Genießen Sie diesen Privatstrand an der Öffnung der Mitchell Bay auf der Westseite der Insel San Juan. Dieses Haus mit 3 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern ist perfekt für Familien oder ein paar Paare, die sich entspannen und das Inselleben genießen möchten. HINWEIS: VON JETZT BIS ZUM FRÜHJAHR 2020 WIRD EINE AKTIVE BAUSTELLE IN DER NÄCHSTEN TÜR ZU DIESEM EIGENTUM STEHEN. Der Bau wird während des Dankeschöns, Weihnachten und Neujahr auf ein Minimum beschränkt sein.

Im Obergeschoss befinden sich ein Queensize-Bett, ein Schlafraum mit 3 Etagenbetten (für 6 Personen) und ein 3/4 Badezimmer. Das Erdgeschoss verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche, ein großes Zimmer und einen Essbereich. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich auch das 2. Schlafzimmer mit einem Queensize-Bett und einem kompletten Badezimmer. Es gibt einen Grill im Freien, eine große Terrasse mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten und Blick auf Open Bay und Vancouver Island.

Beautiful view!

The listing is spot on. Beautiful scenery and very peaceful. Easy to put out kayak in from the beach. Nice gravel beach, easy access. It would be nice if there was a privacy hedge planted between the neighbors. One of the neighbors is the owner of the unit. Overall great stay.

Island Retreat

Beautiful location and wonderful house with a lot of room. The deck overlooking the water was absolutely unbeatable and being able to take steps down to the shoreline was really nice. Very relaxing!!

Beautiful location

This was a beautiful location to stay at. The only thing we wished for was bigger beds. The internet was not reliable so working while visiting wouldn’t be possible, but with the views you wouldn’t want to work anyway. Beautiful home. The house was very clean and the location was very quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect for visiting family

We invited my nephew and his family to visit us on San Juan but our circumstances changed and I needed to find alternate housing for them. Having them in the Open Bay Beach was the perfect answer. They had a fabulous time and take away great memories of their visit.

Great time, visited English Camp. Hiked to to scenic overlook about 1.7 miles. Great local food, celebrated my youngest’s 30th bd at Duck Soup. Saw 2 whales right off the properties beach! It was a great yomdd we with family.

Great spot and house

Only 2 issues were old sunken mattress in main floor bedroom, and tv not smart. Mattress on second floor bed is excellent, but on warm days it’s very warm up there. We don’t watch a lot of tv, but did want to watch a football game which was only available on espn+. Otherwise very happy with house and location.

Great getaway

We had a fantastic time. The house was clean, well laid out and had the most spectacular views. It was awesome to just walk down a few steps to beach. Even though we shared the beach with the house next door, we had the place to ourselves and our kids could have played in the rocks and explored the tide pools for hours. We can’t wait to come back in the summer and enjoy the deck and sunnier weather!

Great House!

We loved it - from beginning to end. The location was amazing - with the semi-private beach right in front of us - lovely sunsets. It had everything we needed - even a basketball court for our 3 boys (20, 17, and 14) ... who spent a fair amount of time playing there too. The only thing we would have liked better would have been the water pressure in the showers - especially the upstairs shower ... Don't know if there's a fix for that, but it was pretty whimpy .... but other than that, it was perfect. We'd definitely come back again! Thanks for taking good care of us! :-)

Fantastic Location

The location really can't be beat. The beach is at your door, and its lovely. Convenient to Wescott, Roche, Lime Kiln, Mount Young and Grant, and the Alpacas. Town is just twenty minutes. One oddity: there were just four of us so the upstairs bathroom layout wasn't an issue. However, if there were another couple in the second bedroom upstairs, they would have to pass through the other upstairs bedroom when gong to use the bathroom. Should be a hallway with a door into the main bedroom. Great place though!

Terrible shower water pressure

Beautiful property, location, scenery. It was around 90 degrees the first 2 days and i asked about a fan. I told property management i would have to go to ACE and buy a box fan myself, they never responded or offered to bring one, therefore we bought a $50 box fan. The water pressure in the showers is amost null, to the point it needs attention. Pressure is good in sinks and toilets. Otherwise it was a lovely stay in every other way.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: really nice property, great location. We were lucky that neither neighboring properties were occupied as they are very large and each could have had 10 people. The aerial photo currently being used does not show the new property next door which is very close. Overall a very comfortable home! Used only the downstairs bedroom which was large and fine but it only had a small double bed, could have used a larger bed here. It was great to have a bath with a tub and another bath upstairs with a shower!! Maybe could have used luggage racks. Also could have used detailed instructions on how to work the television and a better lamp in the living room. Thank you for letting us use this amazing house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the Open Bay Beach Home for a week in May. It was like a home away from home, with everything we needed. Lots of extra space and can easily accommodate 6 guests. There were only two of us, and for a couple of days 3 of us. Two levels made this very nice with just two, or more. very clean and everything was ready when we arrived, with easy instructions and check in. Beach is nice, gravel beach. Although there neighboring homes, we never saw anyone else. Easy access by short drives to Friday Harbor, and other parts of San Juan Island, including several very nice state parks. Suggest visiting the Lime Kiln state park, which also has a very nice whale watching overlook, with several picnic tables for lunch. Weather in May in Washington can be very rainy but our stay was very nice weather, only rained one day out of 8.

PERFECTION 💙

This was my second trip to this wonderful home and it will not be my last. It’s just the perfect place. We celebrated another birthday this trip like we did on the first trip three years ago. All the amenities are available in this home. The best one is the beautiful view and peaceful setting💙 Coffee maker broke while we were there and received an immediate response to my email about replacing. Easy check-in and out. Till next time…

Exceptional property for a family vacation!

This beautiful property was right on the water with all the amenities provided to ensure a wonderful time for my family. The adults were very comfortable and the 3 teenage girls had their own room. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked. We would love to stay again!

Peaceful Getaway

Home is nicely located away from the “busy” tourist areas. Location is quiet with amazing views. We felt as though we had that section of the island to ourselves. Clean, comfortable, and stocked with what you might need.
