Das Wonga Beach House ist eines der ursprünglichen Häuser von Tathra, das kürzlich renoviert wurde, um die ideale Lage auf der Landspitze über dem preisgekrönten Tathra Beach zu nutzen. Das Haus befindet sich in einer natürlichen Buschlandschaft mit herrlichem Blick von der Terrasse und dem Grundstück.
Wonga ist privat und abgeschieden und ein idealer Ort zum Entspannen. Große, offene Wohnbereiche und polierte Holzböden führen auf ein riesiges Deck, auf dem Sie die Vogelwelt in Hülle und Fülle genießen können.
Schlafen Sie im Rauschen der Wellen! Im Obergeschoss befinden sich zwei große und luftige Queen-Size-Schlafzimmer und Schlafbereich mit zwei Einzelbetten. Es gibt auch eine King Delta 11 Lounge im Erdgeschoss, die entweder in ein Queensize-Bett oder zwei Einzelbetten umgewandelt werden kann, eine moderne Küche, zwei Badezimmer und einen großen Wohnbereich.

Wonga ist ein idealer Ort, um Ihren Urlaub zu genießen, da es nur ein kurzer Spaziergang zum wunderschönen, bewachten Tathra-Strand zum Surfen, Schnorcheln oder Entspannen ist.
Tathra ist umgeben von herrlichen Mimosa und Bournda Nationalparks und Reservaten mit Wanderwegen, wunderschönen Stränden, unberührten Flussmündungen und Flüssen, die darauf warten, erkundet zu werden. Genießen Sie Kajakfahren, Angeln und Bootfahren in Mogareeka am Fluss Bega oder organisieren Sie einen Seecharter von Kianninny.
Lokale Geschäfte und Restaurants sind alle zu Fuß erreichbar, ebenso wie der historische Kai von Tathra. Genießen Sie die vielen Galerien in unmittelbarer Nähe. Tanja nördlich von Tathra ist bekannt für seine Galerien und Ateliers. Fabulous!

Comfortable and spacious in a great location for exploring Tathra and beyond. Well-equipped kitchen and loads of wood for the fire. Close neighbour but privacy maintained. Fantastic hosts who were very responsive and accommodating. Thank you so much Louise & Toby.

A lovely house in gorgeous setting

The house had an excellent feel and we loved being so close to the beach, and the wildlife. Very well equipped, and lovely to sit out and eat. The sleeping area between the bedrooms (4 single beds) was very open to all and had no blinds, the access to bathroom went through this space.

Idyllic setting close to the beach

Very nice and quiet location. Close to the beach and all local shops and pub. Very well kitted out kitchen with lots of everything. As listed, there is no wifi, but didn’t really matter to us.

Relaxing getaway close to the beach and nature

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Wonga House. We enjoyed the location being so close to the beach and hearing the waves at night when sleeping. Hearing and seeing all the bird life and enjoying a drink out on the verandah. The house was very spacious for the 2 of us and had everything that we needed.

Low Key Beach Holiday….Exactly what was required

We loved our 4 night stay at Wonga. I especially loved that there is no WiFi, as our kids were more than happy to play board games rather than iPads. Listening to the ocean whilst enjoying an afternoon drink on the deck is heaven. Short walk down to the beach, definitely take the official beach path. Quick 5 min walk to the Wharf & Pub. Wonga Beachhouse is a great base to explore the Sapphire Coast.

How fantastic! We arrived at Wonga Beach House just after dark and when we got up the next morning we couldn't quite believe how fabulous the location was right on the beach! Beautiful views from a great house just right for our two families. Long breakfasts on the deck overlooking the beach were spectacular. We even managed a few swims on Saturday when the weather was warm. We had a terrific short stay and plan to make longer bookings in the future.Highly recommended.

Fantastic Spot

What a wonderful location! There couldn't be many locations in Tathra from which one can easily walk to both the wharf/hotel/general store and to the main beach strip, but one can from here! Absolutely stay here if you can. Following for information and don't detract from the enjoyment of the property. (Very) minor cons: No Wi-fi, but mobile reception is fine so this isn't a problem. Back lounge is a little musty - this room is pretty much only for watching TV and we basically didn't use it. Layout is odd, and the single beds are on the first-floor landing, not quite a room - still fine for the kids. A little hard to find the first time; the lower entrance will have the uninitiated wondering just why they are apparently driving down a footpath..

Lovely girls weekend away

We stayed for 3 nights, we very much enjoyed the sunny deck which also has two shady sections. The lawn area is lovely with bbq. Cant beat the fire pit with the absolute best view of the beach. House was great, location great, very quiet, secluded and bushy with just the sounds of nature and the waves crashing. The only downside to mention about the property is you are right above the beach but the path to get to the beach is very difficult/dangerous, otherwise I would take my kids, we are all around 30yrs old and was not easy. We didn't go to the beach much as the track is too difficult, especially the hill at the bottom. Some reviews mention beach access but depends on what you call access. All in all perfect house for our weekend, thoughly enjoyed.

A perfect stay

Wonga beach house exceeded our expectations. So spacious, yet homely. Gorgeous outlook from upstairs and down. Even though it rained most the time - we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the balcony & listening to the waves, taking walks on the beach, whale watching and dinner at the Tathra Hotel - not to mention Wapengo waffles! The house had a great kitchen that had everything we needed to cook at home too. Thank you for a wonderful stay - we will be back! Mary and family x

Lovely house, great location, we will definitely return

The house is big enough for a family of four/five, it is located in a very quiet neighbourhood, this was a big plus for our family. You can walk to the Tathra Hotel as well as to the small grocery store and the bottle shop, very convenient. Communication with the owner was very good, any question or requests were answered promptly. There is no wifi at the house, it didn't bother us, but it might be important to other families. I can recommend Wonga Beach House wholeheartedly, we will return for sure.

Fabulous Uni Reunion

What a delight. Great presentation and everything we needed was available. The short walk to cafes, shops and the pub meant we didn't need to drive at all. The beach was close by and fabulous, even for a quick swim. Loved sitting on the deck in the sun shine listening to the waves roll in, and the fire place with plenty of fire wood kept us cosy during the evenings. Highly recommended.

Great bushy location

Our family group, 5 adults, found the place well equipped and decorated with some lovely art work. It was an easy walk to the restaurant and the pub, which was good. Lots of games and you could watch a movie in peace if you wanted tp.
