The Sea Ranch ist ein weltbekanntes Ferienparadies entlang einer 16 km Strecke der atemberaubenden Küste, etwa 170 km nördlich der Golden Gate Bridge (San Francisco). The Sea Ranch ist besonders bekannt für seine strengen architektonischen Standards, nach dem Motto "Build light on the Land." Casa Pacis bietet außergewöhnliche Privatsphäre. The Sea Ranch hat viele Wanderwege und drei Recreation Centers mit Freibad, Tennisplaetzen, Saunas (alles kostenlos für unsere Gaeste). Besonderheiten wie keine Straßenbeleuchtung, keine Zäune, Autos nur "unsichtbar" geparkt, keine Gehwege und keine Dachantennen unterscheiden von "Suburbia".

Direkt über den einzigen Sanddünen der Sea Ranch gelegen, an einer Sackgasse in der Nähe von "Walk-on-Beach", bietet unswer kleines Ferienhaus von jedem Zimmer aus einen malerischen Meeresblick. Unser "Haus des Friedens" hat große Wrap-around-Decks und viel Privatsphäre.

90 m² großer Wohnbereich, bequeme Möbel, gemütlicher offener Kamin. Küche ist gut ausgestattet mit modernen Geräten. Großes Deck mit eingebautem Jacuzzi (mit Seeblick).

Anniversary get away

The energy of this VRBO was perfect, very artistic setting. Truly a place to relax. Close access to the beach, and walking paths. VRBO needs some TLC. Deep cleaning, new window treatments, and updated furniture. This was our first visit to Sea Ranch, and we will be visiting again. Not sure if it would be Casa Pacis.

Perfect proximity

Love this house, the size (just perfect for two), the proximity to the beach, and the friendliness of the hosts. Close enough to walk to, see and hear the ocean, but far enough not to see Bluff Trail walkers right up close. Tidy, well equipped, with lots of privacy too. Hosts friendly and responsive. Will definitely want to stay again when in Sea Ranch.

Two Winning Features

The two winning features of this home are its location and the rental cost. The home is very tired and it shows everywhere - from sliding glass and screen doors to indoor and outdoor furniture. The decor is quaint but out-of-date and the outdoor spa/hot tub is small and control panel is hard to figure out. There is more to comment on but enough for now. I only wish we knew the age and condition of the place before we rented. I’m certain the owners are good people and we’ll intentioned. But if it was not for the price I might suggest either an update or drop it out of the VRBO rental pool.

Casa Pacis

Beautiful area with breathtaking scenery. Great places to hike and trails everywhere. Bring food with you or be prepared to go to the grocery store often. A lot of restaurants are closed during the beginning of the week, even in the other closest towns. Check before you go. Bring spices and things with you as the house has no food condiments or seasonings. When I go again, I will plan the food part of my trip better. Otherwise a nice stay and very relaxing.

Lovely stay!

I've stayed in many Sea Ranch homes over the decades and this may be my favorite yet. The size was perfect for us, there were spectacular white water views and the ease of walking to the bluffs was terrific. I also liked that is was so close to Gualala and galleries and restaurants and groceries. A wonderful time all around!

The home is amazing. Had a group of 9 staying and more than enough room for everyone. Owners were attentive when microwave not working and had a new one in the next day. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Casa Pacis Stay

Sea Ranch is a wonderful coastal getaway in Northern California and Casa Pacis is an excellent, comfortable, and convenient home for any twosome. Clean, functional, and with all the necessities and more. The house is nicely located in terms of its magnificent views, walking trails, recreation centers as well as shopping and restaurant conveniences in the town of Gualala.

A very private beautifully located home

Casa Pasis was a great discovery for us in Sea Ranch. It is a perfect place for as couple. The house has a very private location, unlike many ocean front houses which are right on the public beach trail. At the same time it has a wonderful unobstructed view of the ocean. The house is extremely well equipped for a very comfortable stay. The hosts were very quick to answer all our questions, and a pleasure to communicate with. We stayed in many houses in Sea Ranch, and Casa Pasis is among the two very best (the other house which we liked is much larger and not anymore on the market). So we will certainly be back.

A delightful place to be

The house was lovely, beautiful fresh flowers in the house that were very much appreciated , a glorious unobstructed view. A perfect Sea Ranch house, most definitely the nicest of the houses that we have stayed in sea ranch over the years. Overall extremely comfortable with everything anyone could possibly need. Even the pillows were comfortable. We had a very nice time.

A Tranquil Respite

A wonderful getaway

We loved Casa Pacis. It is a warm, comfortable home equipped with everything we needed and more. It's location near the bluffs overlooking the ocean is perfect. We could hear the breakers even from the home. It's proximity to Gualala was also appreciated. We had a memorable week. and would love to return.

Beautiful, relaxing time

The rental was perfect. The location in the meadow, near the ocean, was serene and private. We saw more wildlife this trip than ever before. We definitely plan on reacting this house again.

Sea ranch getaway

Our stay was nice. Peace is a good name for the house. The spa was so great. I slipped in on our second night. The great trail to the cathedral was a fun adventure and access to the lovely beach was a frequent visit. I did notice a couple things. The lid on the coffee pot was broken and would Fall off when pouring water into reservoir The MB sliding door is really really hard to open and close. I did miss a small finger hold on the LR screen slider. A mouse did visit our first night and gave a good try at getting into our crackers☺️In the kitchen. Seems you’ve had this great house for a while and u are lucky to have the resources to enjoy it as well as your other homes. Thanks. Hope we left things as expected

Cozy, bright and in perfect location

Highly recommended. The house is perfect for a Sea Ranch getaway. It is located close to some very nice beaches and coves, has very nice views of the ocean from every room, very cozy and comfortable. Large windows in every room bring in light. Nearest houses are far enough to give a sense of privacy. The owner makes the stay easy with clear instructions and helpful hints posted around the house. we had a great time

a charming house at a great location, views were fabulous. parts of the house are a bit dated (horizontal levelor blinds) but that is ppart of the charm - we loved the art from plants and the keyless entry system is great. we would come back.

Beautiful Seaside Retreat

I really enjoyed my stay at Casa Pacis. The cabin itself is lovely, clean, and has a super cool retro vibe. It was wonderful to wake up in the morning to the views of the waves crashing against the shore and to wake up with the shine of Sirius twinkling into the bedroom. There's lots of books to enjoy and I particularly loved reading through the collection of American short stories. Please do make sure to take time to read through the rules. There's a handy binder the host leaves for you so you can reference what to do (or not do!) during your stay. Looking forward to hopefully returning to this place one day.

Amazing natural beauty. The climate at Sea Ranch is markedly warmer and sunnier than elsewhere on the Central California coast.

We discovered Sea Ranch shortly after we had immigrated to the United States, and immediately fell in love with it, probably because it reminded us in natural beauty of the Amalfi Coast in Italy and in climate of the German North Sea islands. We purchased our lot and built Casa Pacis in 1983 and enjoyed every minute of our numerous stays in this gorgeous environment ever since. It is remarkable that, even though many years passed since we first visited Sea Ranch, the unique character of this incredible place has been preserved. Much of the interior and exterior has been renovated.
