Dieses schöne, sonnige Vorderhaus liegt nur einen Steinwurf vom schönen Queens Park und 1 0 Minuten zu Fuß vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Das Haus hat eine Wärmepumpe mit einer Leistung von 8,0 kW, aber der sonnige Aspekt erwärmt dieses Haus so gut.
Eine weitere Attraktion ist der Blick auf den Queens Park von den Fenstern in voller Länge und von der Veranda.
Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein sehr komfortables neues Queensize-Bett und einen doppelten Kleiderschrank. Das zweite Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein neues Kingsize-Bett, das bei Bedarf in zwei Einzelbetten aufgeteilt werden kann.
Im zentralen Badezimmer befinden sich eine Dusche und eine Badewanne sowie ein separates WC nebenan.
Das offene Leben mit einer riesigen Couch passt gut zur ordentlichen Küche.
Das Parken abseits der Straße einschließlich einer Garage ist ein netter Bonus.

Lovely house in a great location when in Invercargill. Right next to the beautiful Queens gardens which has a lot of areas to explore, yet a short drive to the city centre and other attractions.

Outstanding Invercargill Stay

We would give a 6 star rating to this property if we could. Immaculate, beautiful inside and out. The beds were really comfy, as was the living room furniture. Very well appointed and spacious. The front deck faces a quiet street and overlooks a magnificent garden. The property is located 700 meters from downtown, and is a lovely walk. Highly recommend a stay here.

Lovely property

We had a lovely stay at this property. Enjoyed Queens park very much. The park has a fabulous rose garden. We only had to walk down two houses and cross the street and we were in the park. Nice location.

Great accommodation, well located, lovely hosts.

The house is well maintained, has a pretty garden, plenty of rooms, and a kitchen with everything you would need. It's handy to the city and very close to Queens Park, which is stunningly beautiful and by itself worth a stay in Invercargill. Gordon and Viv were lovely hosts - we met them when we arrived a bit early just as they were finishing up getting the place ready. Highly recommended.

What a lovely clean place

We thoroughly enjoyed spending our last couple of days in NZ at Gordon and Viv’s property. The house is clean and well-equipped with everything you may need for your stay and much bigger than I thought it would be. Our doggie also enjoyed sniffing in the beautiful garden and in the park across the road. Gordon and Vic are also very helpful and responsive hosts. Thanks so much!

Comfortable and Spacious

We enjoyed our 2 nights at this house. The heat pump wasn't on when we arrived but it didn't take long to warm up the house even though it was a very cold day in Invercargill. The house is very spacious and comfy and had everything needed to make our stay comfy. The bed was comfortable (but the pillows were too thick for our liking - small issue) Great location - very close to a nice walk in the beautiful Queen's Gardens and a fabulous little coffee shed just around the corner on Kelvin St (Groove Espresso). We would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone else.

Great house to stay in

House was lovely, clean tidy and warm. Invercargill didn't gift us with lovely weather so it was nice to have a bit a room to move - rather than being stuck in a little motel with kids! Will definitely be back, so great that its right across from queens park, kids loved it!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay with my dog. Great location to the CBD and Queen St., Park. Unfortunately had bad weather so wasn’t able to enjoy the patio but a very nice garden. Highly recommend!

Awesome stay

We loved staying at this home, had everything we needed, warm and comfortable. Walk cross the road and you are in a fab park and a lovely cafe. Gordon was an awesome host with great communication and made our stay very relaxed.

Gordon and Viv have been in the Invercargill area since 1994 . Gordon was born in UK and met Viv on her Overseas Experience ( O E ) at a barn dance in Oxford UK !
Viv's family is from Cheviot North Canterbury and so after getting married on the hill country family home in 1990 and settling back to Devon UK the offer of a job when visiting in 1993 was accepted ! Gordon worked for MAF( Agriculture New Zealand ) from Invercargill and stayed with Agriculture New Zealand working from Gore as well .
In 1997 they purchased their slice of heaven ( 37 Acres ) in Hedgehope 25 minutes north of Invercargill . Their two adult Kids (!) Ellen and Ben enjoyed a country style up bringing . Ellen was born in Torquay Devon and Ben Invercargill .
Every 3 years they would go back to the UK and break the journey up in Los Angeles so Disney land was a great treat !
As a family they have travelled to many places in the world and got to understand what's important to travellers . The essentials are a clean tidy set up with comfortable mattresses !! They have put these experiences to good use in setting up two BOOKABACH houses in Te Anau and have now added this Invercargill property to their Portfolio . They recognise the uniqueness that Southland has to offer and now with the Auckland - Invercargill direct flights they knew this was the perfect opportunity to offer a clean and tidy place to stay at a new gateway to the Deep South of New Zealand.
They are really pleased with this house and look forward to sharing it with you !

Close by is the The Bill Richardson Museum , Burt Munro and Motorcycle museum , the lovely Queens Park and the10 pin bowling alley to name a few . Stadium Southland is always busy with events too . For the business people this property is a short walk back into town with the comfort of home and many eateries so close by !
