Overall we had a very enjoyable stay.. The decor was really nice, the heating was very efficient and the kitchen was well equipped.
However, the fridge was not up to the standard of the other equipment as there was no door on the freezer compartment and the shelves were inadequate.
It was also very frustrating that it was not possible to contact the property management unless there was an emergency. We received emails prior to our stay but it was not possible to reply to those emails and when we sent an email asking a question prior to our visit we did not receive a response. We also phoned before and during our stay due to changing circumstances relating to the virus, but were told that only emergency calls would be answered.
We were instructed to place linen and towels in clear plastic bags at the end of our stay, but no plastic bags were provided for this purpose so we had to put our towels in the bath and our linen on one of the beds.
Also, whilst it had been very clearly stated that due to COVID-19 the cleaning regime was even more thorough than usual there were cobwebs in the cupboard where the cleaning equipment is stored and there were long dark hairs and toenail clippings on the floor in one of the bedrooms so evidently it had not been vacuumed recently.
