Was für ein Juwel! WindSong ist ein ABSOLUTES privates Haus direkt am Strand mit freiem Blick auf den Ozean und direktem Zugang zum Strand - keine Straße zu überqueren ... ..

Mit 2 King-Size-Schlafzimmer und zwei Einzel-Trundles, ist das Anwesen ideal für 4 Personen, kann aber 5 oder 6 bei Bedarf schlafen. Jedes Zimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Bad mit einer riesigen runden Whirlpool-Badewanne im Hauptbadezimmer mit Blick auf die privaten Gärten rund um WindSong.

Die blendende "Koch" -Küche ist mit hochwertigen Armaturen und Zubehör ausgestattet und die fabelhafte Sonnenterrasse ist ein großartiger Ort für unterhaltsame, mit herrlichem Blick auf Guichen Bay. Der gesellige Wohnbereich blickt durch große Glastüren hinaus auf den Ozean und auf die nahegelegenen Baudins Felsen.

Genießen Sie im Winter ein knisterndes Kaminfeuer mit magischen Ausblicken entlang der Küste, und für den Sommerkomfort steht eine Klimaanlage mit Reverse-Cycle-Funktion zur Verfügung.

Das Anwesen besteht aus einer wunderschönen, geschützten Parklandschaft und bietet absolute Abgeschiedenheit mit viel Platz für Gäste und vierbeinige Freunde. Hunde Besucher sind herzlich willkommen und es gibt auch ein eingezäuntes schattiges Hundedeck mit Snoozern.

Es gibt einen fabelhaften Obstgarten auf dem Grundstück und Gäste sind herzlich eingeladen, frische Maulbeeren, Feigen, Pflaumen und Äpfel in der Saison zu pflücken.

Perfect Location

Loved our all too short stay. Finding a beautiful house that is dog friendly isn’t easy but this, this was a winner! Quiet and secluded with beach access to a practically private beach. Views were incredible and house was modern and practical. Thank you for allowing us to share these little holidays with our four legged friends.

Fabulous Place to Unwind

Windsong is a fabulous place to stay either in winter or in summer. We've had a great time both times. We love our 'private' beach and the house has everything you need. We love it!

This is a beach shack

If you are looking for a beach shack and don’t care about the state of the carpets etc. then this place will be fine for you. The location was excellent and you can see seals on Baudin Rocks if you bring a telescope which was a nice surprise. The house is a bit smelly and the carpets and bedding are really not very nice… bring your own pillow perhaps. There was a left over meal in the oven from a previous guest and there was one bar of soap so bring plenty of your own toiletries. Also be aware that there is only 1 tap in the house that you can consume the water from.

Immaculate, extremely clean, dogs allowed inside.

This was our 3rd visit to WindSong and we were not disppointed! The whole house was spotless and when we arrived late afternoon, the lights were on, bags of treats were there for our dogs and a bottle of wine for the humans to enjoy. The serenity of WindSong is magical and you can feel yourself relaxing as soon as you arrive. One of our dogs doesn't cope well with strangers or unknown dogs and we love that our dogs can enjoy the beach with little fear of unexpected arrivals. If we do see people and/or dogs in the distance, it gives us plenty of time to get him up the stairs and back to the safety of the house without him panicking. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at WindSong and will definitely be coming back to enjoy another relaxing and peaceful holiday.

Quiet and peaceful

This is secluded spot with no neighbouring noise. Great to rest and recharge which is mainly due to the location, view and sea air. The house is at the very end of the street and marked as number 47 rather than the street number given on the check in notes. Arriving in the dark would be a nightmare. The requested beds weren’t made up when we arrived and we were given linen but left to make the bed which is not an ideal start to a holiday. The property feels like everything needs a slight refresh. Oil on door sliders, drains cleared and the the lights and overhead fan batteries checked. The outdoor seating area was not cleaned, with other people’s clothes and towels left under the cushions. House is comfortable and nice enough but could be an exemplary experience with a good clean and some attention to details. Dog friendly but not secure enough to leave pets outside alone, families with small children would struggle too. Nice proximity to the beach with a short walk through scrub, and again some maintenance of that walkway and steps to the beach would make it easier for older guests to access.

Beautiful location with direct beach access to quiet secluded beach. Great location for dogs; however unfortunately the bluebottles were out in force and our dogs are silly enough to try and investigate them! Will be back in the warmer months.

Relaxing Sea Escape

We really enjoyed our stay at Windsong. Perfect location quite location and only 15 mins drive to stunning Robe. Our pooches enjoyed morning runs along which seemed like our very own private beach literally out the back. Looking forward to visiting again.

Great location, but...

Great spot, however, the online description and photos are quite old. The outdoor area was not set up and the property needs maintenance or the photos updated to truly reflect the current state and restricted view due to overgrown vegetation. The carpet in main bedroom smelt quite bad the entire time of our stay. While the property welcomes dogs there is no fenced area around the yard just a small enclosed deck back of the house. Somewhat challenging with small dogs. The beach is lovely and private even during peak season, however, we did find it suitable for swimming due to rocks and seaweed.

We stayed with our two dogs and they absolutely loved it - so did we! Well equipped kitchen, comfy cosy bed, wood fire, pantry stocked with bits and pieces you might forget. Would absolutely go back.

Peace, nature and comfort - Right on the beach!

We had a wonderful time at Windsong over a Wintery weekend The property is amazing! So unique with the stairs right on the back doorstep, to a secluded, quiet beach. We didn't see anyone else any time we went down there. We really appreciated having a large, interesting garden to explore, and access to the orchard. The house was also extremely well equipped! We cooked both nights in the excellent kitchen, having access to herbs, spices, cooking oil, and all the other utilities in the drawers and pantry was so helpful - an excellent touch. We stayed in playing some of the provided board games in front of the BEAUTIFUL fire. There was plenty of DVDs and Books also for entertainment - great for a longer stay. Our little dog Rory absolutely loved her time there as well, and she made regular use of the doggy snoozer beds and multiple water bowls, around the place. Very dog friendly with the securable front deck area and thoughtful having this all set up and ready for our arrival. We were also left with a lovely bottle of Cape Jaffa wine in the fridge - and milk to make our tea & coffee easier. We did have a couple of little things that could use attention, and have passed on the the owners to look at. - coffee machine not working - both shower heads need cleaning for better pressure - glass sliding doors were a bit stuck, need some TLC. All of these were minor details that did not hamper our stay. We also suggest bringing some extra towels if you have a few people staying - we used the ones provided and our own from home for ourselves and our dog. We're already talking about how we'd love to come back and stay in summer so we could use the back entertaining deck area, bbq and swim at the beach! It's definitely an all seasons little escape, that is perfect for couples or small families.
