Uproot Family Farms ist ein ruhiger und friedlicher Ort mit wunderschönem Blick auf den Teich und die Berge. Auf unserer Veranda können Sie sich entspannen und die wunderschönen Sonnenuntergänge hinter den Bergen beobachten. Wir sind nur 20 Meilen von der schönen Innenstadt von Greenville und 40 Meilen von Asheville, North Carolina. Wir sind auch nur 19 km vom FENCE Equestrian Center entfernt, in der Nähe von Tryon NC mit Wander-, Angel-, Schwimm-, Apfel- und Pfirsichplantagen und malerischen kleinen Städten. Die große Wohnung befindet sich oberhalb unseres Eigenheims, ist jedoch komplett privat und hat einen eigenen Eingang. Ideal für große Familien oder Gruppen. Genießen Sie die Ruhe des Bauernlebens ohne die Hausarbeit. Genießen Sie es, unsere Enten zu füttern, eine Schnur in unseren Teich zu werfen (Fang- und Freigaberichtlinie, wir lieben unseren Fisch) oder am Kamin zu sitzen und einfach zu atmen.

Great place to stay!

We went for a wedding, my husband and his friends stayed. They fished, hung out with ducks and played games. They had a very nice time and were very impressed with the accommodations.

Well worth it - amazing hosts, location, and amenities!

We just loved Cheryl and Jeff's amazing location in the country along with a very spacious, 3-BR floor to ourselves. The home has everything you can need, with a gorgeous hill "backyard" overlooking a gorgeous duck pond you can walk around and through trails - very cool if you want to go for a nice, peaceful walk.Basically, you're 15 - 20 minutes from all good places: Spartanburg, Greer, Greenville, and I recommend you also check out Landrum and Tryon, each only about 15 minutes away and well worth visiting.Cheryl and Jeff are amazing, hospitable hosts. Thank you for everything!!

Just perfect!

I stayed with my mom and sister and we all agreed that this stay was perfect! The setting here is absolutely gorgeous and the property was clean, comfortable, and made us feel welcome. There were lots of little touches that set this property apart and I’d definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

A home away from home

My family and I loved staying here over a long 4th of July holiday. We were close to my husband's grandparents, but needed the space to come back and put our two young children (18 month & 3 years old) to bed in their own quiet space at the end of the day. My older son enjoyed waking up each morning to go out and feed the duckies breakfast with his little brother toddling behind "duc duc duc duc." My husband and I enjoyed sitting around the fireplace (we didn't use it) to watch the fireworks going off in every direction, and the stunning view of the night sky. 100/10!Excellent host. Jeff and Cheryl went above and beyond creating a beautiful space for families, and even offered to add a baby gate at the top of the stairs, a high chair in the kitchen and a pack'n'play for us so we didn't have to travel with such bulky things. We can't wait for another chance to stay here!

Great weekend stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Uproot Family Farms. The apartment was super clean, beautifully decorated, spacious, and included everything we needed plus extras for even more comfort. The farm was great, so pretty and relaxing. Our children loved the ducks, chickens, and the paddle boat on the pond! They asked to come back before we even left! Thank you for a great stay.

Peaceful Retreat!

We didn’t spend a lot of time in the property but I wish we had more time to enjoy their beautiful property! It was beautiful and the space is well equipped to ensure you enjoy it (fishing poles, seating areas, fire pit, cornhole boards, seating and lighting on the dock, duck food to feed the ducks). Cheryl and Jeff are so friendly and welcoming. Their hospitality comes through in every message or interaction and they are thoughtful. The space was EXTREMELY clean. And it would have been such a great retreat to recharge if we weren’t attending a conference.

Perfect for me!

I just want to take the time here to thank Cheryl and Jeff, this location fit all of my needs! I was moving to SC and the location and access to my built site was ideal with a 20 commute! Had I came for a get away, I would say wonderful as well! I loved the family feel, and farm setting! I would recommend anyone that wants to not be in the city but close enough to go and see things as well a perfect location. I appreciate the accommodations for a long term stay as they showed in the description! Thanks Again Cheryl and Jeff!

Great Escape!

I had to stay in the area to attend school and soccer programs for my son. The hosts are great and provided a personal touch for guests. The the amenities and location were perfect and far superior to a hotel. On the property, guests also have access to fishing, use of a fire pit, feed the ducks, and play corn hole toss. The location was perfect for my son and I, and was also located near other areas of interest such as Ceaser's Head State Park, Pearson and Glenn falls, Chimney Rock State Park, Shipwreck Cove water park, and Hollywild Animal Preserve. I highly recommend.

Fantastic Retreat

We enjoyed our 4 days at this beautiful property. The house was clean and everything was provided that we could ever need. The beds were comfortable. The outside wa the highlight of the property, however, with the beautiful scenery and amenities. My kids loved feeding the ducks, playing outside in the woods, going on the "boat" ride across the pond. The owners were on the property tending to their home and animals, but they were very kind and gracious with any questions we had or requests from our children. This is a great place for big families!! The only negatives were the one bathroom (challenging if you have a large group of people) and be aware that everything you bring has to be brought around the house and upstairs. For a family of 8, it was a lot of stuff! Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we would go back again!

Would definitely rent this property again

This rental had everything we needed. Loved the fresh flowers, and the cinnamon rolls that greeted us on our arrival! It was also great to walk the grounds, and enjoy the view of the mountains. Our hosts, Jeff and Cheryl, were very helpful and friendly.

Clean, quiet, scenic!

We enjoyed the privacy and beauty of the landscape. We saw the mountains to the north, the sunset to the west and the sunrise in the east all from the windows. We fed the ducks and walked around the pond. Great place to stay near town but off the beaten path! Hosts Jeff and Cheryl were gracious and allowed our privacy. I highly recommend it!

Just like home away from home

This is a very unique setting, a place with its own pond. Fire pit, grill, outdoor games, and ducks! A very comfortable kitchen, and the rooms were very nicely decorated. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. The hosts are very pleasant and very accommodating. Fresh flowers all through the house and cinnamon rolls in the refrigerator! You could tell they worked very hard to make us feel right at home. Highly recommend this property and wouldn’t hesitate for a second to rent again.

Sweet farmhouse experience

We truly enjoyed our first VRBO experience, it was clean and plenty of room for our stay. The kids loved feeding the ducks and enjoying the backyard and we even had fresh homemade cinnamon rolls waiting for us in the frig upon arrival. The owners stayed in contact and were accommodating.
