Geräumige und luxuriöse Berghütte mit einer Vielzahl von Zimmern, von Einzelzimmern mit Kingsize- oder Queensize-Betten bis zu einem großen Loft mit ausreichend Platz und Betten für 4 Personen. Eingebettet in die Ausläufer in der Nähe des Pine-Flat-Damms brüllt der Kings River direkt unter der von Eichen umgebenen Hütte. Erkunden Sie für einen ruhigen Kurzurlaub oder einen längeren Aufenthalt die Schönheit des Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park. Dies ist der perfekte Ort, um Ihre Koffer abzustellen und die Nacht zu verbringen oder einfach in der Kabine abzuhängen.

Da wir eine Berghütte sind, sind wir komplett vom Netz (NICHT der Gnade von PG & E ausgeliefert) und das ist unserer Meinung nach eine gute Sache. Wir werden zu 100% von einer Solaranlage und 2 Backup-LP-Generatoren angetrieben, um Ihren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. In diesem Sinne haben wir kürzlich eine EV-Ladestation installiert, damit unsere Gäste mit Elektrofahrzeugen in der Kabine aufladen können. Wir sind auch dabei, den Platz für Rollstuhlfahrer zugänglich zu machen.

Da unser Solarsystem allein ohne die Unterstützung der LP-Generatoren NICHT genug Strom für die gesamte Kabine produzieren kann, sollten Sie uns beim Sparen helfen, indem Sie den Fernseher und andere Geräte ausschalten, wenn Sie sie nicht verwenden. Wir bedanken uns für Ihr Verständnis und Ihre Mitarbeit.

Wenn Sie zum Tor kommen, gibt es eine 1,6 km lange Schotterstraße, die zum Haus führt. Bitte gehen Sie besonders vorsichtig auf und ab, da es an einigen Stellen windig und steil ist. Es könnte auch Verkehr in die andere Richtung geben. Vorgeschlagene Höchstgeschwindigkeit ist 10 Meilen pro Stunde. Das nächste Lebensmittelgeschäft befindet sich in Sanger. Es gibt einen neuen Mini-Mart, der gerade 6 Meilen westlich des Hauses eröffnet wurde. Da wir mit solarbetriebenen Batterien völlig vom Stromnetz getrennt sind, kann es vorkommen, dass die Lichter flackern und der Fernseher zurückgesetzt wird, wenn der Notstromgenerator einschaltet.

Bitte stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie sich auf Ihrem Weg nach oben mit Vorräten versorgen, da wir mindestens 20 Minuten vom nächsten Lebensmittelgeschäft entfernt sind.

Wonderful Mountain Cabin

We definitely enjoyed our stay in this place, which we used as our launching pad to the nearby national parks. The cabin was spacious, clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. We enjoyed watching the sunrises and sunsets off the back deck overlooking the valley, river and hills below us. Probably the best part was the solitude and peaceful setting up on the hillside. There were only some minor issues that cropped up but were quickly dealt with by the resident property managers. We had an enjoyable time here and I would definitely recommend this place!

Great house

I had a great time here. Gorgeous views in a huge house. Phu was welcoming and kind. Only issue we had was the AC unit struggling. The house was really hot at all times. The bedrooms were fine temperature wise but the rest of house was hot.

Stunning....beyond expectations.

This place is amazing and the manager (Phu) is above and beyond. Our stay was wonderful. Just relaxing or eating breakfast on the back porch is something that we will keep in our minds as a 'happy place' forever. The views are tremdous and all of the landscaping, flowers, and the Koi pond reminded us of home. Absolutely perfect. We really didn't want to leave for our planned excursions and our last day we did actually cancel our plans just to be able to enjoy this place all day.

Perfect, secluded retreat!

This was a clean, gorgeous property and the pictures do not do it justice! The scenery is phenomenal and such a welcomed change from city life. Beautiful Property with amazing views

This house is marvelous! It is a mile up a dirt road with a breath taking view of the valley below. There is a ton of space for everyone. The owner lives on the property and is incredibly gracious and we had some great conversations. He is also very attentive to anything you should happen to need while you're there. All of us who stayed (11 of us) had a great time and we are all trying to find excuses to go back and stay again.

Amazing view

The place is huge. It’s amazing. It’s quiet. The on site owner was super helpful and accommodating. We didn’t realize they lived downstairs and we were pretty loud the first night. We tried to keep it down after that but they never asked us to so I guess it maybe wasn’t as Loud to them. The whole stay was incredible. If you want serenity, this is the place.

