Vielen Dank für Ihr Interesse am Sand Trap Beach House. The Sand Trap befindet sich in der besten Gegend von North Beach im Monroe Park. Es ist nur wenige Schritte vom Strand entfernt. Keine Treppen oder Steigungen zum Strand. Der Sandfang verfügt über vier Schlafzimmer und 2 Vollbäder sowie eine zusätzliche Außendusche. Alle Schlafzimmer befinden sich im zweiten Stock. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett und ein Einzelbett. Es bietet eine 2. Etage mit Blick auf den See und den Strand. Das zweite Schlafzimmer hat ein französisches Bett, das dritte Schlafzimmer hat ein Doppelbett und das vierte Schlafzimmer hat zwei Einzelbetten. Das Familienzimmer verfügt über einen Fernseher und einen DVD-Player. Es gibt ein Esszimmer neben der Küche. Die Küche verfügt über alle Annehmlichkeiten, die Sie benötigen. Wenn Sie das Haus zum ersten Mal betreten, gibt es einen kleinen Wintergarten, in dem Sie gemütlich am Tisch sitzen und Karten spielen können. Die Vorderseite des Hauses hat eine Terrasse mit zwei Tischen und vielen Stühlen für Mahlzeiten im Freien.
Ab Sommer der Saison 2017: Wir haben den Sandfang renoviert. Es wurde gerade für den Sommer 2017 Mietsaison abgeschlossen. Wir haben die Küche und die beiden Badezimmer entkernt. Wir haben eines der Halbbäder in ein Vollbad umgewandelt. Ab der Mietsaison 2017 gibt es eine brandneue Küche und zwei neue Badezimmer und neue Fenster in 90% des Hauses.

Weitere Annehmlichkeiten: Weitere Annehmlichkeiten: Kostenloses WLAN, Klimaanlage (zentral), 2 Fernseher, Videorecorder, 2 DVD-Player, einer im Hauptschlafzimmer und einer im Familienzimmer. Gasgrill, Außendusche, neue Waschmaschine / Trockner. Küche: Backofen / Herd, Mikrowelle, Geschirrspüler, Müllabfuhr, Kaffeemaschine, Mixer, alles was man zum Kochen braucht. Die Fahrräder werden auf der Rückseite des Hauses aufbewahrt, aber wir können nicht garantieren, dass sie von Woche zu Woche in einwandfreiem Zustand sind. Viele Stühle zum Sitzen auf der Terrasse und zum Essen im Freien. Maximale Kapazität - 8 Erwachsene oder 10 insgesamt mit Kindern und Erwachsenen.

Amazing location

My family and I had an amazing stay at the Sand Trap. Location is excellent! Plenty of places to sit and hang out around the house inside & out. We loved the letter in the renters binder. The parking didn’t turn out to be an issue for us. House was equipped with everything needed for our short stay.

Great family week

The sand trap was in a wonderful location and we enjoyed the beach often! We had some concerns about parking but it turned out to not be a problem. There is not a beach attendant however and you may not purchase parking stickers from the police station. There are kiosks that you can use along the beach parking area to purchase those for the week. The bathrooms are very small but we made do. Stairs are steep and narrow and all bedrooms are upstairs. The kitchen, dining and living area are great and very spacious and the large porch on front of house is a plus as well as the very nice gas grill which we used several times. All in all a nice place to stay.

Great Location!!

This was our first year renting a house on North beach and we loved it! The house was a perfect location to go to the beach and also walkable to town. Could see sunsets from the master bedroom balcony and easily walk to the snack stand around the corner for a quick ice cream cone. The house was equipped with everything we needed for our family of 8. Look forward to coming back next year!!

Great vacation week!

Cottage was very clean, comfortable beds and updated appliances and gas grill! The two minute walk to the beach was the best part! Second story deck was amazing with views of the lake.

