To put this review in perspective, let me first describe our journey to Lisbon. It was long, nearly 22 hours - including a 3-hour departure delay, a missed connection at LHR, lost luggage in LIS, a metro ride to BmyGuest check-in office, and a re-routed metro ride to Baixa-Chiado due to a metro line closure. Through it all, we arrived at the apartment at 8:30pm in good spirits and looking forward to a shower and a good night sleep. Entering the apartment building, we were greeted with the stench of stale cigarette smoke and a musty, mildew smell. We made our way up the narrow staircase and successfully entered the apartment. The hopes for a shower and sleep were put on hold since the apartment was dirty, sheets had not been changed, a pile of dirty towels sat on the bed, and there was no toilet seat. Apparently a previous guest broke the toilet seat and BmyGuest was unable to replace it. We quickly reached out to the property manager and we had to vacate the property for another hour so he could send cleaners to do what should have been done hours earlier. While BmyGuest apparently does not hire reliable cleaners, they do hire great photographers. What appears to be a cute, charming, well maintained apartment is really a dirty, musty, and poorly maintained unit. There is a huge water stain on the bathroom ceiling, flooring in the kitchen is delaminating, and rust stains on the bathroom sink. I requested refund of the cleaning fee - BmyGuest denied the request. Stay Away!!!
