Schlafmöglichkeiten für 10 mit 4 Schlafzimmern Das Haus verfügt über einen großen Garten mit Feuerstelle, auf Veranda abgeschirmt und eine große gartenähnliche Terrasse. Geräte sind neu und Möbel sind sehr gutem Zustand. Alle Bettwäsche und Koch nutzt zur Verfügung gestellt. In diesem Jahr Haus verfügt über Klimaanlage, Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine und Trockner. Dieses Haus befindet sich neben dem historischen Bahnhof, Spielplatz, 6 Tennisplätze, 2 Meile Wanderweg, und drei Blocks vom Hoover-Stadion. Zu den Attraktionen am See gehören ein kostenfreier Angelpier, ein kostenfreier Strand, ein kostenloses Kinderbecken und ein Wasserpark, ein kostenloses Shuffle Board, kostenloses Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis und Aktivitäten für Kinder. Lakeside hat gerade einen 3,2 Millionen Dollar Pool und 2 Wasserrutschen nur 200 Meter von zu Hause entfernt. Gegen eine geringe Gebühr sind Put-Put, Bootsfahrten und Golfwagen verfügbar. Another great weekend at Lakeside

We enjoyed our time at this house. The family is growing so we had to extend to a second house and this worked perfect for us. The golf cart was nice to use and having the bedding and towels provided was also very nice! I would stay here again.

Perfect for our crew

Blueberry Hill was perfect for our stay. We had family across the street so we really just needed it for sleeping. The house was clean and provided sheets and towels, which is a real plus at Lakeside! I’ve always had to bring linens. We did not use the pullout couch but I wouldn’t really call that a bedroom. It was perfect for the 5 of us to stay. It would have been tight if 4 more people were with us.

Fun Family Time

We had a great time in this cottage. The family who slept upstairs didn't mind that they had to go through one bedroom to get to the second one or that the 2nd bathroom was downstairs. The window air conditioners kept the house very cool. All the appliances were top quality. We appreciated having a washer and dryer, too. The golf cart being included in the rental fee was a huge plus, too.

Not what we expected

Be aware that in the You need to know section of this VRBO listing "Extra person charges may apply and vary depending on property policy" and "Government issued id and credit/debit/cash deposit may be required at check in for incedental charges" means that this property is in a gated community that requires per person per a auto per a day fee during certain times of the year. No exception. We were completely blindsided. Our fees were well over a thousand for the week. The host did cover part of the fee when we pushed back that there was nothing in the listing indicating the fees. All of the free amenities are only free because of these fees. Also there are 2 actual bedrooms, a loft with a bed that you must pass thru to get to the upstairs bedroom, and a tiny room just big enough for a pullout couch off the kitchen with a sliding door and no ventillation. Both bathrooms are on the first floor. The sheets had stains and the towels were a hodge podge of worn quality. The hot water was iffy. There was still a gnat problem. Communication by the host was not very timely but did get responses eventually. The cottage itself could use a good makeover. It did provide a place to sleep and shower. The location itself is perfect if you are doing things in and around Marblehead. We did enjoy the use of the golf cart.

Great price for a really good place to stay

We had a great stay! The golf cart was key, since it was a bit farther than where we had stayed previously (and I'd recently had had knee surgery, there would have been no way of me walking or biking back & forth to the park & shops). The house was big enough for our needs, 4 *almost* bedrooms - one was a loft at the top of the stairs that the other upstairs bedroom sleepers had to walk through, but this is not an issue with kids. The living room was comfortable, the 3 window air conditioners indeed kept the house cool enough, and it was a hot week! 2 tables for eating/working were great. I think our biggest issue was the cleanliness of the kitchen and the gnats (we had read about the gnat problem in a recent review and took a plug in bug light/catcher, which was such a huge help).

Blueberry Hill

In a quiet area on a cul de sac, so no traffic. Golf cart provided was an excellent bonus to travel to all the activities in Lakeside. Mattresses could use some updating but not bad. Had a gnat problem in the house, but owner working to solve this problem, was very apologetic, and even refunded some money towards spray we bought.

Labor Day with Family

Location was great! It was across from two houses who are great friends. The only negative is that when our family arrived the house looked like it had not been cleaned. Toilets dirty, floors etc. We ended up cleaning it ourselves unfortunately.

The property met all our expectations. It was in a very convenient location, and was close to many activities. It offered many amenities for all ages. I would highly recommend the Blueberry Hill property for families of all ages.

