Willkommen in unserem Schloss Chamonix! Dies ist das perfekte Set für größere Gruppen und Familien. Super nah an der Canyon Lodge! Wir sind Einheit # 87 ab Rainbow Lane zu Fuß auf die Piste!

Dieses gemütliche dreistöckige Stadthaus hat:
     - Zugang zu Canyon Lodge über 4-5 Minuten zu Fuß.
- Zwei Master-Schlafzimmer mit en-Suiten im Erdgeschoss. Ein Schlafzimmer hat ein großes Kingsize-Bett, das auf einer Plattform Lager Bettgestell mit vielen Schubladen für Kleidung und einen großen Schrankbereich und en-suite Badezimmer mit Badewanne sitzt.
Der zweite Master hat ein Doppelbett mit individuellem Kopfteil und ein en-suite Badezimmer mit Dusche und viel Stauraum und Kommode. Beide Schlafzimmer haben neue Flachbild-LED-Fernseher an den Wänden montiert.
- Middle Floor verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit großem benutzerdefinierten Log-Tisch mit Bank
Sitzgelegenheiten für 10 Personen, eine gemütliche Schlafcouch mit einem Queen-Schlafsofa, die Wet-Bar-Bereich hat einen benutzerdefinierten log Pub-Tisch, Barhocker, viel Stielgläser und Mixer für die perfekte Party nach den Pisten! Großer Flachbildfernseher hing über dem Kamin und ein brandneuer Kamineinsatz mit individuellem handgehämmertem Kamingesicht.
Der Propankamin beheizt den ganzen Boden und die obere Etage mit einem Klick auf einen Schalter. Kein Holz zum Aufräumen oder Asche zum Aufräumen!
-Das Obergeschoss ist das Loft, das zwei Log-Etagenbetten hat, die bis zu 6 Personen schlafen können! Zwei große Betten an der Unterseite und Zwillinge oben! Flachbildschirm führte Fernsehapparat, der im Dachboden, im vollen Badezimmer und im Balkon angebracht wurde!
- Mud Room: Wenn Sie das Stadthaus betreten, begrüßt Sie "Humboldt" unser Bär aus dem Redwood Forest, um Sie zu begrüßen! Es gibt genügend Stauraum für Snowboards, Skier, Fahrräder usw. Snowboard- und Skihalterungen, zum der Ausrüstung, kundenspezifischer hölzerner Speicher zu hängen
     Bänke für Jacken, Helme, Handschuhe!

Great mammoth village spot

We enjoyed great spring skiing at Cham 87.The location is very very close to the Canyon Lodge and all the lifts associated. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and well appointed. The bunks upstairs have their own bathroom as well. Would definitely stay again!!

Mammoth with the Family

We had a wonderful time staying in this lovely condo this summer (late July 2024). The accommodations were everything we needed. The couch is super comfy and the bathrooms, bedrooms and flooring look newly remodeled. The kitchen is quite small but we were able to make breakfasts comfortably. We loved the spacious seating in the dining area and the decor throughout. A major plus was the facility recreation room. Our family enjoyed using the pool, jacuzzi's, pool table, ping pong and foosball tables. It was the perfect way to end our jam packed days filled with outdoor adventures. The condo is conveniently located walking distance (in the summer of course) from The Village and a short drive to the Main Lodge. The owners were easy to contact and quick to answer messages. They provided us with all of the info we needed well before our visit. Give this lovely home a chance. You will not regret it.

Family Weekend

We loved our stay. Property was clean and welcoming. Stocked very well and felt like home. Loved that we had access to Laundry in the home. The family games were fun to end the evening. Quick access to the covered community Spa which was nice to enjoy as it rained two of the days we were there. Our young adults also liked playing pool in the Rec center. Definitely would stay again. Great Location. Great Stay.

The property was as advertised and very comfortable, with a "Home away from Home" sort of vibe. Plus, it's just a short walk to the lifts at Canyon Lodge; very convenient. Alan & Kerstin were awesome, responding quickly to remedy the few issues we encountered due to unprecedented snowfall. Overall, it was a great stay. We'll definitely be back!

Epic Mammoth skiing vacation

Alan and Kerstin were great hosts. The communication was excellent and the townhome was everything that was described. The walk to Canyon Lodge was even closer than we expected which made it easy for the non skiers to join us for lunch and apres ski fun. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in Mammoth. Amazing place

I have used both several rental properties for years and have never encountered the above and beyond communication like we did with the owners of this property. With snow piled high everywhere, it can be hard to find the location but not with the instructions given by the owners. The place is walking distance from canyon making it super easy to get rentals and lessons for our kiddos. The condo is clean, has great amenities, and super cozy sheets. Highly recommend staying here and will likely come back!!

Fantastic Experience!

Beautiful property, responsive and communicative hosts, very friendly, helpful, and positive energy! We chose this location for a snowboard trip, canyon lodge was less than a 5 minute walk. Condo had everything anybody could ask for. Definitely recommend, and we'll be looking to book again next time!

