Waterfront Ferienhaus auf Butlers Cove aus Budd Bay in South Puget Sound in der Nähe von Olympia. Hütte befindet sich 13 Meter vom Rand des Wassers. Boot, schwimmen bei Flut; Strand Kamm bei Ebbe. Ruhig, bewaldeten Hektar, in dem Sie können Rehe, Adler, Reiher und andere Wildtiere und Vögel zu beobachten. 27 Schritte (Zement) mit Handlauf nach unten vom Parkplatz bis zum Haus.
Perfekte Lage für die Besucher des Evergreen State College oder an der State Capitol. Gute Wahl für ein romantisches wegkommen oder für einen Familienurlaub. Cabin ist fünf Minuten von West Olympia (wo Sie Skep `n Skein Pub, Vics Pizza, Lebensmittelgeschäfte, Lebensmittel Co-op, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants sowie Kinos und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Capitol Mall zu finden), und zehn Minuten von der Innenstadt von Olympia ( Live-Theater, Hafenpromenade, Yachthäfen, Hands On Kindermuseum, Restaurants, Fisch Brauerei / Gasthausbrauerei, und das State Capitol Campus).
Guter Ausgangspunkt für Besuche in Washington Küste und Olympic Peninsula sowie Mt. St. Helens und Mt. Rainier.

Time away from home with the pup

We spent the weekend relaxing and letting the dog swim in the bay. He loved it so much. The place was clean and cozy. Restaurants and shopping were close by. We were sent all the information to let ourselves in ahead of time. We will definitely stay there again.

Holiday oasis

We always enjoy our stay. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought and love into this place and all the details they've put into it. Perfect place for Olympia winter when the weather can change one minute to the next. You will be happy just sitting by the wood stove looking at the ducks through the picture window.

Just stayed for the one night, but will definitely try coming back in the summer. Really great amenities and a comfortable bed with nice pillows. Peace, trees, and water

A lovely cabin right on a finger of the Sound. One can watch the ducks swimming and the tide go in and out. So much care taken to provide comfort for the guests. I would recommend this cabin to anyone.

Real gem of a place

Peaceful and comfortable

We only stayed one night, but the location was quiet and lovely on the inlet. There are a decent number of steps down from the parking area to the cottage, but we knew that upfront, so it was fine. All in all a nice setting to relax after a day of travel.

Hosts Debby/Bob are wonderful! The cottage was well equipped with cooking utensils; spices and a breakfast nook; coffee; pancakes. The setting off Budd Inlet is lovely!Use of two kayaks was an added bonus ! We were able to explore Budd inlet ; starfish; harbor seals; deer; blue herons! We will definitely return !

Peaceful Olympia Retreat

We had a wonderful stay in Olympia while visiting our family. The cabin was the perfect retreat after busy days. The setting is beautiful, the cabin well stocked and maintained and the hosts were gracious. Highly recommended!

Amazing place

Probably the best place I have stayed! Peaceful, well-stocked, and they even let us use the wood stove! Low tide made for nice beach walks, with lots of shells. Even saw a red fox chasing the ducks. Hopefully we get a chance to stay here again some day.

Quiet Retreat

We always enjoy staying here.My adult children were happy to use the kayaks. I cooked dinner every night and had everything needed kitchenwise to do that.We had a nice restful stay. We can't wait until our next visit.

Quiet and Relaxing with everything you need

My husband and I stayed at the cabin for a quick 2 night get-away. We appreciated all the nice touches, like providing cream or oat milk for the coffee, and chilled glasses already in the freezer. Also everything was very well labeled which you don't see often! I watched ducks, herons, otters and even a seal swim by as the tide came in - it was lovely. A very peaceful location!

No unhappy surprises at the place

I have heard people complain about rentals not being what they seem in the listing. This place is even better than the listing. So peaceful and very very clean. Even in the areas a lot of cleaners miss. It smelled fresh but not perfumed, which is really important to me. The owner took the time and expense to supply a lot of extra things that made it feel very welcoming. The area is super quiet and private. I think I only saw one other person on the road the whole time we were here. Thanks Deb!

Comfortable Stay with Beautiful Views

I stayed at this VRBO listing for 2 nights with my husband. We were able to find the cabin and walk down to steps and get settled in. We greatly appreciated the milk and snacks that was left for us by Deborah. It was nice that 2 kayaks and a row boat (with life jackets) are made available but on one day, there was low tide and the next day was raining so we were unable to take any of these out. We greatly appreciated the use of the washer and dryer and also made use of the kitchen. This cabin had everything that we needed (and more) during our short stay. I would love to stay here again the next time I visit the area.

Summer holiday weekend

This cottage is in a lovely, secluded location with easy access to Olympia and other natural areas. It was very comfortable staying here with immediate access to the water during high tide; the owners generously leave kayaks and a rowboat for guests to use. Inside, all details have been considered from a fully equipped kitchen to finding sunscreen and bug repellant in the bathroom. This is a casual and slightly rustic accommodation but perfect for going in and out in the summer and being able to dine or just relax on the multiple decks. My family loved staying here and we hope to return!

Felt like home

We had the pleasure of staying 5 nights at the cabin and it did not disappoint. The mornings were cool and the evenings peaceful. There were just enough personal touches to make our experience feel like home. The location was perfect with all the necessities a short drive away. The city of Olympia was also fun to walk around. Overall our stay was just what we needed. We would definitely recommend this to our family and friends and would consider returning ourselves in the future.

My family has owned this waterfront cottage since 1982. We lived there full time for 11 years before building a larger house to accommodate our growing (now grown) children. We continue to vacation at the cottage, hold family gatherings, or just go over for a walk on the beach or for an outing in the rowboat, kayaks, or paddleboards. We live not far away from the cottage so if you need anything while you are there, have questions, need directions or referrals, etc., we are usually nearby to be of assistance. The cottage is set up like a home and you will be quite comfortable there.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We fell in love with the property the minute we first saw it in June 1982. The cottage is nestled at the base of a hill on an acre of forested land. The road to the property is a windy country road that hugs a forested hillside. The second you drive onto the road, you feel the cooler temperature, smell the forest and the water. You give a relaxing sigh. Ah, relaxation. From the deck of the cottage, you are only 13 feet from the shore edge and you can watch the tides come in and out, and view the wildlife: deer, seal, blue heron and other sea birds, king fishers, salmon, river otters and more. A wonderful place to relax.

Close to town but it feels like you are miles away. Downtown Olympia and the State Capitol are 10 minutes away; The Evergreen State College is 5 minutes or less. Major grocery stores, shopping centers, service stations, movie and live theatres, pubs, restaurants, churches, museums, medical offices and the hospitals are within minutes. Plenty of solitude and privacy. Even though you are only minutes from Hwy 101 or Interstate 5, it feels like you are out in the country, in a quiet, private retreat.
