Amazing location

Comfortable apartment in great location. Lots of fabulous local restaurants and bars. Flat Cafe a great spot for coffee/breakfast.Easy and helpful communication with host prior and during visit.Communication regarding transport at end of visit could have been better. Speak with Flat Cafe owner, he is very helpful and has taxi numbers who come to door but would recommend pre booking.

Lovely clean property, perfect for a small family. Extremely close to an enormous amount of local restaurants, shops and transport. Would stay here again!

Great Location

We had a great stay. The apartment was in a great location with tons of restaurants, bars, groceries within walking distance. (all up hill). Try the restaurant across the street, very good.

Appartement parfait pour nous.

Appartement tres confortable, devo sympa, très propre, rien ne manque. Nous sommes restés 4 nuits, le quartier est sympa, petites ruelles, escaliers typiques du Bairro Alto.

Beautiful!

My brother and I stayed here for a few days and loved it. The pictures accurately represent the actual apartment; we had everything we could need: dishes, coffee machine, hair dryer, washer, etc; the location was amazing, everything was close by; and we could leave the windows open to hear all the bustle of the streets, or close them up and sleep peacefully. The only one negative would be the water pressure/temperature of the shower. 90/100 but if they fixed the water pressure/temp it would be 100/100!!!!

Great central place in Lisbon

Nice neighborhood and good access to Metro, stores, groceries, restaurants, etc. Pisco Sours from the Peruvian bar/.restaurant just around the corner are exceptional! Travel light, since the apartment is a three story walkup.

No air conditioning!

The apartment is, indeed, in the heart of a lively neighborhood, full of good restaurants, cafes and friendly hosts. We loved that! However, plan for hiking up or down steep hills. There’s no way around it. The southern flat area of the river is 5 minutes away going down, via a picturesque staircase, which you’ll have to climb up when you come back! We had to do this at 97 Fahrenheit, which was not fun. The apartment is on the 4th floor, with no elevator. The staircase is very steep and narrow. If you travel with heavy/bulky luggage, going up and down is a challenge. Actually, with or without luggage, it’s a challenge! At check in, the gentleman that received us helped us with our luggage. The really uncomfortable thing about the apartment is that it had no air conditioning. There were only 2 fans for 3 sleeping areas, including the sofa bed. The management was considerate and allowed me to go purchase 2 fans the afternoon we arrived, right before the stores closed for the day; and offered to reimburse me for the expense. Communication with them flowed easily during the process of buying the fans. Still, the heat was brutal and it was not a pleasant stay without a/c. The beds were comfortable, the sofa bed not so much. There’s plenty of space to put the luggage in the dining room, but no space for it in the master bedroom. The nightstands and vanities are tiny. The bathroom had nowhere to hang towels. The second bedroom has an area where you can open a foldable drying rack to dry towels or your clothes. The kitchen supplies are in good shape. The apartment is clean. If you come from a culture where air conditioning is important, do not stay here during summer. Otherwise, have fun with the unique hills and staircases!

Great time in Lisbon

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Lisbon. The apartment was well appointed and very clean. The couch bed was a bit uncomfortable for our 17 year old, but it was manageable. If you are traveling with young kids, keep in mind that at night it can be a bit loud if you leave the windows open. There is no a/c. This was not a problem for us. We enjoyed listening to the music and watching the dancing from the apartment. We were in a great location for all the area attractions. The owners were responsive to our questions and requests. We would definitely stay at this location again.

So many choices

There are at least 20 amazing restaurants, cafes and bars within 250 metes of the apartment. Central to the waterfront and Chiado but still quiet. Very comfortable, clean and well taken care of.

Its all happening in Bica..

We three really enjoyed our week in this Bica Apartment. We were met promptly on arrival for our check in and Sonya who met us was very helpful and full of local knowledge. Loved the neighbouhood, action packed with locals and touists enjoying the fine restaurants and time spent out on the streets for all hours.The location is great for getting to everything, access to transportation, sights, shopping, eating and stores for getting apartment necessities quickly.A few things that guests might not find attractive : on first arrival - all the activity and noise on street might be a bit much unless that is what you were looking for..We were not looking for that but really fell for the neighbour hood just as it was. Be aware 3 flights up! We were here end of Sept and early Oct and still quite hot so you do have to keep windows open for air flow as no AC. Which means noise could be an issue for some. Apartment has basically everything you need, laundry, coffee machine, groceries if needed..just up street but , couple of thing the place could use is towel hooks in bathroom , a shelf and perhaps something in shower to put soap and shampoo on.. Some attention to small maintainence things as well. All in all we had a great week would say stay here and do hope to visit Portugal again!

séjour agréable appart sympa

appartement bien situé pour découvrir le vieux Lisbonne. Prestations plus que correct et l'ensemble du logement est fonctionnel. Petit point négatif pas de clim et l'ouverture des fenêtres lorsqu'il fait chaud engendre un peu de bruit car l'extérieur est vivant. Hormis cela nous avons passé un super séjour.

Loved Lisbon Bica appartment

The apartment was very well located, you are close walking to major sites, markets, restaurants, shopping,etc. You will not be bored. The appartment was great we were a family of 5( one used the couch, which turned to bed), and we were very comfortable. If you are planing to arrive to the appartment by metro, walking etc. Be ready for some serious exercice, specially if you have heavy luggage’s :-)

TRES BONNE EXPÉRIENCE!

. Tout s'est très bien passé. L'équipe qui gère le bien est très professionnelle. Bons conseils à l'arrivée. . Appartement moderne, très propre avec tout le confort, idéal pour une famille avec deux enfants. Le double vitrage est excellent, aucune nuisance sonore. . Partie séjour très agréable. . L'appartement est très bien situé, on se rend à de nombreux points touristiques à pieds. Tous les moyens de transport sont à proximité. Une superette également à proximité, très pratique. Nombreux bars, cafés et restaurants. . Nous avons passé une excellente semaine de vacances à Lisbonne et recommendons vivement cet appartement!
