Genießen Sie Ihren eigenen ruhigen Rückzugsort. Ihr privates Zuhause in der Ferne erwartet Sie auf der 1/3 Meile langen Privatstraße zu einer funktionierenden Hobbyfarm mit Pferden, Rindern und vielen anderen Tieren. Das Gästehaus wird eine Familie mit sieben Vätern, einer Mutter und fünf Kindern beherbergen. Das Haus ist jedoch nicht groß genug, um sieben Erwachsene unterzubringen

Dieses Haus ist eine private, lange Autofahrt entfernt vom Lärm und Chaos der Stadt, aber dennoch in unmittelbarer Nähe zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Unternehmen. Genießen Sie Ihren Tag in der Ruhe einer funktionierenden Hobbyfarm mit Rindern, Donkies, Ziegen und Schafen. Ihr Aufenthalt wird eine Chance sein, sich zu entspannen und einfach die Ruhe zu genießen. Im Sommer und Herbst können Sie auch einen kurzen Spaziergang zum Nachbarort machen, um Ihre eigene Beerenfarm zu pflücken.

Wir können Ihnen wahrscheinlich alle Extras zur Verfügung stellen, die Sie benötigen, insbesondere wenn Sie mit ein oder zwei Kindern unterwegs sind. Das Haus verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett im Hauptschlafzimmer und drei Einzelbetten im zweiten Schlafzimmer, darunter ein Etagenbett. Bei Bedarf gibt es auch zwei zusätzliche Einzelrollbetten. Das Haus bietet Platz für eine Familie mit sieben Personen. Wie in der Auflistung erwähnt, verfügt unser Gästehaus weder über einen Fernseher noch über Internet oder WLAN. Das Haus ist ein Ort, "Get Away From It All". Es ist der perfekte Ort für Ruhe und Frieden, eine schöne Pause vom Lärm, von dem wir jeden Tag umgeben sind.

A fun peaceful stay

We loved the house and the grounds were fun. The inside was neat and clean. We liked that there was no TV and the toy blocks were a hit with the kids. They also loved the cat!

Amazing

First time staying in this type of setting instead of a hotel. We’ll no longer be staying at hotels. The property was beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. The host was attentive and quickly responded to questions. So thankful we were able to stay at such a wonderful place.

Peace and Quiet

Loved this property. Away from the noise and bustle, but close enough to enjoy the Dayton area activities. Or if you’re just looking for a place to get away from it all, this is the perfect spot, Secluded, quiet, and peaceful. The property and host were great, too. Would return in a heartbeat if we were ever in the area again.

Quiet relaxing trip

We had a quiet, relaxing time at this guest house. We enjoyed the animals and being out in the country. This was our first time renting a house thru VRBO and this was a very nice, easy experience. The hosts were very prompt with their replies and the house was great foe our family. I loved having the kitchen to be able to make meals. The master bed was super comfy and full of blankets/quilts. I would definitely come back if we are ever in the area again.

Very clean

The house was very clean and comfortable. We sat outside and enjoyed the fresh county air and enjoyed watching the animals. The owners live on the property but give you space. I had a couple of questions and texted the owners to stop by. They immediately responded and it was nice to meet them in person. A very nice family. 5 star experience. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

This place was lovely! Very warm, clean & cozy. Linens & towels were supplied. Nice surprise with the coffee, creamers & sugar. We actually didn't cook anything - were out for all meals, but we could have. Seeing all the animals was very relaxing, and waking up to a moo or a cluck a welcome diversion. We would definitely love to stay again if we're looking for a place in the area. We were only a few miles from the Greene County Fairgrounds, where the cyclecon took place. Worlds better than a motel/hotel!

Accosted my wife and kicked us out over my son's service dog

We were booked for about a week but were forced out after one night because of my son's service dog. The host aggressively accosted my wife and told us we had to leave. The SD was not a nuisance, was on a leash, never left in the house alone, was not causing problems. He never even barked until this man came at my wife like he did. He not only attacked by wife but he was so aggressive towards her that the SD was afraid and let out a defensive bark. We were in town specifically to receive the SD and train as handlers at a local non-profit that specializes in service's dogs for children with disabilities, seizure alert dogs, military veterans, and other qualified issues. My wife was out with the SD, on a leash, and the host / owner jumped out of his car on his way off the property and accosted her. My wife is still having panic attacks and suffering daily because of how she was treated. My son is also displaying behaviors that he did not previous to this trip, feeling the need to constantly pack his belongings for reasons only known to him. Every other day he packs his clothes, shoes, toys, anything he can in what I can only assume is a way of mentally processing what happened since he is non-verbal and has no other means of expressing his feelings. I would not stay here. This man shouldn't be even allowed on Vrbo any more. Vrbo has done nothing to right this wrong either. Stay some where else, anywhere else.

Convenient to Fairgounds

My husband and I were in town as vendors for Vintage Market Days of Dayton Cincinnati which was being held at the Greene Co Fairgrounds. This location was close by and allowed us a short commute each day. The property is beautiful, a true working farm. The interior was very clean and nicely appointed. The only surprise I found was the locked interior door that led to what is the family's business office. On our first day in town, we were getting a later start, resting up for the week and we were able to hear them very clearly through the door as they talked and prepared packages with shipping tape. They are the owners and have access at any given time but at first, it was unnerving to know that they were within earshot of our quarters. In the end, it did not matter to us because we were gone all day but if we had spent the days there I would have been more uncomfortable and not as relaxed. There was also an RV in the driveway where we parked and on a couple of nights, someone seemed to be staying in it. It was not as private as we would have liked and none of the previous reviews mentioned these items so I am as it probably would have been helpful to us in our choices of places to stay. In conclusion, it was clean, it was safe, it was beautiful, but not so private.

It was a good location between Dayton and Caeser Creek Lake. We brought our boat and the lake was only 20 minutes away and the National Air Force museum in Dayton was less than 30 minutes away. We stayed 3 nights.

SO Peaceful!

This house is beautifully appointed--good beds, living room filled with books, games, and toys, ample dining area, and the kitchen even has a cappuccino machine! The bathroom is spacious, with an excellent hot water supply--even with two teenagers, we didn't run out! At night it's dark, quiet, and peaceful. We enjoyed watching the baby goats play in their enclosure across from the front porch, and seeing the sheep outside the kitchen window. Truly a tranquil escape, as advertised!

Fun weekend!

Our family stayed here while in Xenia for our niece's wedding. It was roomy, clean and well stocked. Our grandchildren especially enjoyed all of the toys that were available, the lightning bugs, and the farm life nearby. Lots of sleeping options so we were very comfortable. We will certainly consider this property for any future family trips to Xenia (three more nieces) and would recommend it for any family with small children. Because of all the rain and our busyness, we did not meet the owners, but they made our stay very enjoyable. Next time we would bring paper towels, a box of Kleenex and children’s dinnerware.
