Unser Anwesen befindet sich auf über 90 privaten, begehbaren Morgen und grenzt an den Blue Ridge Parkway. Dies ist ein spektakulärer Ort zum Entspannen und Erholen. Langer Blick auf die Berge und Privatsphäre. 40 Weinberge innerhalb einer Autostunde. Weniger als 10 Meilen zum Camp Cheerio. Der Stone Mountain State Park oder der New River State Park sind nur eine kurze Autofahrt entfernt und laden zum Wandern, Angeln, Kanufahren und Schwimmen ein. Das Haus verfügt über eine massive achteckige Veranda mit einem Tisch für 8 Personen und freiem Blick. Es gibt genügend Parkplätze für mindestens 6 Fahrzeuge. Dieses mehrstöckige 5-Bett / 2-Bad-Haus ist das perfekte Familienhaus. Hirsch und Truthahn sind deine Nachbarn. Full-Size-Waschmaschine und Trockner in Halle Bad. Neue Küche mit Granit, SS-Geräten und allen Leckereien für die Zubereitung von Familienmahlzeiten. 2 Teiche auf dem Grundstück ermöglichen das Fischen und Freilassen. Beobachten Sie den Sonnenuntergang hinter den Bergen, während Sie sich an der tragbaren Feuerstelle aufwärmen. Großartig für ein Familientreffen oder eine Versammlung. Spielen Sie Boccia oder Corn Hole im Vorgarten. Ihr eigenes privates Planetarium, um nach Sternschnuppen Ausschau zu halten. Get away and slow down

Our stay was wonderful; the house and property are amazing. The owners communication was timely and helpful. It is a large property and can handle many people. We found it just right with our family of six. Everything was clean and comfortable. The ponds are great for fishing and the banks are clean and easy for helping little ones to fish. The views are great from anywhere on the property. We hope to make our visit a yearly stay.

Spectacular!!!!!

Incredible!! We felt safe, comfortable and cozy, just like home. The home’s provisions are perfect!! Even the grill!! The windows allow for immensely enjoying the beautiful view!! Rocking chairs are provided on the most amazing porch!! The grounds are just spectacular!! And sitting around the fire pit at night , gazing at the universe of stars was just stellar!! The most stars we’ve ever seen, what a peaceful experience!! Except, of course, for a very peaceful and quiet nights rest. Julie, our host, goes above and beyond!! We loved how clean the home was and the towels (!!) , I’m sure we were enjoying a spa retreat!!! Missing it already !!!! Thank you Julie for sharing this incredible retreat !!!!

MT Airy days adventure

The property was a great experience and so was the Mayberry days, We had a small problem with yellow jackets swarming from a nest under the window and found 10 in one bedroom. Also on the porch the railing going down the steps broke on my elderly sister and caused her to fall. She was not hurt but I need to contact the owner and cannot find any contact number. If you could provide tht to me I would appreciate it. I want to inform them of these 2 items. I talked to the property manager and she said I should talk to the owner and inform them just so that they would know what happened to the railing. Otherwise we really enjoyed the house and had a great time.

Close to the Blue ridge parkway

Beautiful property and is well maintained. We had extended family get together. Lots of room for children to play. Lots of space to get some alone time when needed. Pet friendly. We enjoyed our stay and plan to come back next year.

The house gets the big things and the little things right. The kitchen was roomy and well equipped, the table seats 10 easily, the furniture was comfortable, everything was clean, the property was beautiful and well kept. We did not bother to drive to the state park, we just walked the paths on the property; the ponds were frozen but still fun to walk around. The meadows and woods were secluded and private, but the drive to Sparta was only about 20 minutes.

Hidden Private Gem

If you are looking for peace and quite along with privacy this rental is for you! The covered porch was so enjoyable to have every meal outside along with the comfortable rockers to enjoy our morning coffee with the view of the mountains. The owner and property manager was very prompt in responding to our questions and request for additional firewood. Great hiking location and abundant fish catching. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This was a super clean house along with great WiFi connection. We hope to definitely be back.

Paradise!!

If you want a place that is truly private, tucked away off the Blue Ridge Parkway with acres and acres of trails, ponds, meadows and beautiful views, book the Bluestone. My family stayed for a long weekend to celebrate my dad’s retirement. We had the best time and built so many memories. I could sit on the porch all day and take in the beautiful view. And the kids had so much fun making smores, rolling down the hills, fishing, and playing yard games. This property is magically….truly special. We will be back!!

The mountains were calling

Beautiful, comfortable, calming. No one wanted to leave, the outdoor space was perfect and that is where we spent most of our time. The deck has the most amazing view. We did take a wander up to the hill above the deer feeding area and can I say it took our breath away. Thank you for sharing your home. If you not one for commercialized vacation destinations and appreciate unspoiled surroundings Blue Stone will not disappoint. The only suggestion is to be aware of the drive up to the house- we were all on HD Road Glides and it was a bit slick after it rained. Drive is steep and although packed gravel it did get a little muddy in the rain. We will be keeping this property on the list to go again. Loved it!

Family/friend stay

Julie was very helpful and flexible with us. The house is exactly the way it is in the pictures. Very big and spacious and well equipped with all the essentials. Beautiful property and landscape. The land and mountains and trails made for a beautiful family walk and wonderful pictures to create beautiful memories. If I had to mention a con it was only be that a few of the kitchen utensils are outdated already and when we arrived on-site the grill in the back was extremely dirty. Besides that I have absolutely no complaints. I would definitely recommend staying here and would even love to stay here again at another point In time.

Christmas Vacation 2021

Beautiful property with trails and amazing views! The house easily accommodated the 9 of us so we were able to have some great family time. Julie was quick to respond when we had questions and provided extra firewood as needed. We'd definitely recommend and stay again.

Wonderful stay

Thank you for a beautiful location, timely and thoughtful communication, and easy stay! The house has everything one needs to relax, go for walks, cook great meals and sleep well! We especially liked the candles, firewood, soft towels, rocking chairs and view!

Porch of relaxation

Loved the house! You can see the mountains in the distance from the porch. Great breezes every minute of our early fall trip with friends. Wouldn’t suggest it for more than 4 couples due to only 2 bathrooms! But the house was spread out and clean! We hope to come back sometime!

Unique, secluded property with a beautiful home!

We had four couples in our group staying at the Bluestone for three nights. Everyone loved it! The home, itself, is quite unique. You can see that it is cared for and laid out well. The common spaces are open and very accommodating for our large group. The large wall of windows in the den is a captivating focal point of the room. The property is picturesque and very private. We all spent a great deal of time on the spacious back porch enjoying the views. The eight rocking chairs were perfect for our group! The kitchen has all the necessities you'll need. Close to several wineries (which we enjoyed!) and Stone Mountain. Julie and Lisa are great to work with! Hope to be able to come back one day!

Great property

We loved our stay here, it was very peaceful and secluded. The porch was beautiful and the fact that they had cornhole boards and football were a big plus. The only downside is that the grill was on the porch and we had to move it off the porch and back up there when we were done with it.

My grandparents were from Elkin and I spent my summers here. Both my parents are from NC and this place is my " favorite place to be".

The views and privacy are unmatched but at the same time a short drive into Sparta, Mt. Airy or Galax. The colors for the fall foliage are incredible. We love coming for the holidays and cutting down our fresh Christmas tree.
