Das Farm Cottage befindet sich im Herzen der zum Weltkulturerbe zählenden Blue Mountains im Megalong-Tal auf einem 2 Hektar großen Anwesen. Es verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer und bietet Platz für maximal 12 Personen. Ideal für Familienfeiern und große Gruppen. Es gibt einen Schotter-Tennisplatz, Wanderwege und die sechs Fuß lange Strecke führt durch unser Grundstück für diejenigen, die gerne Buschwandern. Holzfeuer im Winter. Wir haben auch ein Homestead für 18 Personen, sodass wir bis zu 30 Gäste unterbringen können. Unsere Preise für das Cottage sind Midweek (Mo-Do) $ 350. 00 pro Nacht. Wochenende (Fr-So) 450 $. 00 pro Nacht (Homestead ist extra). Mindestaufenthalt von zwei Nächten, Mindestaufenthalt von drei Nächten an langen Wochenenden und in den Schulferien. Alle Schulferien werden zu Wochenendpreisen berechnet.

Wir sind nur 13 Kilometer von Blackheath entfernt, wo es Restaurants und Geschäfte gibt. Die Jenolan-Höhlen erreichen Sie mit dem Auto in 1, 25 Stunden und Katoomba in einer halben Stunde. Es gibt 2 Golfplätze in der Umgebung - Blackheath und Katoomba und viele Aussichtspunkte und Aussichtspunkte. Züge von Sydney nach Blackheath und es gibt einen Taxistand vor dem Bahnhof.

Cosy comfy cottage at Euroka

We had a great time at the Cottage with our family group.The kitchen was great and the slow combustion fire wonderful as it was very cold during our stay. The place was clean and having linen and towels and toiletries was a real bonus. We were able to have a later checkout as there were no other guests following us and that was great Thankyou . My granddaughter loved being able to check out the horses in the fields and the views of the Megalong valley peaks were beautiful.A few things would have improved our stay that I’d like to mention included the accuracy of the listing. In the Stayz listing it indicates clearly there was WiFi a smart Tv and a DVD player .The WiFi didn’t work and according to an earlier review it hasn’t been working for a long time . There was no DVD player & according to Christine the property manager there hadn’t been a dVD player for years, though it was listed and referred to in notes & house rules posted in the house as well as the Stayz listing . Updating these facts would help guests prepare for a stay and a few board games would help if there is no WiFi ,TV or DVDs available. I’d also mention that the road into the Eroka property was very uneven with huge cracks in the road . While they were indicated with witches hats, some of our group arrived after dark and the road was difficult to navigate .Otherwise we had a great stay at the Cottage at Euroka. Thankyou so much

Amazing Stay

We had a wedding in Megalong Valley & are a large family. The cottage catered to all our needs. Extremely clean & comfortable & the property was beautiful surrounded by horses & a beautiful outlook.

Great getaway for a group!

The cottage is a beautiful space and the surrounds are picturesque and fun to explore with walks etc. It is well stocked with all the essentials in the kitchen etc. Our group had a great stay.

Fantastic location

The place was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well furnished. It was raining almost the whole time so we couldn't go out much but the location is just very beautiful. We could see Kangaroos from the place. The only blemish would be that wifi wasn't working possibly because of bad weather. So we could only use our phone network but couldn't play anything on the TV.

Megalong valley

A much needed escape from the city. The most beautiful location I cannot stress enough opening the gates to Euroka’s property were like the gates of heaven. Such a beautiful spot and the house was brilliant. It had everything we needed. Also I could reach anyone with a quick response. 10/10 would definitely recommended.

Remote and peaceful farm house with great views

A great place to stay in Megalong valley, short distance to a part of 6foot track. The house is old but comfortable with everything a group of friends with children needs. Chris is easy to contact if there are any questions. Would highly recommend this place for families, who seek for serenity.

Great stay

The cottage was very clean and spacious, if a bit dated (which adds to the charm in my opinion). It's very close to Blackheath but feels very secluded, with stunning views and horses wandering around. Great stay overall.

Beautiful location

The cottage was not really up to scratch. Water was dirty and took most of first day to run clean. No gas in gas bottle, tv didn’t work, tap in kitchen was leaking from base of spout had to put towel around it. The beds weren’t very comfortable. Front door not even on a runner. Toaster had to be held down to work. Couldn’t connect to wifi. Overall the cottage was a very disappointing but we still had a great Xmas in July get together. Horse riding was amazing, the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Disappointing

Whilst the scenery was gorgeous and the cottage clean and equipped that's where it ends. Very impersonal. No one to be seen or a welcome in sight. We stayed here to go trail riding as per the website information. We never met the lady who ran the trail rides. Young girls were sent to meet us whom we booked a ride with 2 days in advance only to be text by the lady who ran the trail rides (whom we never met) the night before to say they would be closed and couldn't do it. Whilst we were offered another nights stay In order to ride the next day we needed to get home to return to work. I had a very disappointed 8 year old as was I. The cottage itself could also do with some attention and maintenance.

Although only about twenty to twenty five minutes drive from Blackheath station, the farm feels like it's hundreds of miles from anywhere, some few centuries ago (with exception to the amenties). Every weekend away should fool you into forgetting your day job in the office and the every-day stresses of city domesticity as well as this place can. Charming little place, loved it.