Location, location, location!

We couldn't believe our luck when we found this amazing rental available. From the moment of booking we had immediate contact with the owners, Alan & Kerstin who walked us through all stages of our trip and made wonderful suggestions on ways to make our experience the very best. Arriving late at our destination with two cars full of teenagers we were thrilled when we walked into the kitchen and found all the fixings for a family pasta dinner - cookies for desert too! The condo was incredibly clean, well stocked with everything we needed - super soft new towels, cozy flannel sheets, a perfect gathering and hangout for our family and friends. Everything you need to know about this special place is detailed in a house binder - even included photos of the owners family and their love for this special place. The complex has a large jacuzzi and maintinance staff that keep walkways shoveled and parking spaces clear - they even helped shovel out my car when it was time to leave. ..and did i mention location!!! With a snow falling constantly (total of 6 feet while we were there) the location could not have been better. While others struggled with unplowed streets, poor driving conditions and lack of parking, we had a short 5 minute walk to Canyon Lodge which made it ideal for our group to come and go throughout the day. We highly recommend booking with Alan & Kerstin, it is easy to see why they call it their "Happy Place."

Great family stay

Location was really, really good, a short walk to Canyon Lodge. Floor plan was perfect for us - loft with bunk beds for kids plus 2 good sized bedrooms in lower level. Mud room at door was great as well to leave all our gear. Neighbors were quiet when we stayed. Kitchen was well stocked and met all needs. Communication was great with hosts - very responsive and seem to genuinely be concerned you have good time. Expected to do a bit more at checkout than standard I would say - strip beds, empty trash, dishwasher on etc - which didn’t bother us and didn’t take too long (maybe 25mins), but worth bearing in mind if that would bother you or you have to rush on departure day. Decor/furnishings are true to pictures. Showers/bathrooms were solid, with good water temperature and pressure without being luxurious. We really enjoyed our stay overall and would stay again.

Great spot close to Canyon Lodge

This property was really nice. Very close to Canyon Lodge- about a 7 minute walk. When we got there the fireplace wasn't working, but the owners got it fixed ASAP. There was lots of good communication and they were very responsive. My only complaints, even though they aren't really complaints, more like observations, are that the kitchen is pretty small, and it can get pretty cold downstairs (and the heaters are noisy). Overall the property is in great condition, the loft bedroom is perfect for a bunch of kids, or even adults, and I'd recommend staying here if you're looking to be close to Canyon Lodge!

Welcome to our home away from home! After spending a childhood coming up to Mammoth and bringing our three children up for the past 15 years, we decided to make it our second home! We purchased our unit in the Spring of 2015 and slowly have replaced furniture and decorated and just did a remodel to make it the cozy getaway we dreamed of. After enjoying our Chateau Chamonix ourselves we decided to make it available to you as well. We hope you will make memories for a lifetime as we have. We feel Chamonix is the perfect location for all seasons. We are up at the top by Canyon Lodge - on those big dump snow days, no waiting in a bus line or searching for parking spots, JUST WALK RIGHT TO THE LIFTS! If you want to go to the village, take the Gondola down or the town trolley and bus lines pick up/drop off at the front of the complex. Our family enjoys traveling all over, but Mammoth is the one place where we truly can relax and enjoy the mountains, snow, beautiful summers, fishing, hiking, and biking! We hope you enjoy your stay at our home!

Due to the location so close to the mountain base, you may see various forms of wildlife in the area, please be mindful that these are wild animals and should be treated with caution. Please do not leave food in your car - Bears can get into cars - they are crafty!

Mammoth is a beautiful location but it is also subject to the whim's of nature, we are not responsible for loss of power, internet, mountain/lift, road closures due to weather. We also cannot control the operating of any rec room facilities sauna, jacuzzi, etc. as they are beyond our control! Please check the Mammoth Mountain website for the weather, lift status, and other safety information.

Chamonix is located steps away (4 min walk) from Mammoth Mountain's Canyon Lodge. We are near ski lifts, ski school, rentals, lockers, dining and the Gondola that takes visitors down to the Village restaurants and shops. The convenient FREE town trolley and buses stop directly in front of Chamonix as well and can take you to the different lodges and around town. In summer, you can easily mountain bike in and out of Chamonix or ride your bike down to the village. From there a trolley will take you and your bike to ride at different locations around the mountain.

Surrounded by towering mountains, countless streams and
lakes, endless back country forest and rich and varied history, Mammoth
Lakes is a premiere playground for the outdoor enthusiast. Summer activities
include mountain biking, hiking, fishing, golf, shopping, outdoor movies, fine dining, festivals and many amazing local attractions. Yosemite National Park is a short drive away.

We feel you will instantly fall in love with our home! It's welcoming, cozy and it's proximity to the slopes truly can't be beat! We've tried to provide you with all the things that are important to our family when we travel! As a family with kids, it's a great spot to walk back from the slopes for lunch and or take the village gondola or trolley down for dinner.
