

We had a great stay at Wanderlust! The loft is well appointed with all the amenities you could hope for. We loved all of the art and decor in the loft! It was fun and cozy! A great home away from home! There are local coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend Mucho Mas downstairs and next door. Our stay was only 3 nights and we ate at Mucho Mas twice! Highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

I lived my boho fantasy

I absolutely loved the vibe of this place. The decor is expertly curated; you can tell a lot of thought and love went into it. It felt like a space you'd find in a much bigger city. Bed was comfy, shower was spacious. Very walkable, and the sushi place downstairs was legit. This loft was my favorite part of my trip because the weather decided not to cooperate.

Wonderful Wanderlust Loft!!

The whole experience was just lovely! The artsy decor was so eclectic and fun while making it feel like a getaway from our everyday lives. The owners thought of everything, from bandaids to games to an umbrella, that we could possibly need. Fully stocked kitchen made it easy to entertain. What a hidden gem in Michigan City!

Wanderlust Loft

My husband, dog, and I stayed here for the week of Thanksgiving. The loft was exactly as described! Very clean, cool decor, and a great location. Not only was it well stocked for the humans, but there were also extra dog necessities like leash, treats, and poop bags. My husband and I loved it, and our dog was thrilled with the dog blankets and chew toy. Cannot recommend Wanderlust highly enough.

Beautiful!

Wow! This places was everything and more! The attention to detail is insane and beautiful and eclectic. Will definitely be recommending to people! I love that it is dog friendly and they had poop bags, dog blankets, treats and a variety of leashes. Also, it was so cool that so many things were labeled, specifically all of the light switches!! Even on my last day I was still finding little details I hadn’t noticed yet. Love and I can’t wait to come back!

The Wanderlust Loft Experience

I so enjoyed my stay at this property. First of all, it was clean and very well-stocked with linens, cookware, games. Mine was a solo trip but this property would be so nice for a small family or a girls' trip. The owner was so communicative - quick response to emails and great advice when asked, and she is very kind and accommodating. The space is perfectly configured for guests to socialize and enjoy each others' company. There are good restaurants literally steps away - be sure to get some sushi downstairs. I highly recommend this property to VRBO users.

Perfection

Between the location, amenities, and fabulous host, this property has it all. The vibrant interior fills you with energy. We walked downstairs for sushi and Mexican food and out to breakfast the morning we left. The neighborhood has two great breweries (we loved Zorn) The drive to the national park was a hop, skip, and a jump, so we were able to regroup between hikes. I wish we knew someone looking for accommodations in Michigan City. They would have to look no further. It’s perfect

Much needed long weekend

We had a great time at the loft. There are plenty of good eats within walking distance and plenty to do whether you prefer the casino or Indian Dunes National Park. Lisa made things easy for us and we look to visit again in the future.

Fun Loft

Thank you- We had a wonderful stay! Relaxing, comfortable and fun loft, with a very comfortable bed! We tired our dog out running up and down the stairs. Good food nearby, easy parking and beautiful beaches. We made a couple of day trips to nearby beaches with hiking trails, history and great views. Enjoy it, we did!

Great place!

We had a great stay at Wanderlust! It was very clean and the check in process was very easy. We were close to so many great restaurants and were able to walk to breakfast and dinner. Just a short drive to the beach was great too! We loved being able to have our dog with us, and she appreciated the added touch of milk bones available on her arrival! :) Thanks again for a great stay!!

Great girls weekend!

My 13 yo daughter and I stayed at Wanderlust for our annual end of summer girls weekend, and had a great time! We lucked out with Grand Prix and Taste of MC happening while we were in town. We loved our bird's eye view of the boat parade! We spent some quality time at the beach and shopping, and visited the zoo. Wanderlust is definitely on our list of places to visit again.

Loved my stay!

The Wanderlust property was perfect for my stay. I needed a place to take a 2 day online class away from the chaos of my own home. This property is located a short drive from the beach and within walking distance of the outlet mall-plus numerous locally owned restaurants. The space was immaculate and inviting. Wifi was reliable throughout my stay-important since the purpose of my stay was to work/attend class virtually. Free on street parking and always was easy to find a space. I booked in Michigan City hoping to spend some time at the beach, but rain ruined most of those plans. But that gave me a chance to really enjoy the space and all the decor. So many unique touches and pieces throughout. I was sad to have to leave and can't wait to stay here again.

With a colorful interiors, interesting artwork and comfortable furnishings, you will feel relaxed as soon as you arrive. Wanderlust Loft has a great urban feel when you wall downstairs and step on to the street and a few blocks away is Lake Michigan and Washington Park. You can enjoy sunsets and cocktails every evening from the rooftop of Fire and Ice.

You will need a whole month to experience all there is to see and do in Michigan City and the surrounding area. Also perfect for a Notre Dame Game Weekend!
