Ollie's Cottage ist perfekt für Familien und Paare, die einen Selbstversorgerurlaub in diesem besonderen Teil von South Devon genießen möchten. Clever arrangiert auf drei Etagen bietet das Ollie's Cottage eine private Terrasse und einen Parkplatz, während Sie den Fluss und die Annehmlichkeiten des Dorfes zu Fuß erreichen können. Haustiere sind in Ollie's Cottage willkommen.

Unterkunft: Die Haustür öffnet sich in die Halle, von hier aus tritt man in eine helle offene Küche / Esszimmer gut mit Geschirrspüler, Mikrowelle, Elektroherd und Backofen, Kühlschrank, Gefrierschrank, Waschmaschine und Trockner ausgestattet. Der Essbereich verfügt über einen Tisch und Stühle aus Kiefernholz und einen antiken Beistelltisch mit CD-Player und Radio. Französisch Fenster aus dem Essbereich führen in eine geschlossene gepflasterte Terrasse. Im Erdgeschoss gibt es auch eine Garderobe mit Toilette und Waschbecken.

Oben: Sie finden ein helles und gemütliches Wohnzimmer mit Blick auf den Fluss, offenem Kamin, DVB-T TV und DVD. Neben dem Sofa und den Sesseln sind am anderen Ende zwei Einzelschlafsofas mit Überwürfen und Kissen vorhanden. Diese Etage bietet auch ein neu renoviertes ger��umiges Badezimmer mit Badewanne und Dusche, Waschbecken und Toilette.

Der zweite Stock: Hat zwei Schlafzimmer & ndash; ein großes attraktives Doppelzimmer mit dramatischer Wand über dem Bett und ein kleines Etagenbett Schlafzimmer mit Dachfenster.

Außenbereich: Der Patio-Garten auf der Rückseite des Anwesens ist der perfekte Ort für Mahlzeiten im Freien an Sommerabenden, komplett umzäunt mit Gartenmöbeln und Blumenbeeten. Es gibt Parkplätze auf der Rückseite und zusätzliche uneingeschränkte Parkmöglichkeiten am Straßenrand der Riverside Road.

In der Nähe: Die Dorfkneipe The Red Lion ist 2 Minuten zu Fuß um die Ecke (keine Sorge, es ist nicht bekannt, um laut zu sein) Der Red Lion beherbergt auch den Dorfladen und Postamt. Ein 10-minütiger Spaziergang bringt Sie zum The Quay, wo Sie das Ferry Boat Inn und The Anchorstone Cafe sowie Fähren nach Greenway und Dartmouth finden.

Lovely stay

Wonderful Property

We really enjoyed our stay at Ollie's Cottage. A true "home from home". Very clean and comfortable and difficult to say how it could be improved. In respect of the area, this was the first time I have visited the Dart Estuary. What a wonderful part of the country, plenty to do and see and everyone is extremely friendly. Lovely and comfortable cottage.

Cottage was clean and well equipped. Alot of info of places to visit and eat. Good position to visit Dartmouth and Kingsbridge. The only drawback was the communication of Dart Valley cottages . Had to contact them about payment.

ollie's cottage

Lovely place to stay. Versatile cottage and location. Love it that there are bits and pieces in the cupboard so you don't have to bring an entire kitchen cabinet. Rubbish disposal a bit complicated. I think dustmen come on Wednesday not Friday.

Comfortable cottage in a great location

A lovely cottage in a great location. Very comfortable and well appointed inside with the added bonus of parking (which can be an issue in Dittisham). Very handy for the pub, shop, post office in the Red Lion. One or two issues with the television in that we were unable to access Netflix, Iplayer etc. as advertised. Also one of the chairs in the living room had obviously been favoured by a dog in the past and could do with some deep cleaning. However these small issues didn't spoil our holiday in this lovely place.

Great location for exploring South Devon. The Red Lion round the corner is the most unusual public house I've ever visited - It's a Dog friendly Pub, Restuarant, Post Office and well-stocked shop. The hub of the village with extremely, friendly staff and locals.