1st time stay at Lakeside

I was looking forward to my trip & stay @ Lakeside, however upon entering I was informed of fees-fees that were never mentioned by VRBO or the owner. I was completely blindsided by these fees. I was told by Lakeside Association that the owner should have informed me of the fees, he did not. The fees included, entrance fee, daily resort fee, a daily car fee & a preservation fee-for 1 week 4 adults it was over $600 worth of fees that were never mentioned in any of the information. This information should have been mentioned by VRBO & by the owner. The fees had a significant impact on our vacation budget, limiting some of the plans we had made. Furthermore, the house itself is in major need of updating!! The bathrooms both need updated, better lighting. The furniture is old, uncomfortable & if you had more than 5 people-seating was/is an issue. The kitchen, also desperately needs better lighting. Finally, the little touches of soap at the sink, hand towels, additional paper goods: Kleenex, paper towels, toilet paper-were not available. For the money we paid this should have been included.

Fantastic

We had a family vacation and other family were staying in other cottages all around lakeside. The location of this cottage is great for getting to the pool or walking trails. The cottage was clean and had plenty of linens. The owner was great, he lives right next door so responds quickly. It was nice having golf cart too. Going back next year and staying in same cottage.

Great rental

This place is ideal for an older couple who don’t like going upstairs to the bedrooms. The first floor has a master bedroom with a queen bed and two full baths. But if you have a larger family there is plenty of room with two bedrooms up. Very clean and located at the top of a dead end street, so little traffic, yet around the corner from the pool, tennis courts, pickle ball, etc. The owner John lives next door and is very responsive to requests. The use of a golf cart was a real plus. You will enjoy your stay here!

Needs work but overall fun location

Pros: golf cart with property was amazing. location and community very friendly and charming, great state parks locally and close to ferry for Kelley’s island. Shops in town were great and those that stayed open after Labor Day had great sales. People were friendly, manager of the hotel in town gave us a tour even after it was closed. Cons: major issue with front porch, needs to be torn off or reconstructed. Main entrance cluttered and messy, toys paint cans and garden debris everywhere. Poor lighting in main living area. Older home with charm but could use some easy updates. Carpets stained upstairs, blinds dirty and broken, window ac units dirty and not in all the bedrooms. Yard around the house and back was nothing too grand. Clutter around and looked very messy. Owner responded to messages quick but did not deliver on requests. Oven door was missing and incredibly dangerous for a toddler and infant. We were not warned of this prior to visit. Beds were comfortable but bedding/ pillows were limited. Minimal essentials in the kitchen. Be aware ! Almost everything was closed or shut down after Labor Day. Including restaurants outside gated community. Overall it’s a quaint little house in a great location but for the price of renting it, and gate fees and cleaning fees, it could use a good remodel for safety and updates.

Not a big enough table for all to eat or play games together. Very dissatisfied with oven situation. Couldn’t find fire extinguisher or co 2 detector(s). Did love location and use of golf cart. Plenty of linens and dishes. (Could use more glasses/cups)Kids enjoyed bikes and skateboards. Good tv selection. The presence of the antique table and the carrousel horse was a distraction. This is a rental. We are careful and respectful but shouldn’t have to worry about untouchable items. The family has rented many lakeside places so we knew the expectations of being renters.

Place was nice. 4 th bedroom wasn’t really a bedroom. A little far out from lake & activities.

We enjoyed our stay and John is a friendly host. Our 5 year old enjoyed the Legos and the golf cart

John was very accommodating with our, fortunate, earlier than expected arrival. He let us drop of our bags and use the golf cart to go down to the beach while the cleaner finished cleaning the house. He alsoy let us use peppers and tomatoes from the garden for our salads.

Charming Chatauqua

We love coming to visit the grounds inside Lakeside Chatauqua, and this was such a lovely spot! Quiet and nestled off the main portion of the grid, the golf cart was a huge bonus to get down to the events in the center of town without hiking. Easy access to the pool with day passes, and the scenery is so stunning! Thank you John!

This home has always been a year round home with many update and it has community playground in back yard 2 block from Rhien center where all children's activities take place and only steps away from walking trails. 3 blocks from Hoover auditorium. 400 yards to tennis courts and senior exercise complex.We always wanted to purchase inside the gates of Lakeside but could never afford it but then a neighbor wanted to trade us for our house in Port Clinton and we jumped at the chance.It was our primary residence until we built our present home next door.

Includes linens. cable tv several bikes included fire pit beautiful woods behind home for great games of hide and seek. New health center is located only 200 yards from home.Our home is not decorated like a rental as we kept every thing as though we were living there and we especially enjoyed large swing and screened in porch.We also have lots of windows which lets plenty of sunshine in.Home has many hardwood floors open stair way and high ceilings to give you old world feel with new updates such as all new wiring to code to include hard wired smoke detectors.We are on a nice hill among many lovely homes that have recently been built on this tranquil street.Free use of new custom golf cart valued at $60 per day.