Sand trap great location

This is a sweet little cottage to make memories and our group did just that! The house is comfortable and is in great location from North Beach. The neighbors are lovely folks with a beautiful Monarch sanctuary. Our biggest challenge was the parking. What is not clearly stated on the VRBO listing is that there is no free parking onsite. South Haven does not have an attendant to purchase permits onsite at the beach. Rather an electronic kiosk at the beach or you have to use a parking Ap to pay by day or by week on any beach designated area which includes the retaining wall in Kalamazoo St. it is best to read the South Haven City site:southhavenmi.gov checkout parks and recreation/beach parking sticker

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was very functional. There was some construction nearby but nothing the host could control. We did not know how to use the Apple TV in the living room so our tv situation wasn’t as good as we expected. Thank you for the great stay!

Short stay but sweet location.

Great location although noisy construction going on all around during days of our stay and house smells strongly of natural gas when you walk in. Seems to get strong after water heater kicks in as we did not use heat while there . We kept windows open day and night gut due to this natural gas smell.

The Sandtrap

The property was ok … all the bedrooms are upstairs , and stairs were narrow and steep .so getting out luggage up and down took some effort …. The kitchen was nice , had about anything you needed … nice appliances … The evening before we left, there was no hot water , that was disappointing . We love the area , so we’ll come back here next year, but probably won’t rent the SandTrap again …

The Green House

There were 8 ladies all 76 years old the house was very convenient for all of us the stairs to upper part were not bad one lady slept on couch down stairs because she is with a walker but said the couch was very comfy. The only one thing the VCR was not plugged in and we were not sure what to do because there were no outlets for it but other than that the house was nice.

Mother/Daughter Trip

This property is a perfect location to be on the beach in less than 3 minutes! The house is older and has lots of diy work in it, as well as inconvenient electrical outlets (gals with lots of hair tools and Apple products😉) but it is a wonderful location so all those issues were secondary. The beds were all very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water and great water pressure. We had a bit of a gas smell scare but it turned out to probably be a gas grill nearby. Kari, the owner, was very responsive and helpful. The one thing that was inconvenient was the requirement to have towels washed, dried, and put away before checking out at 10:00 AM. Same for the dishwasher plus we had to wash off the outdoor tables and water the flowers each night. Places we have rented in other beach communities have never asked the put away job to be done. I have washed towels and dishes during longer stays but the most required before leaving was wash them and then the housekeepers would dry and put away. We have never had to put a final load away…just start it before leaving. We didn’t think we could get everything done and out by 10:00 so we opted to forego showering and dried our faces and hands with paper towels in the morning. Those instructions seemed like work when we wanted to have a more relaxed three days away. All in all, we had a great stay and the location would bring us back again, but wanted to explain why we couldn’t give 5 stars.

Amazing experience

We stayed for a week at the Sand Trap and could not have been happier with our experience. We’ve been vacationing in South Haven every summer for 6 years, and while we’ve never been disappointed with a home, this was our favorite spot. The house was in great condition and the location cannot be beat. You are steps away from the beach, ice cream, and morning coffee/baked goods at Bunde’s bakery. If you want to escape the action at the beach their patio was the perfect place for a quiet lunch or dinner. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to visit South Haven.

Wonderful stay at the Sand Trap

Great location in South Haven less than a block from North Beach on the Promenade. Large patio area out front for our whole family of eight. Nice sunroom in the front with an extra fridge for beach refreshments. Comfortable living room and well-stocked kitchen with modern appliances. Fantastic Weber gas grill out back just off the kitchen. Bedrooms were clean and beds very comfortable. Bathrooms were a bit tight, one on each floor. One minute walk to the beach, couple minutes to Bunde's, and 15-minute walk to Phoenix St. made the location perfect. Parking ended up working out fine as well with a couple spots out front on Kalamazoo. We had a wonderful week!

We renovated the Sand Trap last winter and it was completed spring of 2017. We gutted the kitchen and both of the bathrooms, and installed new windows in 90% of the house. The result is a brand new kitchen and two newly remodeled bathrooms.