A lovely stay for two adults and two dogs.

We were very happy with Ollie’s cottage. It was our second stay in 2 years in Dittisham, and we found Ollie’s location very convenient for all our activities. The cottage is very well-equipped and comfortable, with handy parking. We were very lucky with the weather, and especially enjoyed the ‘Round Robin’ boat, bus and train trip round the Dart Valley, a fascinating (very early morning!) tour of Brixham Fish Market, and visits to Greenway, beautiful Coleton Fishacre and amazing Fast Rabbits Farm. We would definitely like to see all the gardens again in the Spring, and would happily return to Ollie’s Cottage. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely holiday but sleeping arrangements not ideal with beds sharing with lounge. Saying it sleeps 6 is pushing it a bit as the small room could only be used for small children

Gem of a cottage in a gem of a village

We really enjoyed our relaxing stay in Ollies Cottage. The cottage is equipped with everything you might possibly need for a comfortable holiday. It has a lovely feel and the views past the church to the river from the front windows are spectacular. Would recommend this as a great place to stay!

Pipping about in Devon

Pip the dog here,well we had a splendiforous time at Ollies,a real home from home.I had some fabulous walks down to the quay and back along the foreshore,also across the fields.Made some friends with the Dalmatians at The Red Lion. Dittisham is really well placed for lots of doggy adventures,I liked ring the bell to go to Greenway,got another boat to Dartmouth Castle and did you know you can take cars on a boat to,we did that and went to a most glorious house and garden at Coleton Fishacre. Also went on a sea tractor to Burgh Island and being a wonder dog I managed to part the water so we could walk back. Another place I would recommend is Fast Rabbits Farm,we went there and I thought there would be lots of little bunnies to amuse me,but no,instead there was the most glorious garden. Well I will sum up now as my food bowl awaits me,a great big thank you from me ,the boy and the old lady,we had a lovely holiday and would throughly recommend Dart Valley Cottages and Ollies.

Another wonderful weekend.

Finally we managed to have our weekend in Dittersham (we originally booked a w/end in March 2020 which coincided with lockdown no.1). To be honest we were a bit nervous that everything would have changed because of the pandemic; we needn't have worried it is still the same marvellous cottage in the same marvellous village. We are now looking forward to March 2022.

Vacation October 2021

We had a lovely relaxing time at Ollie's Cottage. The cottage contained all kitchen equipment we needed, bedrooms were comfortable and airy. Bathroom was modernized and we had plenty of hot water. Lounge was comfy and had an up-to-date TV. Dittisham was a lovely quiet little village on the Dart river with a little marina where you could catch ferries up and down the river. We did have a barking dog from the nearby Pub every morning and evening ! Not to much of a problem as eventually owners took him inside.

Lovely cottage in the heart of Ditsum

We enjoyed a lovely stay here. The cottage is well appointed and beautifully situated on a quiet road. There is a gorgeous view out front across the fields to the Dart, and the front bench gets the setting sun so it’s a lovely spot for a gin and tonic! The pub and village shop are neighbours but there is very little noise other than the occasional dog barking in the morning. Would definitely return.

Ollies cottage

Ollies cottage is in an excellent position behind the Red Lion pub and shop. The house is specious and we’ll orientated. Bathroom good although shower pump a bit noisy. Kitchen well equipped and spacious. We have stayed here before and probably will again

Stay at Ollie's Cottage

The cottage is beautifully located for walking and touring. We found everything we needed at the cottage - the kitchen etc. is really well equipped and it is all well presented. I'm not sure if we missed it, but we didn't appreciate until we saw the sign at the bottom of the staircase that dogs couldn't go up into the lounge (first floor) which meant that we didn't use the lounge at all and spent evenings in the kitchen watching TV on our laptop as we don't like to shut them away for the whole evening. It wasn't a real problem but I don't remember seeing that in the details - as I said I may have missed it. This was probably more of an issue as we had wet weather - in fine weather we wouldn't be stopping in so much and we would be using the patio garden. Overall a really lovely cottage with excellent facilities - we had a lovely relaxing break.