Best Christmas Ever

Everything was Beautiful and Comfortable and the owner was always accessible because he lives on the first floor of the cabin and rents the other two floors, the only issue is that there is no music to be on after 10pm in the cabin but outside you can have the music until what ever time, the owner is a great person he set us up fire 🔥 for the marshmallows to make s’mores for the kids both nights and a bbq and he even joined us one night! Can’t wait to come bake to this beautiful place, and it has a beautiful view because we were very very high and it wasn’t cold at all

Breathtaking views

We throughly enjoyed our stay. Phu was so welcoming. The rooms were more than adequate and so clean! We would definitely stay here again. Charlie and Jeff the dogs on the property are an added bonus.

Yosemite trip

Very spacious home away from it all...literally. Beautiful views! We enjoyed our time here very much. Not being familiar with the area (and being from Nebraska), we didn't realize the time it would take to get to the National Parks. The windy roads.....in Nebraska you can go 20 miles in 20 minutes not the case in this area. Still worth the time!

Amazing views and serene setting

This is an amazing place to relax and get away from it all. The home is lovely and comfortable and the views are tremendous. We enjoyed coffee on the large balcony each morning, which was a very nice departure from our otherwise busy lives. Pine Flat Lake has some nearby activities and our kids loved playing at the King's River at the foot of the property. Sequoia / King's Canyon is about an hour away too. It's definitely a nice place that we would consider returning to in the future.

Beautiful getaway

Everything about renting this property was amazing and easy. It wasn’t stressful at all and the person we rented from was very welcoming, kind, and helpful. The property was absolutely stunning, safe, clean, and the views are really out of this world. I’d definitely book there again.

Best Christmas Ever

We wanted an out of the way beautiful setting house with lots of room for our family to celebrate Christmas and we found it in this special place. Truly it was designed for us. It even had a nursery for our 3 month old grandson. The host had it decorated like something off a Christmas postcard and everything was amazing. In spite of rainy weather several days we all truly enjoyed it. He even built us a bonfire the last night. This place is special. We will be back. It was magical.

Perfect vacation

This was the perfect retreat for our extended family to get together after a wedding in Paso. Although the fires kept us from Sequoia and Kings Canyon, Yosemite was still close enough for a day trip and the views from the home made us feel like we were in a national park for the whole stay! The owners live on the first floor which made it convenient for recommendations and learning about the area. Would definitely recommend this secluded and scenic vacation.

We had such an amazing time and stay in this beautiful property!

The owners were super friendly and their off the grid system is really cool! Their property was so comfy and great place to chill and relax! Definitely would rent again :)

Awesome Property, Awesome Vacation

We had an amazing stay at this house. The owners were super responsive and gracious, answered questions and made us comfortable through the entire stay. We loved chatting with the owner in the evening and learning about the region and the history of the home. The kids loved the loft upstairs, playing pool, and meeting the dogs and cats and koi fish! My parents loved the spacious kitchen and we all enjoyed the deck and million dollar view! Such a great vacation!

Family Nat'l Park Tour

This property was the perfect location for our two families to tour three national parks. Oper floor plan, great cooking facilities and gorgeous views from the deck. Phu and Charlie the dog were attentive and friendly host!!!!

Awesome Property but No Privacy

This is an amazing property in wonderful location with few shortcomings. Pros: Great Location Beautiful house Lots of space Kitchen has a lot of stuff Cons: 1) There are tons of windows for great views but no curtains. Co-host can be looking thru any window anytime with or without our knowledge. First day, co-host had a ladder near on of the window and was pretending to be working on something while peeping into the house for very long time. 2) On the first night, we were discussing about adding couple more people due to change in plan and was going to tell the co-host but he told us before we could inform him. As if he heard our conversation. Not sure there were any video/audio devices inside home. 3) There was a problem with cooling system and we sent a message to get it fixed. I was waiting near the front door to let him in and stay with him while he fixed. But to my surprise, co-host was inside the house thru some other door. Very creepy. He had to go in and out couple of times and I couldnt catch him anytime as I was not sure from which door (interior door) he might show up. 4) This was a property in the middle of no where. We booked this kind of place for a reason. To have fun. But Co-host has constant complaints even with walking in the house after 10PM. Privacy was a big issue in the house.

Guests will have full access to the main floor and top floor of the cabin with complete privacy. The separate basement level is reserved for our family with separate entrance.
