Disappointing Stay – Not as Advertised
Our stay at this property was disappointing enough that we decided to leave a day early, forfeiting our last night. While the place itself was clean and well-maintained, the biggest issue was the misleading description on the website.The listing claimed the property was private, but in reality, it was not. This was a major drawback for us, especially as a family with young children. The property is actually an extension of the host’s house, situated at the back and underneath their main residence. We could hear their living noises above us, which added to the lack of privacy. The courtyard, which we expected to be a relaxing retreat, was directly overlooked by their home, making it feel far from private. Additionally, the water feature in the courtyard was unclean and unappealing.Another minor point to note—there is no WiFi provided, which may be inconvenient for those who need it.As guests, we were respectful, quiet, and followed all house rules. I attempted to provide constructive feedback to the host, but they were unwilling to acknowledge our concerns. From our perspective, and based on the reality of the stay, this property does not match its advertised description.While this place may suit some guests, it was not the right fit for us and our young family. If privacy is important to you, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
